Mourinho Must Look at
Himself first before throwing
the darts By Soibi Ransom

JANUARY 12, 2018 / DAILYMEMOIRSNEWS
By Soibi Ransom
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho
has been in a frenzy mood recently most
notably for his public spat with Chelsea
manager Antonio Conte
The pair have been at war of words with
Mourinho making a fatal blow on the Italian
making reference to his time at Juventis
when he received a four months ban for
not reporting an awareness of a potential
match fixing allegation. Mourinho when
asked why he was not in a gesticulating
mood on the touchline claimed he was not
acting like a clown because of a decision to
be more matured in his reaction as a
person. The pair have been at logger heads
since the duo faced each other in England
for the first time in Chelsea’s 4-0 nil
trashing of Man United at Stamford Bridge
with Conte celebrating wildly on the dugout
with Mourinho claiming he was disrespected
with such a gesture
” You don’t celebrate like that at 4-0, you
can do it at 1-0 otherwise its humiliating for
us”
Mourinho said
Conte denied any wrong doing
” I was a player. I know what the feeling is
like to score. I only told the fans to applaud
the team because they deserved it. There
has always been respect for all and
naturally for Manchester United. I didn’t do
anything to humiliate Mourinho” ( Antonio
Conte)

thin lady or guy
2. Propinquity: This includes familiarity with
the other, such is caused by spending time
together, living near each other, thinking
about the other or anticipating an
interaction with each other.

Religion / How Have You Thanked Him? By Jayne C. Boms by Elaibedouglas: 8:11am On Jan 01, 2018
I give you thanks O lord, with all my heart I
will sing you praises before the gods ”
Psalm 138: 1
How have you thanked him? This is a very
thoughtful question. Today is the last day of
the last month of the year 2017. You have
been privileged to see past January,
February down to this day and it is by God’s
graciousness not by our strength or making.
You probably travelled a lot through the year
by land, sea or air and God let you have
journey mercies. Even for some of you who
had accidents you are still alive so its
important to still be happy. The year may
have had its ups and downs but God was
good to you anyways. Mary Magdalene

Jesus feet to show her appreciation. God
wants us to show him that we appreciate all
he does for us through Thanksgiving

Every Sport has it greats and when its time
for them to call it a day the fans and

will be like without them.
Ricardo Izecson Dos Santos Liete popularly
known as Kaka has recently announced his
decision to retire from professional football.
The Brazilian who is the last ”
human” ( Messi and Ronaldo exclusive) to
win the ballon d’or had spells in many of
Europe’s top clubs including twelve time

Milan.
Kaka was born in 1982 his father a civil

Kaka was born into a financially stable
family which gave him the option of
schooling and footballing at the same time.
His name Kaka came from his cousin Diga’o

Kaka at 18 almost had his football dream
short lived as he fractured his spine in a
swimming pool accident but made a

Sports / Why Is Lukaku Not Celebrating His Goals? by Elaibedouglas: 10:33am On Dec 18, 2017
Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku
has failed to celebrate his last two goals for
the club having netted in consecutive games
after his horror showing at the Manchester
Derby a week ago. The Belgian striker was
negligent in the handling of defensive duties
during the game which saw City score twice
at Old Trafford ending United’s unbeaten run
at home after 40 games. Lukaku was made
the focal point of United’s loss and fans
took to social media to express their
frustration on his basic ball techniques.
Lukaku was accused of being mediocre
against the big boys not withstanding that
he was deployed in a much more defensive
approach without adequate supply from the
United midfield. Lukaku started life with the
red side of Manchester piercing the back of
the net in consecutive games

