DXY is bullish, XAUUSD/EU/GU all bearish

Then input that 2 factors authentication in your strategy, by using 2 or 3 trend pattern simultaneously as confluences.

If you're consistent with trading prop firm accounts, you'll be consistent in growing your personal account long term, because you'll be disciplined enough on risk management.

But then, everyone with their own opinion.
