this is interesting. if u say ur mechanic still has the key. do u know that it is possible for the mechanic to duplicate the key and sell the car at cheaper rate then still hold the original key(so that he will not be a suspect).Also it is possible that the car might have been tow.i want to have faith with you to believe that the car was tow.Please go to alausa or contact any LASMA office or nearest LGA where the car was and complain to them, As par reporting the mechanic to the police please don't do it because you will end up spending money. but you can report a case of stolen vehicle and if they ask who did you suspect don't mention anyone or else the police will milk you, Good luck!!!!!