Sports / Football Memories: Man United End Arsenal's 49 League Games Unbeaten Run by Elaibedouglas: 9:33am On Oct 24, 2017
Football Memories: Man Utd end Arsenal Unbeaten Record: 13 Years after Pizza Gate
Since Former United States President Richard Nixon's Water gate scandal, the word gate has become so well know that the gate has become detached and added to any name relating to a scandal
We have had other gates such as Volgate, winegate and in 1997 President Bill Clinton was involved in an affair with his secretary Monica Lewinsky and it was labelled Lewinsky gate but on a day United had beaten Arsenal ending their unbeaten run a new gate was coined after an Arsenal Player ( reportedly Fabregas) threw a Pizza on Man Utd Manager Sir Alex Ferguson and this was labelled ''Pizzagate''
In the concluding years of the 20 th century down the first 5 years of the new century there used to be a Premier League match that made football lovers salivate and fantasize more than any. It was Man United facing Arsenal. The duo clubs won amongst them 9 premier League titles in that era with United scooping 6 out of the 9
On this Day 24/10/2004 Man Utd hosted Arsenal FC in the English Premier League. Previous Encounters between the two clubs were ferocious and we did witness sending offs and after match confrontations but this was not just an ordinary Arsenal side coming to old Trafford. It was a side that had not tasted defeat in 49 League games and a win at Old Trafford would have made it half a century games of invisibility in the EPL. However Sir Alex Ferguson and his team were not willing to let his opposite number have that party in his own domain. The last encounter at Old Trafford ended in a frantic way with Patrick Vieira sent off for nasty acts and Ruud Van Nisterlrooy being rough handled by the likes of Martin Keown and Cameroon's Lauren and eventually missing a 90th minute penalty which struck the upright and was cleared away.
Arsenal had began the season already in fine fashion and were already 11 points ahead of united who had started very badly. But on this day United were not willing to be second best or share the points.
United Manager fielded a strong side with Ruud Van Nisterlrooy and Wayne Rooney starting Up with Cristiano Ronaldo on the flank. Arsenal on the other hand fielded a strong team with Patrick Vieira in Midfield and Thierry Henry and Dennis Bergkamp up as forwards.
It was a Sunday late kick of game and Mike Riley took the center stage with his stop watch and whistle in his hand. The first half of the game saw Arsenal's Thierry prevented by a good save for Roy Carroll and stayed goalless till half time. However in the second half of the game as Arsenal came out for the kill united capitalised as Wayne Rooney went down in a rather theatheric and dubious way to a seemingly Sol Campbell tackle in the box. It was Mike Riley's 8th penalty award to United in 8 games he had officiated. Ruud Van Nisterlrooy stepped up even though his last two penalties against Jens Lehman were fruitless. But on this occasion he dispatched it to the lower bottom of the goal sending the German shot stopper the wrong way and in a dramatic way he skidded across in full stretch with his both hand expressing great joy and revel as he celebrated his 73rd minute goal. The game continued with United having a serious penalty claim when Ashley Cole brought down Cristiano Ronaldo which was more of a convincing penalty than the first but Mike Riley was in no mood to give another penalty. As Arsenal FC came out to find an equalizer United countered and substitutes Saha and Alan Smith exchanged passes with Smith handing Wayne Rooney a killer square ball which he put inside Jehns Lehman goal to make it two nil. It was his 19th Birthday and a goal to remember. As referee Mike Riley ended the game there were altercations and
arguments between both players and even Managers as Wenger calling United players a cheat. As the argument heightened young Cesc Fabregas threw a Pizza which fell on Sir Alex Ferguson. It was a great win for Man United and a victory that reduced the point gap between both teams to eight. But then Arsenal had seen their record broken, a defeat that began years of decline for Manager Arsene Wenger and his employers Arsenal FC

Nairaland / General / Hate Speeches In Nigeria: The Jonathanians Vs The Buharists by Elaibedouglas: 1:29pm On Oct 12, 2017
Hate Speech In Nigeria:

The Jonathanians Vs the Buharists

The root of the heated Political atmosphere in Nigeria.

The word hate speech has become popular in Africa's popular country. The West African Country managed to escape a tumultuous election scenario in 2015 when Ex- President Goodluck Jonathan was beaten by General Muhammadu Buhari in the March 28 2015 Presidential election. The events that preceded the defeat triggered an ill feeling amongst Nigerians and even though for a while there has been no unity, the level of disunity heightened but before going further on hate speech we must look at its dictionary meaning and its connotations and what constitutes hate speech. Hate speech according to www. dictionary.com. A hate speech is a speech that is intended to insult, attack a person or group because of their race, ethnicity, gender or religion That is to say a hate speech is not exactly a fair criticism but a criticism born out of prejudice, bitterness, pain which is not often rational but aimed at tarnishing someone's image, reputation or creating a false perception of your targets
In the last 2 years, this present administration has been characterised by numerous hate speeches, whether be it from PDP or APC or be it from the Arewa youths or the Biafran youths, the truth is that as each day passes by we hear groans, complains, expressions that sound extremely emotional and disturbing.

