Abagworo: I think while playing politics it is best to avoid misinformation. Jonathan's FG neglected almost the entire federal roads in the Southeast and rather than all Igbos to unite and seek solution politicians are busy playing deceitful politics.
Dis useless man is goodluck the presidiot of Nigeria?
Ugik: that's the problem with Ndi igbo.all you have said are preposterous assumptions that you cannot back up with facts. nevertheless, suffix it to say that your last statement still boils down to what we are saying that we are not at war with eachother but instead you fail to see the bigger picture. I believe am talking to an adult so no need to insult me by alleging that I spit.funny though but I won't reply kids if that's what u are
Pls stop quoting me. U need a lot to learn to update ur igbo reasoning. . U re not making sense to we Igbos. . The afonjas will surely hail u
kITATITA: I respect the local brand. Roban Stores at Independent Layout Enugu is very nice. Try Roban Hotels at Ukwa Street, Enugu. The owner is doing great.
How are you shrimps going to survive the onslaught of Buhari and his Fulani gang against all your interests in Nigeria, when you waste the time to plot your survival on nonsensical issues?
emafa: Nah bro. I'm not asking for your sympathy. The message isn't for the "wise" like you. It's for those of us that are man enough to accept we are weak and infallible. We are looking out for each other.
emafa: Guys, be beware of this guy. He has another moniker (Christiangold). He doesn't have any source and his games aren't sure. Don't be deceived by him. Meanwhile, David be rest assured karma is a hitch. be warned!!!!
Abeg go and sit down several places. Mtchewwww. . 2016 u still fall for online scam. Wat re we supposed to do for u?, pity u? . No. Dude i dey shame for u
Chukzyfcb: he couldn't penetrate the market, had 6billion worth of goods unsold and yet he was looking for more forex to import more goods. it was obvious the tomato importers are just way competitive in the business. too bad
If you have ever done business. You will understand the cost of production increases wen you operate below capacity whicg means his product is way expensive.....
Think rational mr. Abi he still do propaganda with gis business.... Wat stopped him from leaving since 2009 he set up. Is it coincidence he decided to leave under apc.
Ok wat about the land he returned in kastina because he couldn't secure forex to push it... I dey shame for ur zone b ism
Ugik: what makes him politically irrelevant outside his state?someone who is the chairman of APC governors forum.how does that translate to irrelevance? someone who has a traditional title with the sokoto caliphate is irrelevant?someone who was part of the presidential entourage to see Obama is irrelevant? I don't want to hold brief for Rochas cos I know in IMO,it hasn't been all rosy for him but the underlying point is that he has carved a niche for himself political wise and this niche encompass the whole of our polity and that is what Ndi igbo should be doing and not been abysmal when they can simply politick issues. If your only example of Rocha's irrelevance is the ambassadorial list issue, that is an internal wrangling that affected the entire APC governors of which Rochas is the one mediating on the issue and that is a true definition of national relevance.
Pls stop splashing me with. Spits. I dont ve umbrella...
Met wit obama... Ve title wit sokoto caliphate. ( sure he is okoroawusa)
Chairman apc governors forum.. (dude only governor el rufai ve direct access to. Buhari..
Dude couldn't get his state somehow to spend the 30 billion dollars. Whooping 30 billion dollars and nothing for his state. . So much for politicking. .
How come we in the opposition party Apga here in anambra have it better dan imo state. .
Anambra is politically ignorant but ahead of Imo in all indices of development
Abagworo: The campaign of calumny against Okorocha started right from 2012 and contrary to the crap you wrote up there he will win any election in Imo State today by even a wider margin. No Governor in history of Igboland has done as much for his State as Okorocha but the war is beyond his successes in governance. The war has 2 angles.
1 is the fact that his emergence through the masses killed political gidfatherism in Imo State making him a new godfather without a godfather which has not gone down well with the political elite in Imo State. They merged all their resources coupled with Jonathan's influence on INEC and security agencies to oust him in 2015 but he defeated them bringing about another level of bitterness and frustration. The views of their supporters like the Akwarandus and some Mbaise people, Udenwa people, Agbaso people and Iwuanyanwu people doesn't represent the view of the masses. These people are in control of Vanguard newspaper and have been using same to publish false stories while their boys go on social media to comment not the real Imolites.
