If I may advice, you may wish to look at your tenancy agreement (if any) because you may not even be entitled to the notice to quit you are boasting about. Moreover, notice to quit is not a ticket for free tenancy.

Your rent expires in December and your Landlord gave you notice of increase already. You can't fault the timing in any way.

Finally bro, I don't pay rent anymore. You will get there someday.

Your landlord can increase the rent at anytime and at any rate he chose. If it's not convenient for you, you can look for alternative accomodation. It doesn't matter if you just rented the property provided that the increase does not effect the year already paid for

As far as the quit notice I demanded for is not served until my rent expires in December ,he can go to hell .When he dies ,he should take his house along .

You should always understand that regardless of the age of the house, when it comes to repair, landlord spend more than rent payment. You are advice to go meet your landlord or caretaker 1on1 for dialogue, not by looking fo people to out you through legal or illegal way. We all understand the cost of building and repairs, so seek for dialogue not fight.
I'm a landlord for your information and I know the amount I spent on my little mansion. So reason with your landlord bro.

But I swear to you, those people are not innocent. I live and work in lekki phase 1. Those kids would stab you, Rob you or even kill you if you cross their paths. The ladies would set you up or even kill you too. This is what we experience everyday, this not the first time, they are constantly raided but they always find their way back, even the residents that usually jog at night pr early mornings have horrible experiences from these criminals.

The kids are day light robbers while the ladies are olosos both day and night .If they think we are exaggerating ,let them go to that MTN office at Admiralty way this afternoon and see small kids misbehaving on the streets of Admiralty way .From ikate bus stop down to freedom way all to Lekki gate are black spots .
