damkollins: Well answered by solomomwise already .
Accra visa office is still clearing FSW2011/2012 backlogs and so have not responded to any of the FSW 2013/2014 applicants or so it seems.....from evidence that we have on hand.We truly wish and hope they will start attending to us before the end of the year.
For now......we are on queue.
Cheers
.
Tnx Boss! FSW 2013/2014 never start? Why the delay sef? And they are projecting 2015 express in January. I just pray they speed up the processing. Accra office is just allotted 4 countries if I am not mistaken. I just wonder what can be the result of their snail-speed work. huh

solomonwis: Everything is stalled for now in Accra....I am working on some alternatives though (and there are positives responses already).
That's good to know! Wish you all the best. Though I am still at lost why the Accra office will take donkey years for vis processing. Another thing that beats my imagination is why is there no Canadian visa processing office in Nigeria? A million dollar question I guess.

solomonwis: Though addressed to @damkollins,let me help out.

You will be informed at every stage of the application process to get in touch with your immigration office (visa office) should there be any change in your family composition (or any other change) that may impact on your application. This will not affect your chance in any way.It canonly affect you when you withhold the information until the last minute.
Thank you so much for the response as this helped. @Solomonwis just a little personal question if u don't mind. How is your application coming up? I believe you applied last year? Any news from VO in Ghana?
TravelRe: Canadian Federal Skilled Worker Program-timelines Here by Ekpekus1: 12:49pm On Aug 17, 2014
Hello Damkollin.

Please I need some clarification as regarding application. If a person applied as single and later got married as the application is been processed. What then can the person do?
Will it affect that person's chance?

gogochocolate: My application reached on the 13th of May. I was charged on the 11th of August from GTB alert. I learnt they is normally a day delay between when CIC charges my account and bank notification. I hope I am right my seniors. I used the UCI stated on my returned application from last year
Was your application for 2014/2015 FSWP?

Let peace reign supreme in this thread. The essence of the thread is to help each other. Therefore, since everyone is entitled to their own opinion, howbeit, it shouldn't mislead others or set a dangerous precedence for tomorrow's applicants.
I urge the warring parties to sheath their sword and let decorum be maintained here. It will be for the good of all.

Finally, we can correct each other in a manner that when the reverse is the case, we won't hold grudge.

Tnx

Well said!

Tranquill: Anyone can write anything on nairaland. CIC can not and WILL NOT contact the bank directly to know how much you have in your account. Banks can not give your account information to a third party. Even if you are under criminal investigation, any government agency that want to access your account must have a court warrant/order be it CIA, FBI etc. What CIC can do apart from requesting that u submit an updated proof of fund, is to take the statement of account to the bank to verify its authenticity.

CIC are not foolish to base their verification of ur work experience on what they read on linkedin, facebook etc. where people can post whatever they like. Go to other forums and see other people that have got medical and passport request and see how many people got their banks contacted directly or had refusal based on linkedin.

When we read some stuffs we should also be able to use our head.
HealthRe: FG Should Stop Doctors From Establishing Private Clinics by Ekpekus1: 7:23am On Jul 23, 2014
The Government owned hospital can't meet the health need of our teeming population. Even with the available private clinics, the health needs are still not met yet someone is screaming for these to be scrapped. Even in advance clime, private practice thrives.

Have you ever wondered, why it is now be encouraged to even train traditional birth attendants? Singularly so shed the burden of the workload especially in rural communities.

These people shouldn't allow hate becloud their sense of reasoning.

honey86: I filled my form and finger-printed at state cid in ibadan. They took it to lagos and I collected a week later. Just visit the state cid headquarter in your state
Tnx a lot as this will save me all the stress. I read it on cic website that Lagos is the designated centre however for those non-resident, what you just described above sufficed.
honey86: No, go to your state cid office, thy will take your finger print and have it sent to lagos, then give you a date to come for it.

unibadan: Hello my fellow Nairalanders,

While i await my credential evaluation from ICAS, which is the only document left, i would like to as if possible for me to apply without including my wife and children. The required information will be supplied, but while paying the application fee, i am going to pay as principal applicant only without paying for my wife and children. When settled, i can then apply for them under family sponsorship.

Kindly help or advice on this my option.

I am considering this option due to financial constraint as it is required that proof of funds must cover your family immigrating with you.

Thank you.
I am very much interested in the reply of the above question. So, gurus in da house, pls respond to this!
Thanks
