GloriousGbola: The difference is that deporting illegals is not a performative sport that requires militarization, giving ICE the biggest budget of all the agencies, recruiting and training people in six weeks or less, arming Ice agents to the teeth, having them hide their faces
I am sure those comparing Obama to trump can show us pictures like this
https://youtube.com/shorts/6ZhCaEcEgeg?si=CuTwIFfT9OkzKULQ
As a Nigerian you know about how the FG can use state apparatus to harass those in opposition.
Why is this massive show of force required? Are we looking at hardened criminals?
Do you need four men with automatic weapons threatening a nurse?
Does this look like America, or like Nigeria where we are used to and expect military, police, etc to harass and bully civilians without consequence?
Why are you taking an old man out half naked in the cold? The only state you see this is in Minnesota where tampon Tim has refused to cooperate with ICE and grant them access directly to the jails to pick up criminals with orders of removal. Ice is now forced to go to the streets and hunt down the criminals where they are also met by paid agitators and protesters who are harassing and interfering in their duties. Tim Walz can end the chaos in Minnesota today by cooperating with ICE but he won't do it cos he prefers the optics of protesting against Trump. Every other city cooperating with the Feds don't have this problem of ICE on the streets except sanctuary cities. Also very importantly under Obama, people died under ICE custody. He seperated families and children from parents yet no protest. He even gave Homan a medal for a good just buy today the same Homan is a Nazi and Gestapo because he's now working under Trump. Nonsense. https://immigrantjustice.org/press-release/report-shows-poor-medical-care-led-to-deaths-at-u-s-detention-centers/

And any suggestions for something related to LandMan? Yeah I enjoyed the season 3. It's the best so far. The plot and twists is something else although the ambassador was so annoying. |

afrodoc2: Someone like Nicky Butt should not even be misyarning. He is not Scholes level but because Scholes dey misyarn he too put mouth. Carragher's criticism was even more reasonable and respectful. Butt, Scholes and I'll even throw in Neville and Keane. The way they attack the players is bordering on agenda. I doubt if you see that in any other big club. |

GloriousGbola: The nyt article is not claiming there is not persecution of Christians in northern Nigeria. It is calling attention to the fact that the case for genocide of Christians in Nigeria may be premised off false and made up information.
Saddam was a dictator who gassed kurds with chemical weapons. But when the US went after him, they claimed he had wmd proper.
If the trump admin cannot filter and source for accurate information, tomorrow they may decide that facts someone spews from his arse on this thread are hard data. How did you know the White House sourced their info from the screwdriver seller and didn't do proper intelligence gathering on the matter? |

izzou: That's my fear too.
Putting the man's life at risk. If he is killed even by malaria, it becomes a Muslim Christian issue.
I really don't know how a whole New York Times would report such.
A Screwdriver seller that no Nigerian knew, is the one that manipulated a whole USA? It's hilarious watching the likes of Onye Nkuzi and his fellow members of the DNC Nigerian branch crashing out over that report. Dem see liberal propaganda, dem shock. |

So I am taking the positives and waiting to see how our final third output will change moving forward. It's still Arsenal's title to lose. Any other team will be delighted to be in you guys position. You can't win every game cos EPL no easy. Still extended your lead at the top today, that's a solid positive. |

main24: Win or loss is irrelevant, the most important thing is we don't get carried away. The root cause of Man U's problem has not been addressed.
ETH won trophy but still got sacked, Ole beat Man city but still got sacked, Mourinho finished 2nd but still got sacked,...the list goes on.
Most fans jumping upandan now will soon ask for Carrick to be sacked when the going gets tough (and it will), forgetting that the root cause of the problem is not the manager.
In conclusion, I might be wrong, what the hell do I even know hahahahahahahah. You lost me in the first statement....which one is win or lose is irrelevant...why then was Amorim and Ten Hag and the others before them sacked? I don't understand you Amorimsexuals, we beat our City rivals comprehensively at home and you guys are sad about it ......Omo |

main24: We will revisit this quote after 10 to 20 games from Carrick. I might be wrong and he will be the messiah we've been waiting for. But it's too early too judge. - Infact I am indeed worried he started with a win. I might be wrong, time will tell. You wanted him to start with a lose at home? 🤨🤨 |
