Flatshare is the way to go ..... Rents are crazy unrealistic .

Business / Best Way To Neutralise Scams - The Escrow Option by Ekitibiased(m): 10:09pm On Dec 27, 2023
In this ever-increasing era of digital engagement and numerous online sales with E-Commerce, Many people are still held back from negative experiences of previous discouraging encounters. Trust issues also clearly exist and in current times and of course a good number of individuals have reasons to be pessimistic no doubts.

Recently I needed to purchase $420 at black market rates in Surulere, Lagos. My initial point of contact did not have the expected sum in total, so i had to move a little distant further to purchase the needed amount but then being a first encounter for such amount of US dollar, the BDC took me to the POS operator nearby and was clear that he had to take that option as it was my first time dealing with him. He went further to explain that he was duped of $10,000 with fake transfer - it was shocking to hear that.

On my own part, the dollars I was to purchase was not mine but actually for a candidate I tutored for several months for an international exam. Registration for the Exam via this process was quite unfamiliar to me but then I really had to get involved. I made a transfer of #370,000 with a further charge of #2, 500 to the POS operator, got the dollar and later on the BDC received his money from the POS operator.
Afterwards i made the deposit into my dollar card and made the payment online.

Please note that the owner of the money.....total sum is someone i have never met in person. To be honest, this was not new to me no doubt. This is something i started years back being an international student.

It's the role of an Escrow - based on trust and integrity. I would love to do this more often, there is more value in a service than in a product sale.
I am a medical professional - Trust is embedded in my profession all year round.

Compliments of the season

DROPSHIPPING BUSINESS

What is Dropshipping ?

It is a business model set up with ease and convenience for selling items/product/service with convenience via E-Commerce.

The seller sells items that are never in his/her stock, as well as items never seen or handled. Seller only identifies where to buy cheaper as well as where to sell higher to achieve higher margins of profit.

In simple terms – a seller only needs a device with internet connection, knowledge on product choice, astuteness, anticipation, business sense. What’s the big deal about this – Huge potential for Profit, very little margin for loss which is so unusual (it’s so because you are not stocking products to sell).

A dropshipper is literally making a purchase for a buyer who does not know where products are cheap.

Is that all? Anything else to know?
What to sell?
Where to sell?
How to sell?

I thought I would do well and tried my luck, but nothing happened until I had a personal coach.

Yes on my own I tried hard with little information I got but for 6 months no sales at all, and then with Personal coaching I went to bed and woke up to orders already waiting to my big surprise.

Mentorship is a game changer, it’s a lifetime opportunity.

Furthermore, you still stand a chance even with ZERO capital.

Even if you don’t want to dropship – the end goal still is to make money selling online which is still very much achievable with the knowledge of Dropshipping.

All too surprising isn’t it but it’s very REAL and very possible in any country and even right here in NIGERIA.

There is legitimate money ONLINE – My personal experience (No capping)

Career / Make A Living With A Side Hustle by Ekitibiased(m): 1:04pm On Dec 11, 2023
Hello everyone, the year is rounding up

One of the major lessons for me was growing a side hustle and investing time and efforts into it. Side hustle literally sustained me alone at some point tbh. Multiple streams of income are a necessity with current realities. I have learnt not to have high expectations regarding salaries, and till date I don't really know what to say is a good salary.

I am not a civil servant with the luxury of time and freedom as is mostly the case for anyone with a side hustle. My colleagues are literally working 'crazy' hours - from one 'H' to another to make more money. My approach is rather unusual - it's always been my thing to do things differently

I have had big breakthroughs in E-commerce, yeah beyond the shores of Nigeria, sold on Amazon and Ebay, significant profits and now I have explored a lot more further than that. Literally, I have become a serial entrepreneur even to my surprise. My major side hustle for the year was Teaching an Exam i passed since 3 years ago. 2023 is to be the year i set out to make an income from every possible skill i have.

My E-commerce experience was majorly Dropshipping - selling items I barely ever saw physically,I only knew platforms with items selling cheaper and of course also knowing another platform where lots of people 'trusted' to buy from which of course was the more expensive option where i sold. Still hoping to earn something from my writing and proofreading skills remotely. It's been a mentally-tasking year.

What do i do ? I am a full-time medical doctor, my skills are further beyond the hospital and the patient - my personality is suited for this in my opinion as i really enjoy it tbh. I just don't expect financial rewards from it per sey (if i was expecting in such manner - the outcome would have been frustration), but surely goodwill comes from this job.

I hope this piece encourages a few people to put their skills and knowledge to the fore. There is legitimate money online(I have personally experienced it) and I continue to pursue it.I am a hustler in my freetime when awake, Time truly is money. I am an introverted deep-thinker and analyst. The value of whatever skill and knowledge you have is relative, it's value might just be dependent majorly on who needs it, your location, packaging etc also matter though.

It's easier to make a profit offering a service than buying and selling. Nigeria needs more entrepreneurs, it's the bitter reality of today's present situation. Not everybody can Japa and believe it or not - some will never even think of it for a second, Abroad is a ratrace. I have lived abroad for 8 years. I lived in the UK for 2 years as well, living abroad is suited for couple goals (perfectly suited for a couple achieve set goals ealier). My experience abroad is a long story - that is my skill for Immigration adviser/consultant etc. Japa must be with a PLAN as i would advise anyone.

Nigerians abroad are more desperate for the business opportunities back home, but Nigerians at home complain that there is nothing within.
LEKKI is a part of Lagos where people live abroad life right here with Naija vibes.

Real Estate is a very different goldmine (I have a profitable business idea in that sector).

Enjoy the pictures below smiley smiley