Notwithstanding there has actually been hate comments and utterances made in the past notably under Ex President Jonathan who received more insults and disrespectful remarks than any other leader in Nigeria's history. President Jonathan's freedom of speech belief was capitalised on by the North to make statements that were far inappropriate, derisory and contemptuous to a President. The fact that he inherited a government after his late Boss President Musa Yaradua passed away after a protracted ailment got many of the Northern big wigs who felt he should resign for another Northerner so as to complete their tenure rather than continue his presidency upset.

In 2011 elections,Jonathan did not panic, he declared and contested and as the results were announced there was chaos in the North, Corp members and Christians were massacred for that reason and after he was installed some of the Northerners who were denied the party's flag bearer chance began to hit out and make unhealthy comments. Boko haram began their rampage and the Northerners further capitalised on that to undermine Jonathan's presidency by accusing the Presidency of negligence and insensitivity to the bombings taking place in their land and how he was incapable of ruling the country. General Muhammadu Buhari in an invitation gave an illustration of the Baboon and the dog and how they will both be soaked in blood if PDP continues in 2015. He accused the Federal government as being a Bokoharam. In fact the likes of Buhari asked President Jonathan to resign. The likes of Adamu Ciroma cried out with the Power must return to the North slogan. The likes of Murtala Nyako threatened that there will be civil war if Jonathan Contested for the next election. The likes of Pastor Tunde Bakare lashed out at Jonathan, calling him incompetent but the gentle Jonathan kept mute. Some may claim it was wisdom, some may see it as weakness. But however it gave room for more hate speeches and more insults. Hate speech is like a wild fire. It often starts small but as it begins it gets larger and more menacing. The APC were waxing stronger and more hate speeches erupted. Governor Nasir El Rufai started his bashing the President. Hon Rotimi Amaechi threatened a parallel government if Jonathan won.

As the elections got closer it heightened again as hate speech and propaganda became the main weapon of campaigning. This group said this, that group said that. The Christian Association of Nigeria entered the war zone calling APC an Islamic party. The Sultans and the Emirs joined. The campaign managers of both APC and PDP including their Publicity officials joined. The First Lady too. Infact in one of her outings she called the Northerners '' Born throw away'' a remark that was said to offend PDP Chairman Adamu Muazu who later was accused of betraying the President. On the week of the election the likes of Asari Dokubo, Tompolo and other militants joined and said '' No Jonathan, No Nigeria''. And honestly at that point it was clear the direction Nigeria was heading.
President Jonathan lost and in his wisdom stepped aside to prevent a further heating of the polity but Buhari not wise enough to see how bad the country was being divided came on board persecuting Jonathan's men with corruption charges which Nigerians felt were also amongst his party members. He was out on a revenge rampage hurting the loved ones of Southerners and preserving his kinsmen. Appointing his kinsmen and sideling the rest of the country. In fact in a CNN interview he clearly promised to marginalise the people of the South and favour the North. Buhari's EFCC began to act like watch dogs, haranguing civilians without justification, breaking into homes without warrants, doing media trials and other uncalled actions, this led to more angry talks from the South South. Radio Biafara became a station for hate speeches, foul languages and dangerous utterances.

The President seeing this did not change his body language but continued in his nepotism. He threatened the Niger Delta militants and they bombed more pipelines in retaliation and with a sense of '' Now what will you do''? Buhari's dictatorial approach offended civilians who believed they voted in democracy not '' militocracy''. Nmamdi Kanu declared his intentions for Biafra Nation and he kept on bombarding the government. Yes he was arrested but it only made things worse as more Igbos developed the persecution complex behavior which makes people to pity the one who is being victimized and hate the one victimizing. Buhari was hated, more angry words and the militants dared him to come to Niger Delta if he would return alive. Of course he shuddered and sent his Vice Prof Yemi Osibanjo.
The igbos in reaction began protests in a peaceful manner but the military attacked them violently killing them even without a single weapon fired by them Arewa youths issued quit notices and the igbos chased them away in their territories. The EFCC kept on haranguing individuals, they even freezed outspoken Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti State account without a genuine order. He fired back in his usual manner and many supported his stance. When a leader sets up a dictatorial system of ruling especially one that is biased and nepotistic, the reaction is often hate speech and dis unity. The root of the hate speeches from the above is clear, a strong quest to crush other tribes, a strong quest to revenge and retaliate the Jonathians and a strong quest for these oppressed groups to be free of it. If there is hate speech in Nigeria, the President must look at himself, his kinsmen must look at themselves, his party members must do the same. You can win an election by hate speeches and propaganda but you cannot sustain a polity that has been infiltrated by your corrosive comments and gestures.

