I dont know about Tacha but when it was Thelma’s turn to sing, she waited for Mercy’s verse to be over cuz Mercy had been disqualified. She wanted the instrumental to rhyme with her verse so she didn’t want to jump in. She eventually sang her part but I guess Biggie thought she was trying to remember the lyrics.

I always thought she just liked to hang out with the guys and feel like the “guy’s girl”. She was friends with almost all of them and could hold a conversation, asides all this boyfriend/girlfriend talk. And she confirmed that she used to be a tomboy too.
