Yes, it is valid and accepted. However try to register it in https://www.intergovernmentalmarriagereg.org/nreg/index.php

With the registration, any authority that wants to check the authenticity of your marriage, will find it there. It just like CAC but for marriage.

Please I would like to know if Local Government marriage certificate can be used for Visa Application? This is on the heels of many dissenting views on the thread and internet.

I would be glad to hear from someone who has used this local government marriage certificate for UK embassy

the debit card foreign transaction still works jor, provided its not above $300. but with GTB card, am not sure, just try ur card( Naira MasterCard or Visa card) make sure u have upto 100k in ur account, just incase plenty charges join during the exchange conversation and charges. let me knw the outcome.
