Point is that.
Popular opinion has it that one needs to win 25% in 2/3 of the 36 states abi? And the 2/3 of 36 states is 24.
If FCT is recognized as a state then 2/3 of 37 states is 24.6 which is not a whole number.
Then it's possibly safe to say 2/3 of 36 states and FCT is 25 states and not 24 states as commonly believed.

Secondly, even if a runoff is declared, Obi isn't the runner up. That's my fear. Runoff would be between Atiku and Tinubu.

I think Awolowo claimed the 2/3 of 19 states was 13 while the court insisted it was 12 and not 13.
Going by the judgement, the 2/3 of 37 states is 24 and not 25 but then I'm even confused the more as to why it's so.

But the 2/3 of 37 states is not a whole number.
Or simply put, it's 25% of 25 states as against the popular 24 states?

But point is, non indigenes have been winning elections in Lagos before. It's got nothing to do with the emergence of Obi.
If you tie the argument to LP winning because of Obi then you're right. But generally, non indigenes have been winning elections in Lagos State under PDP most especially.

Jimoh has been contesting since 2003.
