So I came across this analysis n decided to get your views on it.

Here it goes:

Very simple economics. We buy most of our goods from China, so why must we pay the Chinese in dollars? The Chinese buy a lot of crude oil from us, so why must they pay us in dollars?

So PMB made a deal with the Chinese. We pay for the goods we buy from China in Yuan, the Chinese currency. They buy our crude oil and pay in Yuan.

The exchange rate is to be pegged at 30 Naira to one Yuan or RMB.

So how does it favour us? Simple.

The Yuan is now 6.48 to a dollar. So if you pay 30 Naira to the Yuan, that would be equivalent to 194.4 Naira to the dollar.

Since the dollar exchanges for 199 Naira, you save N4.6. 199 - 194.4 = 4.6. Simple, huh?

In simple terms, PMB has just strengthened the Naira by 9.15%!

And that's not the end of the story. As we begin to deal in the Yuan, the demand for dollar would plummet and this in turn would weaken the dollar. It would crash to around 140 Naira to the dollar.




Does this mean I can now buy my dream China phone?

1 you claimed to be selling Tecno phones before but due to the experience you had you didn't sell their products again? But we all know you as importer of Chinese made products, Tecno's competitor, I haven't seen you post anything about Tecno products before

2 You said Tecno N9 is a 10 inch, another lie. How come you don't know the products you are selling? We have people who are still using this tablet today they can gladly tell you it's 8 inch tablet.

3 If truly you were given a Tecno G9 by Tecno you have just scammed them. Your agents are all here supporting you, we kw them.

4 if truly your story was true why are you just telling us now. I believed because one person did it last week and got result you also came to do the same thing.

Sorry about your predicament bro. We do understand how a good number of unqualified customer care agents fill up these job positions without proper character check and training by the employers. This is common in Nigeria, more so in even multinationals - banks and even hotels and telecoms (because you cant see those ones, they have this silent way of been hostile to customers )

I believe at the time the agent at carl care was hostile you'd have insisted on seeing the manager. This way, the agent can be queried.
On the issue of the tablet been collected, its really a peculiar case. Its easier for them to tell the customer away and not offering any reasonable help, while forgetting they work for a brand who is summarily in the business of ensuring customers are happy. Someone should be queried for this lapse and if need be, even lose their job to serve as a deterrent for future occurrences. Anything could have happened to the device. Too many things go on behind the scenes of every company and go unnoticed. Someone may have taken it, seeing that it had stayed a long time and no one came to pick it up; anything else could have happened.

Carl care is growing to be a respectable brand in the country, its important that they deal with this case so they can save their name from been smeared by unfortunate events such as this. Hopefully your case will be settled.

On a lighter note, phone business is a profitable one oo, especially with the rate Tecno phones are selling. You couldn't have stopped good business because of one unfortunate incident nah . Business is about interest man, you need to set aside emotions from business. Just saying bro I really wish you luck in sorting this out.

i have read..and my stance dosent change. You dont brand a whole organisation a cheat just because you had a fault with a branch. You either phone up the head office or ask to speak with the manager in charge of that branch. I dont even see why you didnt cause enough stir at their office..since from your story you have all the proof.

no your getting it wrong..have you exhausted all the possible outcomes to contact them? Am not saying your claim is wrong. My point is everybody cant just start creating threada about how deir earpiece stop working after 2 days or stuff like that.. They have a customer service be sure to have relayed your complaints properly before doing this.