The battle of supremacy is the root of hate speech and unless a fair system is created the country cannot get rid of that cancer. No one wants to be victimized and in defence they will cry out and speak out in extreme emotions, this is the concept of hate speeches. The hate speech case in Nigeria stems from the self centeredness of one tribe to always rule. It stems from the defeat of an incumbent and the oppression of his people. It is in fact now a defence mechanism by his people to prevent further attacks and victimization. The APC or will I say the Buharists are only being served with a dose of their own medicine. The earlier they realise this and reach out to the hurt, the better for everyone

Thank You Nigerians

The World Cup Qualification without the need for Calculator :An Insight into Nigeria's recent qualifications to the World Cup finals

By

Soibi Ransom

Super eagles of Nigeria yesterday booked a place in next year World Cup thanks to Alex Iwobi's second half strike. The Arsenal man came off the bench to break the deadlock in the 72nd minute from a Shehu cross, his 2nd international goal and against a stubborn and frightening Zambian side who showed a real hunger to have three points at the Godswill Akpabio stadium. The victory ensures that Nigeria has 13 points and a 6 point advantage over 2nd placed Zambia with a game to spare. The qualification also means that Nigeria becomes the first African side to qualify for next years showpiece joining the likes of Germany, Brazil and Spain. Many Nigerians have been reacting joyfully to this success calling it remarkable and unifying The Super Eagles this time around got the job done in their penultimate game, leaving fans with a less worrisome state of mind.

It can be recalled that Nigeria qualified for her 1st World Cup in 94' under the guidance of Clemens Westerhoff after many years of good attempt. In 98' they followed suit convincingly when paired in the same group as Burkina Faso, Guinea and Kenya

In 2002 Nigeria were faced with the prospect of missing out on their first World Cup after two straight qualifications but a final day 3-0 victory at Port Harcourt against Ghana thanks to Victor Aghali's two superb headers proved to be the needed as Nigeria finished a point above George Weah's Liberia. It was the first time Nigeria's bought calculators and considered the possibilities of Ghana and Liberia and other "if's".

As for 2006 World Cup Nigeria were paired with Angola, Zimbabwe, Rwanda, Algeria and Gabon. The games against Angola was pivotal as Angola won the first leg at Luanda by a single goal and in the return Leg Figueredo's second half free kick which was mismanaged by Goal keeper Vincent Enyeama sneaked in to cancel out Jay Jay Okocha wonderful free kick opener. The game ended with the Nigerian skipper shaking his head as he threw his arms in the air in disapproval of the result. It was reported that most of the home based and younger players were oblivious of the fact that qualification was by head to head and Angola had the edge because of their home victory even with Nigeria having a superior goal difference. Nigerians began to calculate again and the mathematicians brought out the permutations and combinations. The sport analyst and lovers began to sing the ''If Angola loose and Nigeria win song''. Nigeria had to win their remaining two games which they did by beating Algeria 5-2 in away and Zimbabwe in Abuja 5-1. The fate of the Super eagles rested on Gabon, it was even said that the Nigerian FF ( Football Federation) formely FA promised cash rewards to the Gabon players if they avoided defeat but Fabrice Akwa's 79th minute goal sent Angola to the world Cup. This broke Nigerian football hearts and the blame game began. Some felt the skipper Jay Jay was at fault for faking an injury so he would play for his club Bolton wanderers a game Nigeria failed to win. Some blamed the coach for not doing well enough to get them wins against Angola. Chukwu was suspended for the remaining two qualifying matches and in all fairness it was justified but Nigeria missed out for the first time since 94'.

Then came 2010 and the eagle again began their campaign being paired with Kenya, Tunisia and Mozambique. Their first game which was in Maputo ended in a goalless draw while Kenya lost to Tunisia at home. Both Tunisia and Nigeria battled for top spot along the way but as usual when Tunisia came to Nigeria they snatched an 89th minute equaliser from Darragi. The Super eagles had put the whole nation in a difficult situation with that result and the football analysts began to per mutate and calculate the different possible outcomes. It then came down to the last game of the qualification where Nigeria would have to beat Kenya and hope that Mozambique get at least a draw against Tunisia. Hopefully Mozambique did the eagles a favour by winning One nil, scoring in the 83rd minute while Nigeria narrowly scaled through to the world Cup with Newcastle's Obafemi Martins netting an 81st minute winner in Nairobi. The pressure was extinguished and Nigeria had made it.