2 is the Anambra factor. As a result of earlier prominent Igbo politicians coming from the area that presently constitute Anambra State they erroneously concluded that they would continue to dominate Igbo politics but the emergence of 1st Orji Kalu and then Okorocha has battered that belief and with it came jealousy. Okorocha's popularity made him clash severally with Peter Obi when they were both in APGA and in several occasions made Anambra politicians pitch a tent opposite if wherever Rochas Okorocha goes. On this Nairaland 99% of those that specialise in attacking Okorocha are from Anambra.
3 Biafra factor in that radio Biafra was used as a tool by jealous politicians to broadcast ridiculous lies against Okorocha banking on the sentiments of Igbos wih regards to Biafra. Some people believe sheepishly that Rochas Okorocha is the one preventing them from having their Biafra.
In conclusion Rochas Okorocha is loved in Imo State, Abia State and Ebonyi State except for the radio Biafra brainwashed ones while Anambra hates him. Here in Rivers State he is by far the most loved Igbo governor and same in Bayelsa.
Simply waiting for chinolization to let u kno say everything u tyoed up here na lie. .
ThumbzTNA: Life, not just Politics is about taking advantage of opportunities. If you love Ndigbo like you claim, you would be thinking of creative solutions to achieve our goals.
Who do we kill before you. Recognize we re creative by seeking Biafra. . Dats creative. .
omofunaab: Lol... Na so dem dey do. ..one is even using bank deposits in anambra as a yardstick for economic growth forgetting the standard of living in anambra
Afonja hypocrisy is epic. . We cant use bank deposit as yardstick?
But its safe to use figment of op's imagination...
The worst president Igbo will produce is better than the best president the North can produce. Rochas building mosque in the North is merely a political move. During the campaign period of PMB, Hausa elites were trooping into the west and attending all sort of owambe parties as a ploy to give Yoruba that feeling of 'we are together', after election, you see how Yoruba are being treated like slaves.
They say we can't play politics. Let's prove them wrong. The worst president Igbo will produce is better than the best president the North can produce.
Opportunists always want to take advantage of every situation. But we all see y'll for who u re. You want to prove who wrong.? What made you think we care about wat some afonja and Northern guys think?

90xtr09r: 1* “We do not want our Southern neighbours to interfere in our development. We have never associated ourselves with the activities of these people. We do not know them, we do not recognize them, and we share no responsibility in their actions. We shall demand our rights when the time is ripe. If the British quit Nigeria now at this stage, the Northern people would continue their uninterrupted conquest to the sea”. - Sir Tafawa Balewa (1947)
2* “We the people of the North will continue our stated intention to conquer the South and to dip the Koran in the Atlantic ocean after the British leave our shores.” - Sir Ahmadu Bello (1957)
3* "The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great grand father, Othman Danfodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We must use minorities in the North as willing tools and South as conquered territories and never allow them to rule over us or have control over their future" - Sir Ahmadu Bello, October 12, 1960
Ahmadu Bello, arrogantly uttered the aforementioned statement in a multicultural and multi-religious country and got away with it, and many bigots still hold him in high esteem and even shove it down the throats of other people.
5*...barely six months after independence, Sir Ahmadu Bello was able to say with confidence in the Daily Times of May 3, 1961, the following: “I’m set and fully armed, to conquer the Action Group, AG, in the same ruthless manner as my grandfather conquered Alkalawa, a town in Sokoto province, during the last century.”
6*...sometime in 2010, when upon the demise of President Umaru Y'Ardua, indications emerged that his erstwhile deputy, President Goodluck Jonathan, may contest the 2011 presidential election, a prominent chieftain of this same ACF, Lawal Kaita, who was a former Governor of old Kaduna State, threatened that the North would make Nigeria ungovernable, should Jonathan or anyone from the South win the 2011 presidential election, claiming that such would amount to denying the North it's birthright of ruling Nigeria.
