Abali1: I thought this man has some self respect. Why is he trading words like some illiterate market women.
When he was licking OBJ's azz, he didn't know that it will one day come to an end.

@abalil, must you insult market women before you drive at your point? Some market women are more dignified than those you are presumably rooting for.

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Oldham Athletics Vs Liverpool Fc At 5pm. Match Preview And Likely Line-ups by eedreez505: 3:23pm On Jan 27, 2013
Venue: Boundary Park
Kick-Off: 5pm

A repeat of last season’s Third round tie sees an out of form Oldham Athletic welcome Brendan Rodgers’ improving Liverpool to Boundary Park. The game last year finished 5-1 to the premier league team and, although nothing is ever certain in football, it will be a huge shock if the Reds do not win again on Sunday.

Oldham are without a win in their last 8 League One games and currently sit just 4 points above the relegation zone, however they did pull off something of a giant killing in the previous round when they defeated Championship Nottingham Forest 3-2 at the City Ground. Robbie Simpson scored two for the Latics that day and his efforts, along with those of Former Liverpool Youngster Dean Bouzanis and Ex- Everton striker Jose Baxter, will be crucial if they are to get anything from this game.

In contrast to Oldham, Liverpool have shown promise in recent games that was lacking at the start of the season. Last Saturdays 5-0 hammering of Norwich City was their third win in 4 games, a period in which they have scored 12 goals.

Team News
Jose’s Reina and Enrique are expected to miss the tie through injury and there is also a concern over the fitness of Glen Johnson, who has a tight hamstring. This means there could be a rare start for young Left-Back Jack Robinson and Brad Jones is expected to continue in goal. There has been no word from Brendan Rodgers as to how strong a team he will field but if the third round win at Mansfield is any indication then we can expect a near to full strength line up, that could include new signing Daniel Sturridge and top scorer Luis Suarez.

Steven Gerrard and Daniel Agger will be rested, according to the Mirror.

Unfortunately for Oldham fans, they will be without star midfielder Dean Furman as he is still on international duty with South Africa at the African Cup of Nations, James Wesolowski, a lifelong Liverpool fan is likely to take his place.

Likely Line-Ups
Oldham: Bouzanis; Wabara, Byrne, M’voto, Grounds; M’Changama, Baxter; Wesolowki; Sutherland, Smith, Taylor.

Liverpool: Jones, Robinson, Carragher, Skrtel, Johnson, Downing, Henderson, Allen, Sterling, Sturridge, Suarez.

nkem Kalu: HIS 6 YEARS SINGLE TENOR BUHAHAHAHA........TRYING TO THINK NIGERIANS ARE FOOLS WHILE ATTEMPTING TO GET EIGHT YEARS TENOR FROM THE BACK DOOR. AGAIN, COMING BACK TO DENY THAT IT WAS NOT HIS OWN IDEA. THEN WHOSE IDEA WAS IT? WHY CAN'T U OWN UP TO YOUR OWN BLUNDER. (2) HIS HANDLING OF VINCENT OGBULAFO'S CASE WHEN THE MAN SIMPLY SAID THE NORTH SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO COMPLETE THEIR EIGHT YEAR TENOR. AS IF THE MAN OGBULAFOR DOES NOT HAVE A RIGHT TO SAY HIS OPINION ...HE WAS REMOVED FROM OFFICE ON TRUMPT UP CHARGES OF CORRUPTION AND TILL NOW WE DON'T KNOW THE RESULT OF THOSE CHARGES. (3) HE SPENDS MONEY ON IRRELEVANT THINGS...SUCH AS PRINTING N5,000.00 NOTES, INDEPENDENT N50.00 NOTES, CHANGING PLATE NUMBERS WHEN THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE OLD ONE.......INFACT, HIS SINS ARE SO MANY AND CANNOT BE FORGIVEN BY GOD HIMSELF. THE THEORY OF GO AND SIN NO MORE IS NOT IN HIS DIARY. HE IS A PERPETUAL SINNER (4) ON THE ECONOMIC FRONT? HE IS A slowpoke. NIGERIA ACCUMMULATED A TOTAL DEBT OF $32B FROM 1970 TO ATLEAST YEAR 2000 WHEN OBASANJO AND OKONJO IWEALA APPEALED TO THE WORLD BANK AND THE PARIS CLUB TO WRITE OFF THE DEBTS. AND THIS DEBT WAS ACCUMMULATED OVER VARIOUS SUCCESSIVE GOVERNMENTS, BUT JONATHAN HAS SINGLE HANDELY PUT NIGERIA INTO A DEBT OF $28B IN TWO YEARS.....SO HOW CAN THIS BE ACCOUNTED FOR WITH ALL THE SUBSIDY BUHAHAHA. NIGERIA IS SIMPLY BANKRUPT UNDER JONATHAN. THE STOCK EXCHANGE THAT WAS TRADING FOR ABOUT N16 TRILLION STOCK NOW HAS LESS THAN N4 TRILLION UNDER GEJ. INFACT, HIS SINS ARE TOO NUMEROUS TO MENTION

awards are most times sentimental, so not surprised. dont 4get wesley sneidjer deserved 2010 ballor d'or and andrea pirlo deserved a place in fifa 12 pro 11.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) / Re: Ballon D'or 2012: How They Voted by eedreez505: 10:21pm On Jan 08, 2013
Jarus:
Yeah, there are sentiments. For example, I see Algerian captain voting for Karim Benzema as no 1. That's clearly sentiment-driven. No sane football watcher would say Benzema was best player in the world in 2012. Messi, Ronaldo, Falcao, Iniesta, Xavi, all debatable, but Benzema, clearly nah. But I can see teh connection - Benzema has Algerian origin like the voter.

Also, I think contrary to his vote, Messi himself believes Ronaldo is one of the top 3 players in the world. Same for the guy that voted for Portugal. He can't tell me he sincerely believed Messi wasnt among top 3 players in the world, but he left him out to reduce his chance.

But overall, I think the voting is diverse enough to reflect true best player. The few sentiments-driven couldn't have made much difference, especially since teh difference between winner and 1st runner up is so wide.
