My name is Nonso from Anambra state. I, as a matter of fact, sat for this year's JAMB UTME with the aspiration to study Elect-Elect in UNIPORT. Yesterday, the 2nd of March, I'd completed my exams and after a long wait I got what I consider the biggest shock I'd ever received in the history of examinations. JAMB released my results as thus; Use of English - 60, Maths - 58, Physics - 75 and Chemistry - 67 Aggregate:260

If I'm not certain about others, I can swear it that I would never score below 90% in any Maths exam. I've gotten so acquainted with Mathematics that it has become my life and almost my everything. I don't know how JAMB marking scheme is like but if common sense is anything to go by, each questions should carry 2 marks. I practised the past questions and the least score I'd ever gotten in any test within a time interval of 50 minutes was 45/50 and I'm even so sensitive to errors on the past questions that I could easily spot one at anytime. What I can't seem to figure my head around is how JAMB do come about with this dubious marking system. Why must I be punished for an unfounded suspicion? I protest this result and I challenge the organization called JAMB to summon me anywhere, anytime and I'll prove that this score I was awarded with is a scam. My target to score 320 or above that can't be relinquished in this manner without a protest.

Free jamb, I think they are doing some favouritism, I scored 268 this year but expected far higher, some are scoring 270's, 280's and I did my exam far better than them

I sincerely think its rubbish for jamb to add 40 marks.. Is better for dem to reschedule d exam.

you are right, the addition of forty is rubbish to me, even with the addition, I'm not ok with it

Typing with tears rolling down my eyes...concerning the way educational sector is ongoing in Nigeria. I just cant understand why admission process this year is very difficult.
I passed my UTME and POST UTME but can't just understand why uniben has decided to deny me admission. I can't just bear the pains seeing those that scored same score with me being admitted. What will I call this?
I just can't understand. There are so many students out there with same story with me, they are very hurt, crying everyday.
It has gotten to the level whereby if you don't do shady runs, you can't be admitted into any institution, which ought not to be so.
Students, whose parents are not financially balanced, what do you expect them to do? How can institutions produce first class graduates now when getting admission is runz, no privilege for the intelligent ones to be in school.
Because now that admission process is like this, it is now difficult for students to be serious in their academics when they know without studying hard they will definitely block their way through which is not good.
Please all institutions, change from this Act! Do you know how many students get traumatized because of this Act each year?
Please stop this Act! When students pass your post UTME, give them admission.
Uniben please reconsider those of us that score from 50 upwards. it's not easy passing both UTME and Post UTME. Please you guys should upload another list.
Speaking from the affected students minds.... Something has to be done.
We will highly appreciate it if you help us publish it, because we are not rich enough to sue them....
