Hello guys, early this morning, I noticed USD has gained some significant value against JPY. So I decided to SELL USDJPY. Some few minutes after I did that, I realised I made a good decision. So I decided to sell more USDJPY, but to my surprise MT5 put a restriction on SELL but allows BUY.
I then decided to check on GBPJPY, I noticed that while the market is on going, there was a restriction on BUY and SELL for GBPJYP.
Although this is not the first time I am noticing something of this nature.
Can someone pls hint me on why such scenario took place...

Hello guys, Happy Democracy day to us all.
I intended getting a profirm account soon, but before doing so, I decided to practice how to overcome the profirm challenge using a $50k demo account that simulate the challenge procedures.
I did that on FTMO Pro firm account.
It was a challenging experience.

The challenge was to generate $2500 profits from a $50k account after 14days. I was able to achieve the set profit after 5 days.
Their rule is that you shouldn't exceed...
Max Daily loss of $2500
Overall Max loss of $5000

My next challenge is to practice using a $10k demo challenge account. I intended getting a $10k pro firm account by the time I am sure of myself.

That's how to tell you that consistency pays, no matter the numbers of failures you encountered along your way. This is someone that it took 8 good months to pass phase 1 and 2 of a particular account o if am right. 5 months for phase 1, and i think 3 months for phase 2 of a particular account.
How many of us can endure like that? It is not yet set, let him get funded up to the tune of over $300k, and just start printing money, it will be like a dream. Let's work hard, work hard, work had and trade with caution, discipline and trade with the edge and consistency. We shall all get there.

Contract size 10 is fairly ok, it just means if you are an intra day trader (i.e 4h charts for stop loss and entry), for us500, with tight stop loss and 0.01 lot size , the minimum risks you are carrying would be about $3.


Some brokers have contract size of 100 for sp500, hence, the need to check before you trade.

I just checked, the contract size is astonishing 10!

My stock broker is FBS.

My address is also showing USA, while I used Nigeria as my address while registering with the broker.
