Tnx! Let me try it out okeys112: Go to Settings ----> Scroll down settings to "Security & Privacy " and enter that -------> scroll to "security Wipe" ------> follow the instructions - type "blackberry" in d space provided.
Sit back n watch ur Q5 reset itself. It could take some time. Just leave it until it is done. Once it is done, phone will go off.
Power it on, and start the set up all over again.
Adios! |

Thanks for this expose! It will go a long zeelo2014: Even if the DD is available, I'll advise u to use GTbank cc. I used cc and I've received PER. For those using cc, just ensure ur card is not expiring soon and maintain a minimum of 86k at all time, then look for a safe place and drop the card, cos if the card gets trapped in another ATM, the new CBN directive to banks is to crush every trapped ATM card and also to avoid misplacing ur card. Before submitting ur application take an extra day to just go through all ur forms and documents, better to submit later than to get the app rejected cos of a little error. solomonwis, nice one. keep it up Goodluck |

I use etisalat and there is enough MB cos I can access other sites but not with my default browser. Fb, twitter and Linkedin are doing just fine okeys112: What Mobile Network are you using for your Q5 BIS?!
If it is Glo, may be it is a Network fluctuation issue ( since u mentioned it affects ur BBM, BlackBerry World, and Web Browser).
Better still, U can delete the BBM, head to BlackBerry World to download a fresh BBM.
Check u still v data on ur BIS subscription. |

ferdimako: Old boy, u dey study anything at all? He want everything served! Make we assist am na. tayoamos: thanks brother orebiyi, having known that i have to send the notorised copy of my MBBS certificate, do i have to scan and send it by e mail or i have to send it parcel by DHL or Courrier ALso, verification of the MBBS certificate cost 145 dollars, do i also have to pay for the verification on the datapage of my passport and that of the other documents i will be sending wit the notorised MBBS certificate? You pay for only the MBBS certificate you are verifying. The copy of your passport data page you won't pay for that. Don't forget to add the cover letter for the passport, your MBBS certificate and Confirmation of Identity page when sending your document. By the way, you send the documents via courier services and not email. @Amos I will strongly advice that you read the mcc website and physiciansapply.ca website then read this thread for proper understanding. |

tayoamos: thanks alot and pls who can notorise for me ? a lawyer? pls is your e mail a yahoo or hotmail address? A lawyer can do that not necessarily a notary public. When you open an account on the physiciansapply.ca website and request for a SVR, some downloadable pdf files will open. These are what you download, fill and duly signed by a lawyer or notary public. Thereafter, you send them with copies of your passport data page and certificate to MCC office in Ottawa, Canada. To register in the Physiciansapply.ca website is about $240 and to verify your document, each document to be verified cost $145. To request for an ECA, it will cost you $98. Do the maths. This is aside courier services and other miscellaneous expenses. |

orebiyioladapo: You can possibly meet the deadline. Check www.physiciansapply.ca You start by opening an account with physicians apply, paying the prescribed fee with a mastercard. You would have to download some forms with which you would send notarised copy of your international passport, degree certificate or transcript, then your passport photograph. You would initiate a source verification request from your account, pay their fees and send your documents. when they receive it they would asses it if acceptable they would send to ecfmg their contractor experienced in international credential verification services. ecfmg would then send it to the provost of your college of medicine who will confirm the authenticity of your certificate, note ecfmg has a data base and signatures of all provost of colleges of medicine in nigeria. Once your provost verifies it is sent back to ecfmg , they would then informm mcc that your cert. is genuine, you wolud the request for and eca report after paying the prescribed fees. For africa in theory tjis takes 109 days. The trick is this, once you initiate the process keep at tab on the secretary to the provost so you can be informed once ecfmg sends your certificate for verification. Once it is sent pay the neccessary fees and drop enough money for it to be sent back by courier, ecfmg would send a postage paid envelope it might take forever to get back to ecfmg. I think not sure anyway you can pay for couriet to pick up your documents from ecfmg to your provost, cant really remember now. If you start the process and go to sleep it might take 12 months, follow up closely is the key. If you graduated from oouth I can give you a link. When you get to the physiciansapply.ca page click on the login tab, then click on create account link then take itfrom thete. God bless you! You just said it all. @tayoamos do the needful and keep tab on your application. No harm in trying. @Oladapo are you done with your SVR? |

