emmanuel4fire: Mr, it might affect you. Last year when I was still serving I had similar issues and had to call more than two officers. They told me not to apply and that I should wait patiently till I get my NYSC certificate this year. All the same give a try. With God all things are possible.

General oluseye: it is the ssc.this is because u re taught the rudiments of warfare and every other things that NDA guys re taught.the former NYSC director tsiga was an ssc guy,bamaiyi during the abacha regime was an ssc guy including some of the presently serving G.O.C"s.dssc is difficult in that age may not be on ur side because they require u to be btw 22-35 yrs while ssc is 24-28 yrs.most of the courses advertised in dssc re done in NDA with the exeption of doctors who easily converts and can even become directors of medical services,nigerian army withthe rank of major general.
