There's a benchmark price set for crude oil in the budget!

And there's also an international benchmark price for crude at any point in time!

Even if crude oil prices crashes in the international market, it may take a while for it to reflect in Nigeria as many people will claim to have stocks they bought at that high price.

So we're in for a long thing!

The problem is that once prices go up in Nigeria they don't ever go back down even if conditions change

As far as this thread is concerned only Ogogorofreak and other BTC maximalists are going to the moon, the rest of us are already in the village!

Most of the altcoins we're holding will not even survive till the next cycle but BTC will still be standing come what may!

This last 2 months will do something big.

As far as I'm concerned the bull run has already happened with BTC so I'm not expecting anything spectacular to happen with alts in December.

If you check prices of coins within the last 2 weeks you will notice that they are dipping more than they're pumping.

The prudent thing to do right now is to activate measures to protect and save whatever you can from your capital.

As for me if I'm able to recover at least 75% of my capital I'll be a very happy man.

The bold is why low caps coin listed on exchanges are very risky. If it is not listed at all fine, but once it is listed & gets delisted, that coin is dead. Someone lost $17k on aidoge recently due to delisting. Once u have this possibility of delist in mind, u will be very careful with what u invest in low cap alts.

The $17K the person lost in just one coin is almost double the total amount I have invested in the crypto market between 2021 and March 2024 which is still hanging in the balance...I don see who I better pass

But why would a person invest that type of money in just 1 coin that does not even have solid coinnomics?

As a personal rule I avoid those meme coins that are spoofs or imitations of another coin eg Baby Elon, Saudi Pepe, Pepe Musk, Baby Floki etc but if I must buy them I put in only a small amount of money.

As from January 2026 apart from BTC there is nothing on the face of the earth that will make me invest my money in an altcoin that is not in the Top 20

Several months ago I changed my objective in crypto from profit making to capital recovery meanwhile the market keeps dipping further and I'm still loosing money from the the capital I have left

Wema Bank did share a reconstruction some time ago. Check the ratio. That could be the reason for what you see on your cscs.

When the shares were purchased, did you confirm it was 20k units then?
If you didn't, then it's possible they got only 1700 for you and never bothered to use up your whole deposit to complete the purchase.

As it is, you can only claim the shares purchased back while, unfortunately, the remaining fund is lost.

More reason some don't always want to keep cash/funds in trading accounts for longer periods but will use it to buy shares..... especially if you're not the monitoring type.

Funds with brokers are safer this way because you can retrieve your shares back but can't retrieve cash back.

Well as at the time I have them the deposit the instruction was to use the whole sum to buy the shares of Wema Bank.

The marketer eventually told me that the bought the shares. I can't remember the exact quantity because it's being such a long time but I know it was definitely more than 1,700 units.

I eventually did not follow up to get a copy of my CSCS statement for it because the shares were doing so poorly and I was having some regret for even making the investment
