Iran always wanted a nuke. Building a facility 300m deep in a mountain says so much about the intention. And they didn’t just enrich their uranium, they stonewalled IAEA inspections, hid facilities, and escalated tensions through thier proxies. That’s not negotiation, that’s just nuclear blackmail imo.

And I agree with you that diplomacy is ideal. But trusting someone who’s arming the kitchen while saying they don’t want to cook requires more than just good faith, it requires memory loss.

Iran wants sanctions removed and trade deals not nukes.
Its missile stockpile is its primary deterrent.
Its nuclear latency is its secondary deterrent.

Iran does not want to be North Korea.
