Did u see the North participating in the #IstandwithNigeria PROTEST? It's simple, There's a silent agricultural revolution going on in the North. Northerners are cashing out on their agriculture produce, Kebbi, Kano, Jigawa, Benue, Plateau, Kaduna etc. While we are here wailing & protesting with an "IMPORT" dependant mindset, the "illiterate" Northerner is exporting ginger, garlic, sesame seeds etc and earning forex at N500 to $1. WHO IS THE FOOL HERE? Why can't our people take advantage and concentrate on the finished products of these agricultural produce and industrialize our area? Didn't we see how they tested LAKE RICE( Lagos- Kebbi Race) as they call it. Are we not seeing Dangote, Bua & top companies moving northwards to establish processing mills, tomato factories etc. That's how we will waste 4 years insulting and cursing Buhari while the North will gradually be feeding the whole of West Africa. My people, this is not the time to protest but a time to put your thinking cap. Nigeria imports more rice than the entire European Union! We are the 2nd largest importer of rice in the world and we want $1 to remain at N150 at a time when crude oil is $57? We have no business with the dollar if we consume what we produce. A word is enough for the wise. Dr Fidelis Chukwuma Uzomah |

magoo10: Just as we the Igbo's have helped you develop your kano ,Jos, gombe etc we are waiting for you guys to come and help us develop ours.,that is if you have the will to do that. if you are talking about poverty I can invite you to abia state and you will see that an average young igbo man is more productive than prosperous than an average adult man in your north.
this is not a debate but a reality ,you cannot compare the prosperity here to your north ,even the dirty you talk about is worst of in your north, that is why you have all sorts of dirty sicknesses and diseases ravaging your north. develop u say ?? hahahahahahahaha firstly in kano city we have sabon gari which is the most dirtiest part in kano ,its well dominated by the igbos secondly in maiduguri we have bulabulin and pompomari well dominated by the igbos its one of the most dirtiest in maiduguri thirdly in lagos here the ladipo market is well dominated by the igbos and its the most dirtiest market in lagos thats a major reason why fashola back den always shut down the market ... igbos develop kano, jos nd gombe hahahahabahahahaha as if i neva go der bfore hahahahahahaha |

My brother take it or leave the north is the region dragging Nigeria back in terms of human and physical development due to its barbaric ways of reasoning.
This is 21st century and everyone knows his rights so you cannot take by force. i have visited this abia state before and its backwardness is out of this world .... Taraba is by far beta dan dat state

rose54321: The North's underdeveloped because of profs like this. Who either know the truth but prefer to lie to their illiterate mass or are themselves ignorant.
In the words of my mentor Emir Sanusi " there's no advantage of raising an army of unemployed beggars".
Damn that statement was deep. u agree with the emir but your village and pple will never stop relying on the north for food and livestock remember ... let this sink in and tell me if such resources the north wont stand on its own |
