Though no longer active as I used to be

There's a lot less informative posts here and I wish more can be done to encourage as well as revive quality content.

Having grown my brand on different platforms, I owe Nairaland this which I do hope will be the first of many series.

Do I continue with this profile or create another for this project ? Only Time will tell



So, now straight to the point


A lot of nigerians are dying daily and it's so easy to blame the economy, hardship, FG, APC etc

Burial announcements no longer sound as breaking news, people move on very quickly

We don't do autopsies as routine hence we don't know the major causes of Death.


People are not living till 70s anymore


Men are dying in majority, more because of the hustle mentality



The most common reasons for these deaths are Diseases with 'trackable numbers'

Top 2 remains

1. Hypertension ( High blood pressure)

2. Diabetes (High blood sugar)


Annual check ups are rare and unaffordable for majority, but these 2 basics don't cost much


It's all down to regular checks


Health Promotion and awareness is now very important

As adults, we also have huge responsibility in daily habits - especially eating, drinking and rest.



Major culprits: Food, Drink and Sleep


The body is not a machine
