what's my business with the number of pastors in the bible? you are insisting the pastor should step down - why must he? which law in the constitution or which pastoral code of conduct says a pastor must abandon his sheep after any misconduct?

Stepping down is not the issue here Mr coogar. But respecting himself and the altal of God. You remember Ananias and his wife in the bible? When they tried this hypocritical life with the leaders in the early church, they died instantly. This is to tell you such lifestyle was not condoled in the early church. In the old testament, if a priest commit sin, he doesn't near the altal of God. Why are you bringing constitution into it now? When I referred you to our president you said I should not compare spiritual things with physical, why are u refering to consittution? He need to have break to pray for restoration. that's the prerogative of those true men of God - where did it say in the bible that spiritual leaders must step down from the altar if they commit sin? that men left the altar in the past does not mean pastor biodun should do the same. different churches operate different doctrines.

Legally, the man did not rape the young lady. Legally, the man had a consensual affair with the lady, correct. Legally he didn't drug her good.

The blitz and bling around them are created by professional brand and image professional to achieve a hypnotic effect on you. Their oratory, charisma and saleman-like flowery words are designed to awe you and indeed they have made slaves of you. I know Ese, will read this post and I wanna tell you young lady, stand firm, bend but you won't break. U are a part of a society where people have lost their rationale. I salute the fighter in you. I RESPECT you. Now, don't let that man affect your thoughts. I'm not a church-washed person but I know God is real. Still find him, unfortunately I can't show you where He is. But I know he exists.

coogar: I can't see myself engaging in an argument with you. What hurt the lady is unrepentant attitude of your man of God after the incident. How he still stand on the holy altar of God and condem Adultry whereas he is a great actor in Adultry. Be that as it may, nobody is saying the lady's act is justifiable but the pastor shouldn't be on the Alter preaching against Adultry. I must state it clearly here that we are bound to fall at anytime be you a man of god Or a woman of saint but we must own up to our calling by taking reponsibility of our actions. this is the kind of post that makes me think some nigerians have no common sense. you keep screaming about spiritual leader - is the lady not a church worker? is she not governed by the same rules as her pastor? they are both adults and they are responsible for their actions.

i have nothing to say to the pastor - he wasn't the one that came out to shout from the rooftop after the adultery. it's the lady that is blowing hot and cold. she consented to sex and she's still the one screaming about what she did. which is which? was she forced to have sëx? why can't she just move on with her life after the matter has been mediated by another pastor?