In the 2014 Nigeria had a less stressful qualifying group. Being African Champions, they faced Malawi, Kenya and Namibia which they easily beat and made it to the finals .
In the Latest qualification many feared Nigeria would struggle given that Coach Sunday Oliseh was underperforming and also having fall out with key players. His stifle approach saw him fall out with Veteran Goal keeper Vincent Enyeama. On the pitch performaces were uninspiring and with the coach claiming he was suffering from health challenges caused by members of the NFF he resigned. The NFF quickly recruited Gernot Rohr former Bayern Munich defender, the 64 year old quickly put the pieces together and made the eagles fly again. Despite being paired with Cameroon, Zambia and Algeria, the eagle had a smooth qualification avoiding defeat and drawing only a game against Cameroon. Yesterday's victory means the super eagles will have their green white green colors running on the pitch of Vladimir Putin's Russia and how sweet it is to do so without creating tension and blood pressure for her supporters

Nairaland / General / The Federal Republic Of Suffering And Smiling : Nigeria's Biggest Virtue by Elaibedouglas: 6:38am On Oct 01, 2017
The Republic of Suffering and Smiling: Nigerians Biggest Virtue ( An independence day reflection

By Soibi Ransom

We are here again for another 1st October Independence day Celebration as Nigeria our dear nation is a year older, We have had 57 years of existence and one with good and bad experiences, positives and negatives and hope for a better Nation.

Nigeria since its independence has carved a reputation for virtue and vices. We became the first African Nation to win the gold medal in Olympics soccer in 1996.
We have once been the greatest exporters of crude oil in Africa, we have once been voted the most religious country in the world. We have had Nigerians break world records in Literature, sports, computers, medicine and lest I forget we are also the most populous country in Africa. In fact statistics has it that one out of every five Africans are Nigerians.
On the negative end we are viewed by the elite countries as one with one of the most corrupt leadership in the world and in 2006 were even listed by a foreign survey as No.2 in the most corrupt countries in the world. Our wastefulness as a country is well documented as well as our great level of impunity. In 2009 we were shortlisted as a terrorist nation when Nigerian born Umar Faruk was caught with an explosive trying to bomb a plane heading from Amsterdam to Detroit. Many prisons overseas are filled with Nigerians and some countries have said they would not easily grant us Visas because of our level of dubiousness and financial fraud. The world however pays more attention to our negatives of being corrupt, fraudsters, wasteful, terrorist and all of them but our virtue and attitude of endurance and forbearance is ignored and downplayed. It is what afro beat legend Fela Kuti was referring to in his song '' Suffering and smiling'' where people who should be disturbed and unhappy over difficulties or people who are in pain would ordinarily strive to change it will rather find a way to bear it than Change it.

From our conception as a nation and as a republic we have faced so many challenges, most of which have been leadership centered challenges. We have had coups, counter coups, blood baths, spats and ethnic and religious confrontations, we have had an economy of the rich to enrich the rich and enslave the poor, we have had a country of a high level of nepotism from one tribe, a country of marginalisation, a country of hunger, suffering , poverty, desolation and low standard of living. We have had a government of looters, who embezzle the Nation, build mansions in their villages, send their children overseas, treat their families in the best of foreign hospitals. We have had security agencies who overlook justice, punish the innocent and set free the guilty. We have had a country that has moved a step forward today and three steps back ward the next day but yet we have totally endured. We have had a country whose main export petrol is scarce to its own citizens such that its citizens queue and sleep all night in fuel stations to buy that which they sell to other countries in large amounts. A country whose citizens buy petrol at a high price, kerosene which is mainly used by the poor at an outrageous price. Most often in the country we look at the short term benefits of what we do and suffer long term consequences, whether it is during our elections or selection as it sometimes is, we have always preferred to take a few bucks and install the man who will ruin us further and make us poorer rather that be patriots of the country we own. If there is one thing our leaders have understood it is that no matter how bad it goes, the masses will find a way to adapt even if it means feeding once a day, living under a bridge, stealing to survive, it doesn't bother them. That the cost of an egg is now N50 or a hungry man size indomie noodle which used to be sold at N100 is now N150 and the common man bread has now skyrocketted to N80 from N50. Nigerians will first shout, do their initial '' gra-gra'' after some months we will begin to enjoy our suffering like it is a step of progress. We have had religious institutions and heads who rather than speak out and confront these looters, will pocket their own share turn around and preach '' my economy is not of this world'' . We often tell ourselves it will be fine, it will get better, we preach it, we add In Jesus name, in Allah's name but we never work towards fixing it. We rather than solve our problems find a way to diminish it, undermine it and make it look like it isn't a big deal when really it is and we really should be fighting to solve it. When we hear foreign nations call us corrupt, we get upset and in defiance we say '' Corruption is everywhere'' We are the architects of our own condition, like Fela Kuti said further in his remarkable song '' If you are suffering, blame yourself'' .Yes Nigerians blame yourself, not just your leaders because you put them there, you instilled them with such wealth, affluence, power, command and yet you let them trample upon your rights and benefits like a worthless creature, you choose to be a peanut eater rather than a bread maker. You have adopted the attitude of suffering and smiling rather than the attitude of expecting good governance from them or at least character and progress. We keep lying to ourselves, to our citizens, to our congregation that all will be fine rather than face what is making it difficult and change it. You cannot change what you tolerate.

