However, it's quite obvious that his CV looks very scanty for the exalted position and as such, MUST have been politically made possible by Dave Umahi the minister of works. His leadership experience within the university isn't encouraging to have merited the exalted position of a VC.
No where was it mentioned that he had been HOD, Dean nor DVC. So, something is obviously fishy
somewhere and we must be frank about it.
Say what you know, this man fell out with Umahi and resigned as the SSG during Umahi's tenure as Governor, till date Odoh and Umahi are not best of friends.

Obviously, Hope Uzodinma nominated the Pro-chancellor while Umahi nominated the VC. That's how badly the two APC bigwigs in southeast have politicised nearly every federal government appointment.
Education, health and sports affairs shouldn't be allowed to be politically driven else, we make nonsense of whatever that is left of this nation called Nigeria.

Say what you know, this man resigned as the SSG during Umahi's tenure as Governor, he contested against Umahi's preferred candidate under APGA during the last election and came distant third, he fell out with Umahi since 2019, Odoh and Umahi are not best of friends.

We are all looking at the Federal govt but the states need to be saved from mismanagement

Currently all the rural roads in Ebonyi state has been awarded, pension arrears were paid by this Governor from 1999 till date. Go and verify.

Section 109(1)(g) of the Constitution provides that if any member of the House of Assembly leaves the political party that sponsored him during the election to another political party, such member of the House of Assembly automatically lose his seat, it is a constitutional provision. Defection from one's political party to another is only permitted on the grounds of division or brouhaha in the political party.
