People must realise that change is a constant. Just because some of us are used to hard cover bible ,when we see people using IPad , it looks kinda strange. Please everyone be aware that at the rate of progress in current technology in 20 years time , kids growing up today will never know there used to be any hard copy bibles. Just as some kids of today do not know that was black and white television some few years back. |

How rich have you become since you have been faithfully paying your tithe all these years...apart from the devourer being rebuked .....please show us an evidence of your systematic growth of wealth in the capacity of the preachers. 2. How many members of our Nigeria pastor churches have been quoted in Forbes as the richest in Nigeria. 3. Why is the wealth ascribed to them and not the ministry and why is thier sons and wives next in line of the inheritance? My dear Sister, I can tell u that ur husband is not in love with that woman. He is acting this way because he is very used to you. You have to give him small space....and pretend u are having an affair or engrossed in something that is eating up ur soul rather than him. Just make him feel l ike he is loosing u. It will enable him do a route recalculation quick quick. He won't trade u for that gal....Understanding wives sometimes need to use strategy, talking and fighting many times don't work. This is a very interesting post. I believe in God, infact I have been born again since my early teens. Hard as it may seem, I now choose to describe my self as a classic Christian as I refuse to debunk. science. Science I'd like to say is God's tool for man to become what He originally wanted...a being like Him. Mankind must evolve until it attains this spoken Word. ..Let us make man in our image and our likeness to dominate .....to reveal and radiate the absolute essence of godhead. Jesus came to reveal the father and he showed us an example of what mankind should be. If you study the epistle of Paul closely, this is what he tried to potray....if anyman be in Christ he is a new creation...we are a new creation. The christ conciousness simply depicts that we can attain eternity from the Christ within if not why did the scripture say the kingdom of God is whithin us.The Spirit only wants to renew our mind and then we will be able to attain endless boundries. |

My daughter was so annoying when she was three, especially when she sees guests around until one day when I decended on her. She couldnt believe it.... Now she is the cutest nicest darling anyone can imagine at 4 and we are best of friends and she has come to understand that when mummy says stop, she means it. We are in a virtual age and thesedays,, very young kids know what they are doing especially the very smart ones. some of them start this kind of misbehaviour as early as 2 and a half years, they just try to wind you up in their finger but you need to let them know who is in charge. 1 Like |

When you guys say ugly, I struggle to understand what you guys mean. Can someone describe ugly woman and beautiful woman is. Who placed these standards. The picture of the young girl placed in this this thread as ugly is a picture of a young overweight girl. With the right advice on diet and exercise she will loose that weight and look and live healthier. Did anyone ask to be born the way they are? some are born blind, others deaf, others lame. They never asked to be born that way. How your child turns out is not dependent on your wife alone. It also depends on you too. That someone does not look as fovourable as another is based on a lot of factors eg. knowledge,education, finances, association etc. We must give other people a chance. A beautiful woman with bad manners was not given adequate training while she was growing up but she will behave better if she has an understanding partner who puts her through a finishing school. A not so beautiful woman has never paid any attention on her self and she will look better if an understanding spouse puts her through a beauty school. What effort are willing to make to make your spouse a better person? Beauty is subjective. |

If a lady is turning 40 and still unmarried, my candid advice for her is to have a baby as soon as possible. With the OPs status, she can convienently cater for her child without the support of a man. If you keep on waiting, you migt not find a husband and you may also end up loosing out from having a child. ( An old parable says that one can either be a pauper or a witch beause to be a pauper and at the same time a witch will be a disastrous situation) So my dear, if the man isnt coming, get a baby before menopuase comes. |

There is no need to be tribalistic about this issue, statitics have shown that Ibo men are prone to domestic violence. I am Ibo and do not dispute this fact at all. One thing we must understand is that living abroad is not easy, especially for the woman, usually, you do not have any help and you have to do everything yourself, and if you work and your spouse is one of those egocentric men who believe, that he should just sit down watching TV while you return from work and serve his dinner and clean up after him then you are in big trouble. After serving his meal, you do the dishes, bath the kids put them to bed, you are totally exhausted and at night the man wants you to open your legs for him, like he is doing you a favour, You dont want s, e, x, you just want to sleep cos you are tired, when you complain about him helping out in the house, all you hear is ranting about how He married you and payed your bride price and how you are his property. When your salary comes in, he demands to know what you spend the money on, and if possible dictates what you use it for. after all, you are his wife(slave). You have your dreams but he will use mind games on you, and make you relinguish your dreams for the sake of the family. It is very pitiful, He expects you to worship him ,daily bowing your head to the ground to him for saving you from the life of poverty and bringing you abroad but he forgets that he married a white woman to get that paper he holds on to so dearly, If the white woman laid the same claim on him for abandoning her after getting the papers, would he not be gunned down too? After succumbing to this abuse for a period, one day, the woman is going to get really tired and would want to walk away cos she is actually getting nothing from the relationship. We need to stop all this, Traditional Ibo men must step up and realise that marriage does not mean slavery, Times have changed. 1 Like |
