Can I pay for priority service on my appointment day at TLS ikeja?

There's a portion where it is asked if you have other previous passports, state the old passport number, declare the South African visa, scan both and upload when submitting your application.

Note: This advice is on the assumption that you have nothing to hide in the old passport?

I made a mistake while applying for my Visa about the course start date.
I put October 2nd instead of November 2nd.
I'm so worried.
I saw it just now as I'm going through the PDF and I read this over and over again before moving to the IHS website.
Cannot even fathom how I missed that.
Now the answers are locked.
Gurus advise me please
Do I open another email and apply.
Mote that I havent paid the IHS fees yet but I cant edit my answers again

Hi guys.
Help please.
I am filling my Visa application at the moment.
The issue is,I renewed my passport but the old one has not expired.
I was wrongly advised by the agent to renew it,I it,I didn't know that if it has 6 months validity its still valid.
My old passport has up to 2 years validity.
So the issue now is,my CAS was issued using my new passport number so automatically it's what I should fill during my visa application ,but my old passport has my travel history to South Africa.
My question is,if I declare my travel history to SA I would need to upload my old unexpired passport right?
Is there any negative effect of having an old unexpired passport and a new passport.

Please help,its bugging me so much I cant sleep.

For someone that was refused a UK visit Visa in 2009 and is just about to apply for a student visa.
1. Since it's more than 10 years,should it stated?
2. The refusal slip is missing and I can't remember the reason for refusal,how is the best way to explain this while filling the visa application?

Note the visit Visa was later granted in 2009 but the initial one was rejected.

Awaiting inputs please guys cause I just got my CAS.

Having prior refusals doesn't mean that you can't get a visa (except in cases of deception and other grievous reasons), just ensure that you address the refusals and their reasons. Also ensure that all submitted documents are held in the manner and format required by UKVI.

We how ever have had a Visa refusal to Canada. (TOURIST VISA) Wanted going with my husband and kids,my husband was the main applicant.
Now for student Visa for UK I am the main applicant, going to RGU.
I have paid tuition deposit and we have all done TB test.

So due to the refusal I am trying to be very careful in making sure all I need to do for the UK is in line with all they want and correct hence my questions.

Would this be a big issue?

I have a a few questions please.
For dependents visa.

1. Apart from the bank statement what does the principal applicant husband need as documents to show.
That is,would marriage Certificate be requested,if yes is it court marriage Certificate or church own will suffice.


2. For the kids,apart from bank statement of principal applicant, what other documents would they need.
That is would they need birth certificate to prove relationship to their parents (note they have this,I am just asking to gather more documents if need be)etc.

The UK new student visa route effective from October 5.
All students applying through the new Student route will need to demonstrate they meet the required 70 points. They will achieve the required points if they can demonstrate that they have an offer from an approved educational institution, speak English and are able to support themselves during their studies in the UK.

Please note that the Immigration Health Surcharge will also increase from mid - October 2020. This means students and their family members will be required to pay £470 a year, instead of the current annual charge of £300.
Student Route - changes for students
Applications for entry clearance can be made up to 6 months before a course starts.
Study time limits will no longer be applied to study above degree level. They will otherwise remain as they are currently.
Maintenance levels will be adjusted to £1023 per month.
The list of ‘low-risk’ nationalities subject to reduced documentary requirements will be expanded to include EEA nationals. The list will continue to be kept under review.

maintenace to show is for 9 months max
so it should be 680*9=6120*4=24,480 pounds for all the dependents
then you add the remaining fees +maintenace for main applicant
1,023*9 =9,207+10,580=19,787
so total amount to show would be 19,787+24,480=44,267
use oanda.com to confirm the amount in naira you need to show as equivalent of this fees..

Tuition fee balance = 15,000- 4420 = 10,580

Living expenses,if going by the new PBS system for international students from October 5,it would then be = 1,023 x 12 =12,276 pounds

Total amount needed in bank statement = 22,856 pounds
*I like calculating by 12 months cause i am factoring in currency fluctuations*

The issue now is how much would the dependents need.

I am aware the maintenance fund per dependent is £680.
So 680 x 12 for dependent 1 = 8,160
So x 4 dependents for 12 months is = 8,160 x 4 = 32,640

So now the ,maintenance funds for the dependents should it be added to that of the principal applicant which would be 22,856 +32640 = 55,496 pounds

Or i just have to add the difference which would be 32,640 - 22856 = 9,784 pounds

So i would just add 9,784 to principal applicant tuition balance and maintenace cost which would be a total of 32,640.

The 31 day rule is very key and not being joked about
If you've not done biometrics and used assisted service, I think you can still upload updated bank statement. If you used self service, I think you can upload on the day of your biometrics by paying assisted service fee.

If you've done biometrics, you might need the write UKVI with the updated bank statement. In this case, you will be hoping they get the mail on time and attend to it esp this period when they are swamped with workload.

Other option will be to withdraw application and start again

Gurus should put + or - where my suggestions are inadequate.

For context,
This is what happened.

Submitted on the 14th of September.
Biometrics was on the 18th of September (I had someone I paid to give me an early date) as I initially got 30th of September and latest day for enrollment was 28tj September, I wanted to do biometrics before that date.

Decision mail was on the 22nd of September.
(I paid for Priotity service)

Collection mail from TLS was on the 23rd of September.
So as at when I was asking these questions I had already got decision mail but I was just worried that it was a refusal.

Today September 28th,DHL delivered my passport with Visa in it.

Beyond excited.
