After going through this thread i see that you guys are full of WISDOM... so please i need you to help me with mine.... I am applying to SAE Netherlands and according to them their institution is not accredited and so i need to apply for the Type D visa by myself... that is i need to get an MVV and residence permit before moving ahead with my application. As it stands now, i will be applying without a host and i heard that this will be harder for me.... i am so lost and dont know where to begin from! Do i go to the embassy in Lagos or Abuja? what is supposed to be my first step here, and i also read online that MVV is no longer issued in Nigeria... abeg make una help me out ooo... i havent done something like this before, and i dont want to use all those so called visa agents... please Nairalanders, i need you guys!

Hello everyone,
Today I sat at my PC and kept Oritsefemi's "Igbeyawo" on replay. And I was moved to tears about how beautiful Yoruba and Nigerian culture is in general.
I'm 17 and would soon be leaving the country soon, and I need to learn youruba before then, I hear very little, however I'm willing to put in great effort into this.
For now I school at FUTO and as you can tell na Igbo guys full here.
I know I realized my mistakes in learning Yoruba late, but I'll try my best.
So please if you're fluent in Yoruba and have a sense of teaching, drop your numbers and I'll call you EVERYDAY till I get it right!!

Is it a scam? Don't get me wrong - I'm tempted but if you ask me - it sounds way too good to be true.

It says it's free but I'm so scared of putting my email in there, then getting spammed to death.

So that said and done... Has anyone got any experience with this?