God will never change Nigeria for us if we don't decide to change it. As long as we keep letting the leadership get away with fraud and looting and not confront those who we elected, who have nothing to show forth in their duties but personal cars, jeweleries, houses and a fat bank accounts, we will be wretches, rats and roaches. We must accept our duties and make the country better. We are not supposed to be sufferers with the resources we have in place. Every man in this nation should own a house, earn a good pay no matter what we do as work. That a graduate will earn N30,000 a month when his years rent is N200,000 is unbelievable. That we have a high level of poverty in this nation especially the North that has held power for four decades shows the extent of our forbearance attitude. That does who loot us dry in the name of politicians walk about with a free mind and a lack of duty to us tells a lot. That our country lacks good health care services and this has led to the death of many of our relatives, friends and well wishers. That we have been so much oppressed by the powerful and we squeeze in busses without a good ventilation system to move from place to place is unheard of. The typical Nigerian wants to smile with his pain expecting the smile to remove the pain rather than change the circumstance that leads to such pain. If the world had given us a reputation of fraudsters, wasters and never do wells, its time they changed that as even our coat of arms which says Peace and Unity doesn't reflect that we are united rather '' Masters of Suffering and smiling''. So my dear Nigerians , you are welcome to Nigeria, the republic of suffering and smiling''.

President and Commander In Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria

I am compelled to write to you Mr President and members of your ruling Party as regards to the drowning state of democracy and other areas of our lives under you stewardship. I am not in the capacity of Chief Gani Fawehinmi or Femi Falana or Governor Ayodele Fayose or Chief Femi Fani- Kayode but a concerned citizen who desires to see a better Nigeria and a better society