solomonwis: I owe it to prospective applicants this obligation to bring information that are considered important in ensuring a stress/struggle free application.
Regarding the inclusion of transcripts in the application for FSWP,let me make the following submission:
1. The checklist states Under Proof of Education that "To receive point for education, you must provide proof that you have completed a Canadian Secondary or post-secondary educational program OR submit an original ECA report along with proof of the foreign educational credential(s) for which you are claiming points.."
The instruction went further to state.." Proof of your completed Canadian or foreign educational credentials can include copies of: (a)secondary or post-secondary education documents (certificates, diplomas or degrees) (b) transcripts for successfully completed secondary or post-secondary studies,if available
It is therefore important for prospective applicants not to throw caution in the wind...CIC has got nothing to lose but the applicants.
2. What does it cost to include copies of transcripts if it cost a whole lot to carry out an assessment of educational credentials? To my mind,it cost next to nothing..so why not include it in the application?
3.If the transcripts are not available (as I understand some educational institutions don't issue out student copies),why not include a cover letter as to why the transcripts are not available? Again, this also cost absolutely nothing! It is to guard against any reason for rejection...
I would rather include my transcripts and be free from anxiety than not include it and begin to think if one has done the right thing..
To cap it all up, here is a reason for which an application was rejected recently: "...Incomplete Application, educational documents not submitted with ECA..."
Some people might have scaled the hurdle not including their proof of completed educational qualification(s) along with their ECA result,it doesn't make it absolutely right...
It is better to err on the side of caution Yes! We are on same page. I am not trying to dissuade prospective applicants from sending their transcript along side their application. Just that if it is not available, they can go ahead to continue their application. However, the suggestion you gave of a cover letter will still fly. |

solomonwis: I stressed that because I have seen quite a number of people make that mistake (and yes, I have seen an application returned simply because the applicant assumed ECA result covers your educational qualification, especially your certificate). This is a wrong notion.
You might want to read more (carefully this time)using the checklist attached here as a guide http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5612E.pdf
(List number 13 on the checklist specifically mentioned what you claim to be "unnecessary" . The checklist stated "IF AVAILABLE" as regard transcript. Certainly, copies of the certificates will be sent. |
Travel › Re: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Ekpekus1: 9:52pm On Aug 20, 2014 |
solomonwis: When applying for FSWP (after you must have obtained your ECA result),you will need both copies of your educational certificate as well as copies of your transcripts. You should make effort to obtain a student copy of your transcripts. Transcript is not one of the required documents for 2014/15 FSWP. The checklist prove thus. So transcript ain't needed as the ECA would have covered that. |

solomonwis: The 1,000 cap limit is the maximum that can be accepted (out of the 25,000) for each eligible occupation. It therefore means that some occupations might not reach their cap limit while some others will do before the total maximum complete applications received.
Let me paint a simple scenario,If out of the 25,000 maximum to be accepted, 1,000 people applied for 1111 (Financial Auditors & Accountants) and only 400 applied for 0113 (Purchasing Managers) and the total application received has reached 25,000.There will be no more intake as the maximum for the year has been reached (not minding the fact that Occupation 0113 (Purchasing Manager) has only 400 applications.
As regards the (0) and the (-) in some occupations,I believe they both mean the same thing. That might just be some programming error (This is my opinion). It means no (complete) application has been received yet. If that's the case, then some "hotcake" profession may actually reduce the space of others especially Medics whose verification process takes at least 105 days for those from this region. Na wah for this FSWP. I actually never took the 50 professions/1000 caps/ 25000 needed applicants into cognizance. Thanks for highlight same here |
