Good day guys
Im trying to get a monofacial panel since I'm installing direct on rooftop within 550 -590w for my Ecoflow d2
I know brands such as jinko,ja solar,zn
But issue is where can I order from
Out of stock on fouani, even cdcare ,my location is in the east
Any help will be appreciated.
Cworth 600watt panel is not bad too sha, I had to waybill it from their Portharcourt office the last time I had installation at Eket, Akwa Ibom state

FROM FOUANI MANAGER HERE IN ABUJA

1. Price of both bi and mono are same at fouani( i confirmed and bought 4 pieces each)
2. It is safe to install bi on a roof top
3. One can use bi on a normal roof
It will be unintelligent to install a bifacial solar panel on a dull roof or any roof other than a white one, cos it will make no difference from the mono panel type n it will serve no meaninful purpose during harvest instead an individual have only successfully added more load on the roof for the roofing structures to bear which might be dangerous for the entire building. However, if a bifacial panel is to be installed on a shining roof, one can not use a normal interlock aluminium for its installation, instead a more technical accessories that will raise the panel at an height on the roof will serve a tremendous purpose in energy generation and that would birth higher safety precautions. So I hope solar panel dealers are not pushing agenda on bifacial panels to the populace. Though in all honestly, bifacial panel is better than the mono types but best installed on the ground for awesome results

Exactly same issue I was facing. If you shut down the entire system, it fixes it for a day or two but after that it's back to square one.

I hard resetted it a few days ago and it's been fine so fingers crossed. Doesn't seem like a hardware issue, just a software one. Try the reset.
At around past 12, the stuff was still not charging, so I started to boil water on the hot plate so that it would resume charging n few minutes into it, I logged on to find ur post though immediately I switched off the hot plate it resumed charging but I still did the troubleshooting as u alighted above... I pray it solves d software issue once n for all

Posting since it may come in handy for someone.

For anyone who's trying to hard reset an SRNE HF series inverter, the steps are to

- Disconnect all sources apart from battery
- Press and hold the Up and Down buttons together till a square starts to flash
- Shut down the inverter with the inverter's power switch
- Wait till screen goes off, and then turn it back on

SRNE manufactures units for companies like Powmr, Renogy, Midnight Solar and some other brands so this may work for those as well.
Infact, I pray this troubleshoot works, my SRNE high pv inverter doesn't start charging automatically until I power on a big appliance like a hot plate before it commences charging and even after the battery n when it's full but a few minute cloud cover, it won't restart charging automatically unless I manually power on a big appliance as well

The problem is that hospitals don't know seasons-- patients can't be predicted and number of appliances cannot be rationed especially during emergencies. Personally, this project is not feasible(my opinion though).
If I were to be d engineer, I would suggest to the hospital management that we should split the system into 2 groups, 5kwHF inverter to cater for the fan, computer and bulbs and massively overpanel the set up since most operations would be during the day n lesser activities at night n with 20-25kwh battery should be fine while the 2nd installation that would cater for scan, fridge and lab would be a 6kw transformer-based inverter cos of the huge surge and moderately oversize the panel too, the battery size would depend on whether fridges, scanning machine n lab activities would run 24/7 or just during the day only

But this numbers here will lead to tears.
No be all meat person dey chop.
I understand d angle u looking at it from bro, but my take is that d project is doable provided the installer/engineer prioritise quality components and a top-notch installation and then go into details with the client, letting him to know that energy generation might drop during d raining season but a good value for money during the dry season.

I've decided to set aside my inverter cos I've repaired it 3 good times and it's not up to a week before it gets faulty again. I need an inverter recommendation for my load as follows...

1.5HP LG inverter AC..

65 inch LG Smart TV (mainly for parlour)

45 inch Hiscene Smart TV...(Few hours inside room)

45 inch Hiscene Smart Tv (few hours inside room)

Thermocool Table Refrigerator (10 hours daily )

4 Fans (2 on 20 hours standby, rest 2 fans are not more than 6 hours daily)

Blending machine (twice a week)

Bread toaster (twice a week)

Air Fryer (twice a week)

Lightning points for 2 bedroom apartment..

Might possibly use electric oven in the future..

I've a 120 amps Felicity CC so I don't know if hybrid inverter will work. Also, should it be 24v or 48v system? Thanks bosses 🙏
You're good to go with a 8kw/10kw srne 48v hybrid inverter.... however, what's the capacity of ur battery

You are a solar engineer and a hospital gives you this load capacity. 5910w.
Note the high power equipment in that load.

