. I know what I am writting about, the required vacant slots is 1750 and not 17500, you can google it and confirm it online, I even read it on several national daily newspapers.

kismo: My fellow nairalanders, I just got this authentic information from a very reliable source. Out of the thousands of applicants that sat for the test, ONLY 2000 plus passed, hence the reason why they invited those who missed the first test to come and write. Even with that, few people passed. The recent development is that they will either re-advertise the vacancy by giving room for other fields of study and qualifications to come in or introduce "Moral Qualification" (honestly, I don't understand this o) to enable them get the required number of staff needed for the job. When I asked him what he meant by "moral", he said since the job has to do with curbing criminal activities, there is need to introduce that. I really don't know how they want to go about that o. But the result of the test may not be published any time soon because of the above mentioned. They will soon hold a board meeting to deliberate on what to do. Let's just be hopeful that whatever decision they arrive at will favour us. SHALOM!

. My friend I do not believe ur story because,it was widely stated that over 150000 applied for just 1750 nimc job slots, so if 2000 people passed 1750 job slots what is the need for your above mentioned.

What's wrong with FG, dis was what happened with NNPC intead of calling for test they embarked on another round of recruitment for same positions,now its nimc turn to embark on another round of apt test rather than calling 4 interview. God help us.

@arantess, was d interview for one position or all d advertised positions so dat we know our faith.

Please is any one travelling to abuja for nitda apt test dis week,let's analyse issues at stake b4 trvl, because it is 16500 applicants jostling for only 25 posts,incuding quota system. Am kind of confused.

SAM1979: My appl 4 Finance & Admin Asst (Akwa Ibom) shows 'in process'. Finance & Admin Asst ( Abia, Rivers & Bayelsa) shows 'on file'. Asst Tech Officer Prevention & Mitigation/ monitoring & evaluation (Abia, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Bayelsa) shows 'on file'. did M & E Asst interview wt FHI in 2006 bt ws nt successful. We were only 2 candidates dt were shortlisted dn. Later got a bank job bt lost it 2009. Want to use my 3 yrs ad hoc experience in international NGO plus another 3 yrs banking exp to grab 1 job wt them. Realy need to relaunch my career

Consider dis, the available slots is 24 in all, 16,500 applied, quota system inclusive and up to 13 states can get even 1 (one) slot.

I got d text too, but before travelling consider dat 16,500 applicants applied although i dont know hw many shortlisted jostling for 24 vacancies in all d possitions advertised, and quota system inclusive.

@aijay80 it is both that are showing application On File, inshort d one of dec shows on file since jan 8 while feb application shows On File feb 17, pls did u observe when urs started showing In Proccess, i applied 4 d position of finance an administrative assistance, which position did u apply for.

Yes, i also applied 4 d february advert and i have check on my application status it states On File, have u checked urs, pls do and tell d house.

@u3fine, when did you observe urs, i observed mine on 8 jan, lets hope b4 jan ending we wil recve call 4 interview or do u know their interview duration.
