1. Australian Crime Commission Big Bust, $500 million.




In 2014 the Australian Crime Commission scored a big victory over the bad guys with this 500 million dollar raid.

The task force laid the smack down on gangs, terrorist, and drug cartels that had been laundering money for a long time.

The raids took place in Sydney and in Victoria where one of their biggest drug labs was located.

2. Mexican Meth Raid, $205 million.




In 2007 US working with the Mexican authorities seized over 205 million dollars in money and drugs in one of Mexico City’s upscale neighborhoods.

This was part of a drug trade going that serviced the US, Asia, and other parts of the world.

Two of the people involved were Chinese citizens.

It just goes to show you that the drug problems truly are global in scale.

3. Columbia Cash Seizure, $50 million.




The American DEA routinely works with the Colombian police to raid known drug lords, and terrorists.

This was a big raid that the US helped with.

Part of the money, around 13 million was even found in one of the criminals homes in a china cabinet.

It’s nice to know that the DEA is working with other countries to stop the influx of drugs coming in.

4. $43 Million In Cash Found In Nigerian Apartment.



April, 2017, Nigeria's anti-graft agency seized over $43 million in cash during a raid on a Lagos apartment in what it hailed as a victory for President Muhammadu Buhari's war on corruption following a string of setbacks.


The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) said in a statement issued that it discovered the "humongous" amount of money in an apartment in Ikoyi, an upscale district of Lagos.

EFCC operatives found $43.4 million along with £27,800 ($34,807) and 23.2 million naira ($73,301) in the seventh floor apartment after a tip-off from a person who noticed "suspicious movement of bags in and out of aparticular apartment in the building."

"She comes looking haggard, with dirty clothes, but her skin didn't quite match her appearance, perhaps a disguise," said the anonymous source quoted in the EFCC statement.

The money, kept immaculate in sealed plastic wrappers, was hidden in filing cabinets and behind hidden panels in a wardrobe.

5. $24 million cash stuffed in buckets, walls in siblings home.





In 2016, a brother and sister were arrested after police seized $24 million in cash and drugs from their Miami home.


Luis Hernandez-Gonzalez, 44, and Salma Hernandez, 32, were both taken into custody after police found the huge haul of cash in their Florida property.


The money, that was believed to have been made peddling marijuana, was divided into $100 bills and stashed in orange heat-sealed buckets with Home Depot labels.


In the hidden room, there were drugs and guns.

About $20million in cash was hidden inside a box spring bed in a Massachusetts apartment during a wide-ranging investigation into an internet telecom company that was actually a massive international pyramid scheme.

The cash was found inside a Westborough apartment by investigators who had tailed a Brazilian man from New York.

Cleber Rene Rizerio Rocha, 28, was charged with conspiring to commit money laundering.

He could spend up to 20 years in prison.

7. Drug lord's $19m cash buried.



One of Colombia's top drugs lord, police found $19 million in cash under the floor boards of a house, bringing the total of his money seized to £40 million in dollars, euros and gold bars.

"We found two metal trunks buried under the floor and covered with concrete and tiles,"said Police General Oscar Naranjo.

The general is involved in a war to the death with the last of Colombia's great drug cartels, that of Norte Del Valle.

Inside the trunks were vacuum packed bricks of $100 bills totalling $19 million, the fifth such stash found in Cali over the last month.

Whilst delighted to be getting their hands on all this money the Colombian authorities want to capture its owner, one of America's most wanted men, with a $5 million bounty on his head.