What materials do you suggest them to get for a good solar alternative power solution?

Battery kwh, panel kwh, low/high freq inverter? External charge controller?

Experts give ur suggestion.
U need to reaffirm the wattage of the fridges.. 500watt is too massive to be true

Oh wow! thank you so much for this eye opener. God bless you.

I would appreciate your professional guidance on the best components and whether my budget is realistic for this setup.

My Budget and Requirements

Budget: ₦1.5 million

Power Requirements for my store:

10 lighting points
1 × 24-inch TV
2 × standing fans
1 × 1.5HP inverter AC (for afternoon use during peak sun hours while fans are off)

I'm considering a 3.5kVA 24V hybrid inverter to handle my load, especially the AC during sunny afternoons. However, I'm unsure if my budget can accommodate all my needs.

I need advice on:

Hybrid Inverter: What brand and specifications would you recommend?
Battery System: Which lithium battery brand and capacity should I choose?
Solar Panels: What type and wattage would be most suitable?
Charge Controller: What specifications should I look for?

My main concern: Can my ₦1.5 million budget cover a complete system that meets these requirements?
Yeah, you're good to go with 3.5kva 24v inverter for 310-330k
3.8kwh lithium battery from mrreed for around 600k
4pcs of 590watt jinko panel @500k since u intend to be using AC in the afternoon
150k for cable and accessories

U may need to up ur budget by 300-400k sha

It's a wealthy mistake i must say, how can a person invest his money in buying components for a client without collecting at least 5-20% of the total sum as commitments/advance. It's a woeful financial decision!

That ur fan stays on even when no load is plugged to the system is a put off for me... just like @Dam5reey and someone on this thread reviewed Bread 1.5kva and Haisic 1.5kva inverters, I deduced that Bread was way better in Comparison to d Haisic

bkuranga:
I have no idea of how good these inverters are.
I have a friend using Bread 3.5KVA, he's had no complain so far.

I'm using LuxSun 4.2KVA and the performance has been excellent. And I feel it's in the same category as those listed.

Aside the fact that the fan is always on, I have tested it roughly lately and it's doing good.

You may want to consider Luxsun if you are looking for recommendations from users.

I have a question that need explanation please

CAN A 10kwh Lithium battery power 1hp LG inverter AC set at 16degree temperature ( not GEN mode) 50watt fan and 100w bulb overnight ( 6pm till 6am next day) with charging?

I just need DIRECT ANSWER and forget about inverter size , panel size and charge controller size

Thank you
No, 1hp is approximately 750watt plus additional 150watt, making a total of 900watt multiply by 12hours, making 10800watthour. So ur best bet is a 15kwh battery, at full charge, it will suit ur need

35 pieces of 555w panels? 😱😱😱😱😱

Choi.

Why you using it on only 1 cc of 120a?
120a means the highest it'll use to charge the two batteries is about 6.5kwh.
With 35 of those panels, at peak you could produce 19kwh. What happens to the rest not used?
You should've got 2 mppts and you will have enough juice to pump into both batteries.

HeavenlyBang:
Not sure what you mean. If it's converting electricity from DC to AC, then it's inverting. That's quite literally what an inverter does.

You seem to be assuming power from panels just flows directly to your load without the inverter doing anything?

If I try that same load at night when I'm on battery (I wouldn't either, it's well above the 0.5c typical lithium cells can handle) and the inverter trips off, it's not that the inverter can't handle the load; it's because the battery can't handle that discharge amperage.
I don't believe that bro, I use 5.888kwh lfp battery with a Bluetooth enabled bms, the day i tried my 2.2kw electric kettle on d 3.3kw srne inverter while I was also monitoring the battery behaviour on my phone, I'm happy to tell u that the inverter shut down on d basis of an overload while on the bms app, there wasn't any warning sign

If there is interference from the inverter with electronic devices, the inverter is not pure sine wave.

These Sako issues I have read here was why I was hell bent on buying a TBB inverter again I wanted to upgrade my inverter to 3kw.

Even though I saw cheaper options which was half the price of the one I finally got.

I used their 1.2kva for 2 years without any problems. I resold it and the buyer is still using it until now.

I used the 1.2kva to power my home appliances including my refrigerator.

Any product that can give 5 years of warranty is no joke.

The cworth battery I got I just hope it won't disappoint since it's still a relatively new brand in the market.
Dey play!!! Abi no be 5years warranty Sako gave on their lithium battery pack that a colleague here is suffering n battling with an impaired one few months after purchase
