I did my court attachment in one federal high court in Nigeria. During my attachment, we had a high-profile criminal case in my court.
The accused is a well known person, I won't mention his name.
Most of these lawyers come to "have fun" in court.
They just read something they have scribbled down, and then move for adjournment.

The funniest thing is they talk so slowly to allow the judge write down what they are saying, like it's dictation.
