and 4 ur mind na, u r right? fyi both Manchester teams av d same points, goals for and goals against. and like he rightly said, City r topping based on alphabetical advantage but if it were to end like dat at d end of d season, a play off will take place on a neutral ground.

Some people are just too difficult to correct. City are leading due to alphabetical order

MOST EXPENSIVE GOAL KEEPER

City also nearly made history with Ederson, who joined from Benfica for a whopping €40m, but Juventus captain Gianluigi Buffon remains the most expensive goalkeeper ever - 16 years after he joined from Parma for €52m.

The Italy icon looks set to hold on to that particular title for a while yet but it only seems like a matter of time before Pogba loses his crown as the most expensive player in the world.

MOST EXPENSIVE DEFENDER

While Mendy's move to Manchester City makes him the most expensive defender of all time in British Sterling, he does not hold that title in terms of Euros, when exchange rates at the time of transfers are factored into the equation.

Indeed, for that reason, David Luiz remains the costliest defender in history given his £50m move from Chelsea to Paris Saint-Germain in 2014 actually cost the Ligue 1 outfit €62.5m

MOST EXPENSIVE TEENAGER

Sterling was 20 when he arrived at the Etihad but Anthony Martial was still only 19 when he became the most expensive teenager in history by joining City's cross-town rivals United in 2015 for €49.3m.

However, another Monaco starlet, Kylian Mbappe, would shatter that record if he were to move this summer or next, given the France forward does not turn 20 until December 2018.

MOST EXPENSIVE BRITISH PLAYER

As illustrated above, while Pogba's return to Old Trafford saw Gareth Bale slip to second in the all-time standings at the time, the Wales international remains the most expensive British player of all time, thanks to his €100.8m move to Real Madrid in 2013.

The costliest English player in history, incidentally, is Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling, who joined from Liverpool in 2015 for €69.1m.

Neymar has joined Paris Saint-Germain for €222m, putting the Brazilian at the top of the list of the most expensive players ever
Neymar has completed his move from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain for a fee of €222 m illion

As a result, the Brazilian is now the most expensive player of all time, topping Manchester United's Paul Pogba, who arrived at Old Trafford last summer from Juventus for €105m.
