Hello guys and TGIF. So i thought i should share one of my adventures i had of recent as regards to satisfying my precious tummy .I work on the island and of late, the incessant traffic in Lagos especially for those leaving their offices for their respective homes, i decided to take an adventure with a couple of my friends after work to relax a bit. We decided to try Viceroy restaurant at Akin Adesola, since its closer to our office. I haven’t had the chance of trying out a good meal in one of the numerous good restaurants on the island. The stress of work makes me to retire home as soon as possible after work. But hey, all work and no play, makes a young man a dull and depressing soul in a world full of negative stories of late. The entrance and the restaurant's soft music and candlelight gave it a romantic ambience on the night. Good music blazing from the speakers with customers eating, drinking and laughing their asses off the stress of the hustle and bustle of Lagos( owo eko, eko la ti na). We were served the menu that the restaurant had to offer. To be honest, God has blessed us with tonnes of varieties of food in this world. My friends and i took our time to deliberate on the choice of food to order and we finally settled on a good meal. It was a great time hanging out with my friends at Viceroy restaurant. We ate, drank and laughed to ease of the stress of the long week we all had at work. I think folks should try out the restaurant , as it is a great place to cool off at any time of the day, not just at night. Today is another TGIF, so hopefully after work, my friends and i would embark on another adventure looking for a good restaurant or hang out spot to enjoy the night. So i guess, another write up is in the offing from me soonest. |

Hello House. Please is Unilag going to run Masters in Banking and Finance (MBF) and Masters in Development Finance(MDF) this session? Also, what subject would one take in the entrance exam for both courses, if they are both available. Thank you ahead as i expect your feedback(s). |

The first question i will like to ask is in which area are you specialized in at the moment if you are working? Also, i feel being chartered has more pedigree than msc accounting. If you are in Tax unit, why not earn CITN, if Forensic/Investigation/Audit, why not try CFE. And if you are in core accounting, just earn an MBA or Msc Mgt or Finance to broaden your knowledge. Your present job should also determine your next line of academic pursuit |
hello . i am an economics graduate. apart from the management courses, can i apply for any of the courses relating to international relations and which would be be suitable if i can. also, which of the management courses is less competitive. |

Is this current registration/application for 2017/2018 session or is there going to be another registration/application process in the course of the year? just curious to know because i just heard about this. Also, this is a wonderful initiative. it will reduce the number of students in the classroom,on campus and even in the hostel. it is a good scheme for people working who don't have much time to go to classes, nursing mothers/housewife and those who would like to juggle professional exams with Masters etc. NUC and other universities should take a huge cue from this idea, especially with regards to PG courses that are mostly theoretical. with time, i know we will get there. |
wow. what a lovely story. i can still remember almost all my primary school mate by name. there are some that we do communicate a lot on a regular basis. |
is audit and assurance purely theoretical ? seems most pple who wrote skills last diet didnt write this paper. am planning on writing FR,Psaf & AA based on the subjects to be written on exam day. one per day |
eeya, sorry about your experience. i think you need to get in touch with their customer service by sending a mail to them or call the phone numbers at the back of ur atm card. they sure will respond to your issues. i once had an issue with my account that i didnt use for a while n my internet banking as well and it was resolved very well. was surprised as the chick ( she has one beautiful voice that gave me goosebumps ) who attended to me over the phone was so nice. just get in touch with them asap |
Billygee2u: Mr I too know.Only you know everything.Mr know it all.. "Mr I have to post something" Did I say I know it all?Didn't I even state that even what am writing one should also not believe it.That is why some people like u just jump d gun on any issue, just to post a comment. anyways,I know say u just dey catch trips, but its good.kip it up bro |
armadeo: The hr peeps would then perceive alcohol on your breathe at 10 a.m .. Haba na,no be like that.I go just spice up my mouth with sweet to reduce d smell of d drink and put nice perfume.lol |
Readin pples comment on here and generally on social media,I have now concluded that millions of nigerians don't know the politics that is played behind our backs.am not condemning d president for congratulating d opposition party, but what do u expect him to say?His govt is facing huge backlash and uproar from citizens for his failure to curb d insecurity in the country. His govt has to say this so they can get people to back them as elections gears up for next year.Do u guys know how the party at d centre tried so hard to rig the election but failed as a result of d opposition. And people in d state resistance? Do u guys know the games played just to ensure the party at the centre won.The moves they made. Why don't u guys think about the heavy presence of security and harrassment of opposition leaders. They tried but people weren't intimidated but stood up to resist.Millions of us don't know what's going on.We just sit down in our comfort zones and believe any the govt says or anyone says.Don't believe everything a Man tells u even don't believe what I tell u cos pple are all about their self interest.May God open our eyes in Nigeria to many things we don't know |
quincie: Same here ooooo. I also had that nervousness in d last interview I did.And I have made up my mind that d next one, imma have to take some alcohol since it gives me some hyper confidence |
Hello house,I have been following this thread and it has been really helpful.God bless everyone contributing on here. Its just so pathetic that our govt has made us all wanna comot this country for greener pastures with the bad economy. I have read and heard good stuffs about australia.I just need a few answers to my following questions and God bless those who respond to my answers cos knowledge is key.I want to apply for a TAFE program(which must be at least 2years).Tho I have bsc economics from school, but due to the high cost of graduate programs in aussie,I feel TAFe would be wise, tho with d long term plan of getting an M.sc. (1)Can I apply for a streamline visa processing SVP for both TAFE and postgrad program?or just (2)TAFE alone for normal voactional visa? (3)I went through some TAFE schools for diploma in business and mgt course but most duration is less than 18months.Cam I apply for other programs such as building construction ,fashion designin etc which can go for at least 2years? (3)For those that know about TAFE very well, should I apply for Advanced diploma that start from Certificate 4 courses up to Advanced dip n take up to 2years? (4)Is it compulsory to have IELTS or can one substitute his WAEC english for it or if I have submit my Degress transcripts, can they make use of use of english that is passed in uni.The latter question was because a friend of mine got admitted to an aussie uni this year n made use of his result of use of english he had in uni. I will be waiting for ur kind response.God bless y"all |
This thread just makes me almost crack my ribs.shots firing from different nations. To be honest I haven't met more than one S.A girl and it was online(thru a Nigerian friend). The way we discuss and d way she tells me about Nigerian men she has met,she told me how she likes and falls for the few ones she has met.Even the time she saw my pics, she said her mind compared to our babes here. She is very open about sex.D only probs is that she is dating my Nigerian friend. My conclusion is that d rejected stone in one country is taken as a god in another country. |