7* It is in the same North barbaric statements like this were uttered in 2011: ”BABOON AND DOG WILL BE SOAKED IN BLOOD”. And what was the outcome - carnage and murder of many Southerners and Christians in the North, including many Youth Corps members when Buhari lost the 2011 presidential election?
8* That true to that threat, upon the victory of Jonathan from the 2011 presidential election, massive violence was unleashed from the North by a group which called itself Boko Haram and which repeatedly took responsibility for unending mayhem which began with the killing of Youth Corp members who worked ad-hoc for INEC in that election.
9* As the barbaric killings and destructions reigned, especially with the attack by Boko Haram on the UN Building and Force Headquarters in Abuja, the Lower Niger Congress publicly posited that the nexus between the aforementioned threat by ACF's, Lawal Kaita and the Boko Haram's bloody campaigns summarily destroyed any prospects for keeping the Nigeria Union.
10* "It was, therefore, no surprise that in October 2013, following the bold announcement by President Jonathan, presenting the sudden prospect of revisiting the master-servant constitutional arrangements of Nigeria infuriated the warmongering born-to-rule Caliphate whose cause was championed by the same ACF, and who, supported by their allies from the renegade wing of the Yoruba Southwest, launched a vicious, frontal attack on the initiative, teaming on the floor of the Conference into a majority, and driving the Conference into its first major decision, i.e. NOT TO DISCUSS THE TERMS OF NIGERIA'S UNITY. The rest of the Conference was a jamboree that provided a luxurious platform for the North/SW Alliance, parading itself as a new political party named APC, to fine-tune their violent March to the do-or-die 2015 general elections."
11* Oba of Lagos Threat on Igbos Over 2015 Governorship
I'd say forgive his ignorance. But on second thought it is not ignorance. He is here on nairaland. . He dey see d hatred korokoro. I think its stupidity
Ugik: I stand to say that those calling for Gov Okorochas head boils down to the level of political ignorance among my southeast brothers which is quite alarming. suffix it to say that for Ndi igbo to attain full political recognition among the various entities that make up this polity called Nigeria is going to be a Herculean task due to 2 basic reasons: 1.considering the supposed marginalization we have been lamenting since after the Nigerian Biafra war of 1967 and the abysmal gap it has created between us and other zones in the country. This singular act which is is politically valid as politics is a game of who gets what but in the process of making demands we end up antagonizing other regions who do not share our views instead of dialoging and politicking as our representatives do,we the masses instead throw insults at them or at our fellow regional brothers thus bringing us back to square one.The likes of Ngige,Onu,Rocha's and the DSP,Ekweremadu are all fighting for our general wellbeing but like I said earlier all we do is insult them all.Must they be in the same party? Is their primary aim not to bring development to this region using their good offices?
2.The Biafra connection: Secession is recognized globally as a right of people to self rule.its also recognized in the UN Charter and I have no objections to it but I must also point out that if a referendum is conducted,I'll gladly vote against it.Many of us(not all of us)want to secede. Good and fine. how do you go about it?by throwing jabs at other regions who have reps at The Senate, the very Senate that can amend law to accommodate our proposal. isn't it funny we are yet to understand the rudiments of politics. do we achieve our aim by throwing insults at our political leaders who have the mandate of majority? or by insulting world leaders who played a role in the defeat of the secession and who will still play a role in any event that will unfold but their role will be determined by the political calculations they make based on what those who want to secede brings on the table. They helped Egypt,Libya, south Sudan and Israel.
Where do we go from here? Ndi igbo, most especially the youths must imbibe developmental politics, its high time we spread tentacles and offer an olive branch to. the regions we are at logger heads with..we must understand our differences and address it.We must support our leaders irrespective of political divide and quit all these blame games.Partisan politics and ethnic politics is not favouring us and will not.we can engage in partisan politics during elections but after elections, support our political leaders irrespective of political divide. with development politics, other regions may help foster a referendum on this issue of referendum, friendship will spread overboard. That's why those calling for Okorochas head because he wore a northern regalia are simply not in touch with reality.am not holding brief for him or APC because i dont know how well he is doing in Imo State but I love how he is spreading his political tentacles which is what Ndi Igbo needs now and not our usual politics of ethnicity where the various eastern states insult themselves. Together We can all speak with one voice.
