Maladaise: Take a look at the table with 3 full games to go. Gabon is likely going to finish second from their group and they already have 18 points! That is with 3 games left to play. Look at Cameroon's group. Cameroon, at second, already has 15 points with three games to play.
No second place team from Nigeria's group will get to the World Cup. Take that to the bank. It isnt happening. Moreover, let me add -- there will be multiple second placed teams that will finish no less than the 19 points that Nigeria cannot overcome even if Nigeria wins the group. The only route is to win the group and win by huge margins. South Africa already understands this and their agenda is to run up scores making South Africa v Nigeria + forfeiture forced by FIFA irrelevant. Our only path is to run up scores BIG!!
What this means is that Nigeria must win her remaining games with nothing less than 3 goals, starting from tomorrow...if it means packing the bus and scoring those goals on the counter with 25% possession, so be it. This one done pass further maths Na physics we dey so |

Dannyxy: Nigeria has what it takes to win all 4 games, it’s just mentality that will matter, can our players be dogged enough in mentality and approach to chew this teams as they should be chewed.
We don’t have the Ghanas, Ivory Coast, Egypts in our group, even with this strong African teams, it’s a 50/50 chance, and Nigeria can qualify.
That we are in this situation is because of a poor winning and national team mentality from our players, they keep underperforming and being complacent, they don’t have mentality to beat this smaller teams, fear factor is big deal, and it starts with approach, slip ups can happen and this smaller teams get unexpected wins or draws sometimes, but the truth someone needs to tell our players is that their mentality is very poor, their approach and attitude is very average, it’s not a talent thing, a team with players in very competitive leagues is dragging points with Lesotho, Rwanda, Zimbabwean.
Super eagles players so far have let us down, if they come in with the ready to fight and qualify mindset, bring their A game, we will blow this 4 teams away, and it will not be small win, the fans can doubt but the players must believe it and be ready to do it by all means, man you need to see North African and South Americans fight to win football games, they are warriors.
The only player fighting in that team is osimhen, if the 10 others can also improve on their approach, Rwanda and South Africa will be down 3-0 each by half time, but if we continue with this weak mentality and approach, we drag 0-0, then because we all of a sudden want to score in last 20 minutes, we get hit by 1-0 on a counter by Rwanda, then go draw in South Africa.
And we do not deserve qualification with such poor mentality, we would just be making numbers at the mundial. They have what it takes no doubt But just buy ur inhaler, just Incase Na Naija be this But fingers crossed we will qualify |

mostob: Bro, I just need two clarifications from you.
1. Where was it said that FIFA communicated to RSA that the player been discussed is eligible? A link or a legit source will be appreciated.
2. In reference to (1), are you saying Rohr/NFF deliberately played Shehu even after FIFA already communicated his ineligibility? Or let's assume that FIFA made a mistake by saying he was eligible when he is not, why then were we punished for the offence? Inasmuch as we all want the best for the super eagles Complaining about 3 points deduction looks shameful to me Sha. Even if FIFA will deduct points it will be after the whole tournaments not now. Why can't we just win our games and qualify with honour? |

You can't justify immorality by saying it's only content creation. So it means a girl can show or dangle her boobs or pussy in public and she can be justified by calling it content creation? You obviously don't know anything about women or morality. You have a very long way to go. My bro..don't over explain urself My problem with most Nigerians is that they are quick to judge people and they all have a particular (band wagon) way of thinking. You have to agree with the majority take. A girl can shake her butt online and it might be mere dancing or just to have page traffic Most times we add much meaning to things Alright, imagine Janemena happily twerking in Husband house till now I used to criticize her b4 until one day I thought "what if it's all for content" Don't always believe what u see online Times have changed, country is hard people are trying different things to survive It's all about understanding among the 2 lovers Either ways, I'm not a fan |