Mr President as a christian I acknowledge your emergence as President as allowed by God as we are told in the Book of Romans that all Governments are established by God the ruler of the universe, notwithstanding the people of Nigeria came out massively to vote you into Power in the March 28 2015 election. Mr President during your Presidential campaign you made a number of big promises to us Nigerians and you assured us of good governance and a holistic approach in the war against corruption and other societal misdemeanors such as stealing of public funds, nepotism and crimes but rather Sir your first two years in office has shown clearly that you clearly did not mean what you said or you clearly did not do a proper estimation of your task as President of our dear nation,
Sir you promised to provide a yearly two million jobs for your citizens but sir rather millions of Nigerians estimate 5 million people lost their job in your first year in office and the scores have heightened in the further year and on your path you have failed to create adequate jobs for people. Your N Power schemes and other sources of livelihood for citizen have yielded very low output and many persons are yet to benefit from these schemes
Mr President, you claimed that you would unite the nation and that you would scrap the system of LGA origin and install the place of birth in its place so as to bring us together not malign us but from your statement on CNN you said that you will only consider the percentage of people who voted you in and the remainder percentage would get lesser treatment. Mr President in your inaugural speech you quoted french stateman '' I belong to everybody and I belong to nobody but your statement above reflects a contradiction to that of your CNN interview.
Mr President so far your appointments have been loopsided
and you have given the North every major slot in your government, the security forces are headed by Northerners and even in the appointment of the Chief Judge Walte Onnoghen you stalled and dragged your feet in a show of reluctance to confirm him, had it not beeen from your ailment and absence Nigerians feel you would have circumvented him for a Northerner since he is from the South South. Mr President you promised to feeding of children in schools has only started in few states many of which are Norther states. Mr President you promised economic growth and success and that the exchange rate would be made equivalent to the dollar but it has not happened, rather you have brought hardship on Nigerians and you have led to departure of big companies who would have helped the economy with your poor economic policies and your finance minister who is seen as a charlatan. As for the exchange rate Nigerians now buy pounds for almost 400 naira to 1 pounds by contrast to the previous regime which was at 250 Naira to a pound
Bussiness both small and large have been garroted and the coost of living has sky rocketted, many Nigerians now feed once a day and many are homeless because they can no longer afford their rents. Under your watch we have seen recession and even depression.
Mr President, you promised to crush Insurgency in Nigeria and defeat Bokoharam but in your first few months Bokoharam killed alot of people and even though your Army Chief have claimed that Boko Haram is technically defeated we still know that some areas and town are still under their control. On the Issue of Chibok girls, you promised to find them all and bring them back to their parents but so far those returning have not proved that they were among the crew abducted and Nigerians see the whole Chibok girls story as a propaganda conjured to hurt and remove the former President Goodluck Jonathan.
Mr President you and members of your cabal have decided to hide the true state of your health so as to destroy reports of a possible Osibanjo take over so as to avoid a repeat of the Yaradua- Jonathan situation and further went on to call the Acting Vice President a Cordinator. Mr President you have worsened the activities of the Niger Delta Millitants by declaring war against them, many more groups have emerged and have bombed pipelines and driven oil companies away. Although it has reduced there is every chance of it coming back because the real cause has not been adressed. Mr President you and your Party member were among those lambasting the former President after he came up with the subsidy removal but rather have keep mute over your own decision to remove it, increasing petrol price by 75% percent when you promised to reduce it. Mr President you promised that Kerosene would be sold for 40 Naira but today it is sold for more tha three times the price.
Mr President under your watch the Fulani herdsmen have been unleashing terror and causing mayhem on farmers and innocent citizens yet not a single one has been caught in comparism with the millitants in the south whom you sent soldiers to mutilate. Mr President the Kaduna killings has gone unanswered for, over 800 christians were slaughtered yet not a single arrest. Mr President your anti corruption crusade has become a witch Hunt and a charade as your EFCC now tell lies and photoshop monies and claim it was recovered, infact only members of the former ruling party PDP have been arrested. The Spokesman of the Jonathan Campain Chief Femi Fani Kayode was unlawfully arrested and detained even the Ex NSA Col Sambo Dasuki is still in prison without an open trail and even with an order from the Ecowas court to release him, you have ignored them and your Department of state security has become your watch dog, arresting and intimidating people. Power supply has dropped drastically under your watch. Mr President under your watch money is being stolen by your ministers, infact the 2016 Budget was severly inflated and for the first time Nigerian heard the word Budget padding. The lawmaker who exposed those behind it is on suspension when the guilty parties are enjoying their loot unharmed. Mr President there is too much of hear no evil in matters related to your party members, the use of insecticides on PDP members but deodorants on APC members, Nigerians now know APC as the ''Jesus Party'' who forgives all sins of those who join them. Mr President enough of this misruling you must rise to the challenges we face and end the nepotism, injustice, suffering, stealing corruption and other misdemeanours. You must unite Nigerians and not make appointments that make one group feel discriminated. Mr President you must improve power and ensure that our dams are running effectively. Mr President you must disclose your health to your people and not treat them as irrelevant. Mr President you must be what you were voted to be and not dissapiont the people who stuck out their neck to vote you.
There will be an election two years from now and you will be accessed by your works in this remaining period. If you must leave office as a success you have to turn the bad decisions or else when you and your Party say the word Change, Nigerians would drag the brooms from your hands and sweep you out of power. Mr President your time is short, you must hasten up, tick tock Mr President, it is getting late.

