Krucifax: It'll be nice to hear him elaborate. He's probably referring to a temporary contract IT role. That's where the big bucks are as far as the UK is concerned. However on IT Jobs Watch which has a list of ALL IT Jobs permanent and temp with corresponding pay the highest daily pay is £550 or N269,500 per day at current exchange rate. So maybe he knows something we don't or maybe he's referring to an IT "business owner" in that case they can easily make far more than a £1000 a day but not a worker either on PAYE or Limited. Yea most are contracted IT roles and if you are contracting as a senior Lead or manager u can earn within tht bandwidth I previously mentioned, especially if ur lucky to bag a role wiv an investment bank or any financial institution. |

Krucifax: While I studied in London in the early 2000s I was on a salary of £12000 per annum which is about N5,800,000 today. When I graduated and had a full permanent graduate salary role a couple of years back I was then on £32,000 per annum which is over N15,000,000 per annum at today's rates. I've since moved up by "a bit".
But the lesson I took from it is that I really didn't need the degree. If i had known then what I know now i would have gone down a different path and today I'll be earning double of £32,000. It was my Naija mentality and not realising that white people put priorities on different things to us Africans "in their country ". Very true bro . . . My annual salary when I just got here (UK) was £12,000 after tax, It ddnt take me a lot of time to study the terrain and was quick to understand that Uni wasn't the way forward. I went on a professional IT course that lasted for just 3months and now I'm on £380 per day - Thats £91,200 annually. |

TheRealestGuy: Nonsense.
In a court of law the onus is on the accuser to prove his case and not on the accused to prove his innocence.
Are you an abokii? Mr Aboki Please read.... Only in sane climate like I said. *PROCEEDS OF CRIME ACT* Under the Proceeds of Crime Act (“POCA”) the Courts have wide ranging powers to confiscate assets. It allows the process of the Prosecution’s attempt at confiscation of assets. If you are considered to have a ‘criminal lifestyle’, then any assets, expenditure, and any property given or received over the last 6 years is assumed to have been met or obtained with the proceeds of criminal conduct, unless you can prove the opposite. The burden of proof is upon you, not the Prosecution. This is known as a “reverse burden” and why it is important to have specialist solicitors. You need to be able to prove that your assets (such as your home and car) have not been funded by criminal conduct, such as fraud, tax evasion or even less ‘criminal’ offences such as environmental offences. If a ‘criminal lifestyle’ cannot be shown by the Prosecution, then the confiscation is limited to the amount you actually gained in a criminal case. So I guess she's shown enough evidence tht the money wasn't proceeds from crime or judge don collect him share lolz |

Is it Buhari that will come to that courtroom to tell the judge to do the right thing? Justice Ademola was discharged and acquitted yesterday too. Sermwell: Please stop this public display of ignorance! In sane climes, it he who asserts that must prove! If you claim that the money in my bank account is stolen money, the onus is on you to prove that the money was actually stolen, and the prove must be beyond reasonable doubt! The accused need not prove anything! That's how it is in sane climates like you mentioned! Anyway na una money . . . Hahahaha make una de their de look them. Yimu |

erico2k2: Nop in a sane country the prosecutors would ha e to establish a case of fraud or corruption . Accused is to defend . Na I disagree . . . Typical case was someone who's house was busted for fraud here in the UK. Police found large cash and all kinds of expensive accessories in his house, wrist watches worth £75k upwards. Of cos wht do u think, everything was seized as proceeds of crime, its left for the defendant to prove in court what is what. |

pkang: EFCC has no evidence the money was a stolen money. They don't even know the source to the money. In a sane climate, its the accused who should be proving the source of the money not the prosecutor. Naija has a VERY LONG WAY TO GO ! ! ! |