Health › Re: A Thread For Those Suffering From Depression Or Anxiety Disorders by Elock1: 4:47pm On Jun 17, 2025 |
depressionkills: Hi Im new here, And would like to know if there is any other people who are suffering or have suffered from depression or anxiety and how they have manged to deal with. For me, the main issue when it comes to depression is the huge ignorance and narrow-mindness of African people who trivialize it and even go the the extend of bullying or condemning suicidal people instead of providing the love, support and care they need during their vulnerability. All that in the name of religion, when religion preach non judgment and love SMH hypocrites!!
I am sick of the sigma and taboo surrounding metal illness. I am sick of the appalling and inhuman ways mentally ill people are treated in Africa or in African communities. The UN classes depression as one of the most wide-spread diseases in the world and one of the deadliest, yet most African people want to remain stubbornly ignorant about it.
I would like this thread to be some sort of refuge where people who feel vulnerable can come and expose their grief, express themselves without any prejudice or judgement, share their hardships and maybe provide tips or advise. I want to build a small network of support so that any African who feel depressed and suicidal know that they are loved and supported, cared for and most importantly NOT ALONE.
Depression is rampant in Africa, people are just blind to it, so many of us are depressed but don know it mainly because of the lack of amenities and facilities to treat and diagnose mental illness properly. My uncle suffered from it all his life. My mum and her siblings would call him lazy and berate because he couldnt leaveve his bed, had difficulty doing things and he found refuge in alcohol, became an alcoholic and died at the tender age of 33 - just like Jesus Chirtst. So it runs in my family. Even my great-grand-ma hanged herself. Had they been supported and cared for properly none of this would have happened. They were amazing people who could have done so much for their community yet depression killed them and destroyed their relatives who loved them.
As for me, I am 24yo, havent graduated yet because of my anxiety and depression, I have no job, feel lonely and pessimistic about the future and often suicidal and often feel like I will be dead by the time I am 30 too.
So if you need to talk, I am here. If you feel bum out because you cant function, be 'productive' remember that the chemical imbalance that cause depression is NOT YOUR FAULT, that your worth as human being is UNCONDITIONAL and that you are loved and precious xoxoxo.
Hello can I ask you a few questions please |

do you know how many strikers chelsea have signed that flopped ... but naa osimhen salary go run chelsea bankrupt
dey play you still don't get it... A lot happens behind the scenes my man Chelsea really want Osimhen but a lot is happening behind the scene... Many big teams have tried to sign him but failed, And you can't say it's because he is African but for big teams to keep missing out on him shows theres something really holding them back. |

theredaddy: Even if i admit different teams have different salary structures, lets not forget we have seen almost all this teams pay out rageous salary to players, like arsenal paid Ozil over 300k, How does a Bruno fernandez deserve 375k per week in Man U and we think Osimen is over price If Chelsea could pay enzo fernandez €315k per week i dont see the logic why they cant pay Osimen what he is asking for That's what I'm saying, they've considered their salary structure and don't think osimhen is a valuable asset .. sometimes, it's just business..and if they fumble and run the club to the club na still Una go say "poor management" |

tunapawizzy: If it was Erling Haaland that demanded that wage 2 years ago, they would gladly pay. They can sign him on loan and run down his contract and pay him what he wants.if they don't want to break wage structure, they can pay the player sign on fee and still his weekly wage within the limit set by the club. They can arrange asset for him to cover the difference.
If the man wants 10m a year- e worth am If Chelsea no wan use his high wage to upset the standard at the club, e make sense too that's the issue... Chelsea aren't willing to go through that risk for obvious reasons |

Mind you, City has the grace to throw around money and they've been successful over the years hence this high salary is a way of keeping the players happy.. But we are talking about Chelsea here, they (Chelsea) might be considering the fact that he is; -injury prone -Afcon interruption -earning higher than other teammates who have been putting in the work can destroy harmony in some teams -Even rumours here and there about his attitude (just saying) We all wish the best for him and I want him in the prem but last last football is business and the board members have to do the plus and minus behind the scenes |

E no hard to identify people way no get vision. So them no dey break record for England or people way dey play for England no be human being like am? GeneralPula: I’ll prefer Viktor Gyokeres..
Epl matter dey get as e be. Osibobo fit come England now make things change for ham… My advice for Osibobo is to remain at Galetasary and keep breaking records.. Chelsea's biggest issue with osimhen is his wages 75 millions for signing is high enough Not to talk of over 10m salary annually Although he seems injury prone and one dimensional, nevertheless he is efficient, physical, defensive and aggressive in front of goal So the gamble is now on Chelsea Wish to see him in England though |