The ''Mourinhomatics'' of UCL Qualification: The Concept of Loosing Battles (Matches) to Win Wars (Titles)

Manchester United have just booked a place in the Uefa Champions League next season by defeating Ajax FC of Amsterdam in the Europa League final and by doing so we have decided to look at the manner in which Jose Mourinho has made his Man Utd side qualify using the back door. Back in August Manchester United began their campaign in the EPL with great hopes and expectations of being at the summit of the Ladder. They kicked off by beating Bournemouth 3-1 away which saw ex PSG star Zlatan Ibrahimovic register his first goal in English Top Football Division. United went on to win Southampton 3-0 and then a late winner from Marcus Rashford ensured that they got all 3 points against Hull but after facing Pep Guardiola's ManCity Side they were outplayed and beaten by the visitors 2-1, this defeat led to an unprecedented drop in form and lack of confidence, leading to two more defeats, the first in the Europa League loosing a goal to nil to Feynord, followed by another EPL defeat at the hands of the Hornets 3-1 and it was the first time a Mourinho team were losing 3 consecutive games in a row for over a decade. They then began their EFL Cup campaign by beating lower division Northampton meanwhile in the League they went on a 3 game win run beating the League Champions Leicester and Zorya in the Europa League. Draws to Burnley, Stoke, Liverpool, and a defeat to Chelsea held them in 6th Position, a position they will unfortunately hold on to for many months, the defeat to Chelsea was Mourinho's second heaviest defeat in his career with the exception of the 5-0 drabbing in the hands of Pep's Barcelona in 2010. Jose's side kept pressing and playing free flow attacking game but the results were not coming as expected they gave away their leads in the dying minutes and dropped too many points at home A 2nil win over Zorya on 8 Dec ensured qualification as top seed of their group, meanwhile in the EFl Cup they had soared to the Semis ready to face hull. They beat Hull in the first Leg but lost 2-1 in the away leg but it mattered less because of the aggregate advantage. Manchester United then faced Southmapton in Feb 28 EFL Cup final at Wembly, a late Zlatan header gave them the honors. Mourinho became the firs Man Utd manager to win a trophy in his first season in Charge Elsewhere in the League they were unbeaten but it never lifted them above fifth and it became so frustrating that United record signing exclaimed '' we are cursed'' as the games came by more injuries to key players, Jones and Smalling all picked up knocks on international duty, Pogba sidelined , Luke shaw etc, United faced Chelsea in the FA cup quarter final and were beaten by Kante's strike. In the Europa League they had also progressed pass St Ettiene and in the second leg against Anderchlet, the worst happened Zlatan was ruled out for 9 months after a knee ligament tear, the bandage group became filled with more players as Rojo too was ruled out including Young and teenager Mfosuh Mensah. The pundits cried foul and slammed Jose for uninspiring displays which saw them drop more points at home. Mourinho had changed focus as he realised the forces that be would not let Man Utd finish in the Top four, they had managed to stay away from 6th for just two weeks and with a second leg game against Celta vigo Mourinho rested alot of his players and handed a debut to United starlet Tazuenebe, they were beaten at the Emirates and Arsene Wenger had his first victory over a Mourinho side in 17 attempts. Mourinho stood his ground that prioritising the Europa League was common sense and that he had 16 fit players for 8 weeks matches and he didnt have a choice. The football Journalist slammed him for putting all his eggs in one basket as anything could lead to their break. But Mourinho has been in football long enough to know how it works, he must have taken reference from Liverpool in 2005 and Chelsea in 2012 and hoped things will play out accordinly for Man Utd. Meanwhile the Europa League was the only missing trophy from the Old trafford Cabinet and a win would see United topple rivals Liverpool as the club with most major trophies in UK. The sacrifice at Arsenal paid off as Celta were eliminated with the draw at Oldtrafford, a game they almost snatched had it not been for Guidetti's miskick shot in the late seconds of the game. United progressed to Stocklom final but tough League games against Spurs ensured another test of sacrifise. Mourinho rested his stars and was beaten 2-1 in Spurs last game at white heart lane. The next fixtures against Southampton and Palace was for the kids as United drew and won meaning they ended 6th in the table. Many had called for Mourinho's sacking but the Europa League final held them back. The idea of prioritising it didnt sound well to them The world was watching to see how United will conquer Ajax but they did beating them 2 nil in the final. Mourinho was vindicated, it was more important to loose battles and win wars. Loosing to Arsenal and Spurs was a battle but eliminating Celta was a war and winning the Europa League the victory sound. Mourinho has won the Europa League a second time, and it is his 4th European title as a manager. The victory ensures UCL football and a chance to bring in big names. He ends the season on high and he should be praised for his Mourinhomatics, calculating the course of events and maximising his opportunities. He ends his season with an adage '' Loose Battles, but win wars. This is the law of Mourinhomatics.
