My Dell latitude e6230 flashes capslock light 3times if I try to power it on. But if I let it discharge by removing the battery and leaving it for a few days, immediately I plug in the charger, it comes on without me having to press the power button. While it comes on luckily, I can restart/reboot, but immediately I turn it off, I'll have to do as stated above and wait for days. I took it to a repair man, he said the computer's BIOS needs reprogramming, but he doesn't have the device to use in the programming. I took it to another repairman that claims he can reprogram the BIOS to check it, but he couldn't fix it after leaving it with him for days(he even claimed to program the BIOS too). And I am not based in Lagos. My problem is, I spent all my hard earned money to get the computer as a student, and I love it. Please should I be worried it could be the motherboard?

My acer e15 does not turn on without plugging it,when I remove the charger and try to turn it on it shows light on the keyboard and screen then it turns off

Hello NL, I have a hp 635 motherboard working properly, I need the case and screen but I don't really have much to spend on the laptop.

Am thinking maybe if they is anybody that has the laptop that the motherboard is not good so that I can buy from him.

I am suspecting the RAM. Will check all the above and get back to you. Though the laptop battery is bad now cos i abandoned it for a long while.

My HP laptop screen doesn't come up again. Though the hard drive still spins when powered on and the extractor fan works perfectly. The laptop was well shut-down before being carried in a laptop bag to another location before the screen stopped coming up again. Any suggestions?

I will never advice anyone to buy Dell them the problem start you will have no option than to sell it sara price ( cheaply ) Hp is the best easy to fix
Am an engineer leave it or take it
If you try to repair dell as you open am be ready it will dictate another fault
