What was your BS.c major. was it also in environmental engineering, i think the occupation you are applying for has to tally with your BS.c major for Australia sha as they do not assess MSc, VETASS clearly stated it above; the field must be highly relevant with a relevant occupation. It is risky but you can try. Just ensure you ask properly if anyone has done and gotten positive assessment before makin any investment.
Also my brother you have Masters why not try Canada while you are hoping on this australia one.
Bros, sorry bump in this but I am also stuck in this same matter. My major is Mechanical Engineering and i don't think it relates to Occupational Health and Safety, i have NEBOSH IGC not the diploma and ISO certifications. Do i stand a chance to get positive feedback from VETASSES?

@Egwaksuno,

South Australia nominated occupational health and safety adviser. You can nominate the occupation. It is assessed by VETASSES and no CDR required.
Thanks for the tip, but won't i be at a disadvantage since my i don't have a degree in Occupational Health and Safety just NEBOSH and ISO certifications. I have a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Please help clarify.

smiley Hello everyone, I have been following this thread for days now and I'm sure i am in the right place to get the best advice on the best visa option to OZ.

I am a Mechanical Engineering graduate but have been working as an Occupational Health and Environmental Safety Professional for 6 plus years but my work environment has been around construction and oil and gas projects. I am kinda confused on what profession i am to chose for CDR that will favour me to be granted visa. I'm looking at the 189 or 190.

My wife is an accountant and we have a son.

Abeg make una show me road.
