The Imo State Government has vowed to recover all government lands that were illegally acquired by individuals or organizations.

The government has set up a committee to identify and recover these lands, which were allegedly taken by past administrations.

Some of the individuals affected by the recovery include former governor Rochas Okorocha and his in-laws, as well as others who allegedly acquired government lands illegally.

The government has also ordered the revocation of all lands that were illegally acquired and has directed the commissioner to query the IMSU VC over alleged infractions.

The chairman of the actors guild of Nigeria, Mr Emekarollas has just published a rejoinder on his instagram page to clarify the misconception that Actress mercy Johnson was in the same ill-fated boat the took the life of their member Jnr pope, in the statement the rejoinder read;

Rejoinder….”NO MERCY JOHNSON WAS NOT IN THE BOAT”

Our attention has just been drawn to a disturbing and shocking Mis-interpretation of statement of ordeal revealed by one of the survivors of the Asaba boat mishap which claimed the lives of Jnr Pope and four other crew members recently.

The revelation was made by Thank God Ikoma during a thanksgiving service in a church recently where he mentioned that one Emeka Mercy Johnson who had served as a PA Actress Mercy Johnson in the past and always referred to as Emeka Mercy Johnson apparently as her sobriquet.

We vehemently condemn the bloggers this malicious mis-interpretation of the statement and urge our members, the general public and fans of Mercy Johnson to ignore the social media news as it is utterly false, baseless, unfounded and idiotic as Mercy Johnson was NOT on the ill-fated boat.

The mis-interpretation of the revelation was nothing but imagination of the blogger who could have been high on some substances.

Please, ignore and disregard the statement and which was calculated attempt to malign, smear and tarnish the good name, image and reputation of Mercy Johnson.

Senator Rufai Hanga, representing Kano Central Senatorial District, donated 5,000 pieces of white fabric and clay pots to his constituents.

The donation is reportedly intended to help with the burial process for loved ones, in response to the frequent requests for burial assistance from constituents.

Premium Times reports that Dawuud Auwal, one of Hanga’s social media aides, announced the donations on Facebook. However, www.ekwutosblog.com was unable to locate the specific post.

In the meeting, Governor UZODINMA said “Over the years, my administration has diligently invested in the health sector, implementing reforms aimed at providing quality healthcare services to our people, and during the discussion, I emphasized our commitment to ensuring easy access to healthcare for ndi Imo, particularly our women, with the goal of reducing mortality rates.
