Satellite TV TechnologyRe: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by elpaso007: 5:20pm On Mar 29
Hello Everyone.

I am thinking of 3.6Kwh ColaSolar portable solar generator with Jinko solar for a small house setup.

My estimation of the total base load is about 800W - 1000W (including a Deep Freezer) with occasional usage of appliances like Blender (800W).

Kindly advice on the best way to go about this . Thanks
Science/TechnologyAdvice On Small Home Solar Solution by elpaso007(op): 12:16pm On Mar 28
Hello Experts & Pros.

I am looking for a simple solution to power a small home with a base load of 1KW and occasional load of upto 3.0KW when appliances like the Blender are in use.

So I'm looking for pair Jinko panels with ColaSolar 3.6KWh+ solar generator.

Can anyone with experience of using ColaSolar generator advice on how reliable this equipment is?

Thanks

Hmm... The founder is dead? I didn't know that. Did he die recently? That's sad though.

But one will believe they ought to have a system in place to sustain the business beyond him.

Financial institutions tend to have a better structure & succession planning.

Not only capital raise, I hope SEC/NGX should be strong on QoS & customer experience too.

What else than, perhaps, the founder and original visioner is no more, and the biz is fallen into the hand of a mediocre?

I am worried about them too. Something is amiss there. The quality of service has fallen off. It is too significant for one not to notice.
From time lag during trade sessions to unusually delayed payouts and sell funds not being instantly available for repurchase.

I wondering what could be responsible for this? Loss of quality staffs? Low fees?

Thanks for your response. I will exercise patience as advised but also be on the out look for updates.
sterlingD:
For the bonus you will exercise patience well well.It is subject to approval from SEC and it takes time. For example the bonus shares declared by Regency Alliance insurance from last year till now is yet to be allocated.

Meanwhile be reaching to the registrars they will give you update.

Thank you for your response. I just wanted to be sure i was not missing out. s
emmasoft:
@elpaso007, when it comes to bonus, it's not like cash dividend that has a set date for payment; there are many protocols involved from regulators before it can be credited to qualified shareholders. In the NGX, some bonuses declared more than a year ago have still not been credited till now.
For bonus, once you know you are qualified, there's just one thing you should do: be patient it's when you see you get.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by elpaso007: 3:41pm On Mar 09
Hi. Good afternoon. Can you confirm if you have you been credited with the bonus shares as well? There was a proposed bonus of 1 for 5 besides the #3 dividend. As anyone else been credited with these? Thanks @Sunrisepebble

Is the market going crazy?! ASI is at190K!

I thought 180k at Q1's end was exceptional but at 190K, I'm getting scared o. embarassed.

I have been waiting for a pull back for some weeks now but there's no sign of that yet.

I love the greens but I am cautious too.

As it is, how much correction will be healthy for stocks like MTN, GTB, Aradel & the likes ?

In my case, i started out investing with less than a million but I diligently commited to increasing my equity portfolio.

A fixed percentage of the profits from projects is marked for that purpose.

The portfolio has gone up significantly from where I started from.

So I'll urge the poster to start their journey too. Nothing is too small to with.

Selah.

I didn't pick up my rights too. And it was cheaper on the floor then though. But depending on your investing philosophy, most analysts will still put a buy recommendation on it sha. It is a good stock to have in your portfolio

As in... Onome is one of the solid guys that covers NGX space FOR FREE. Why someone will try to disparage his hard work is more than distasteful.

And to Onome, some of us value and respect your contribution to the growth of the NGX. I have been a fan since your days at Nairametrics and your time on Smooth FM's business morning with Rotus. Keep up the good work!

Excerpts from Cardianlstone weekly MEP reports:

Meanwhile, FTSE Russell announced the inclusion of Nigeria on its watch
list for potential reclassification from unclassified to frontier market
status, a move that reflects growing confidence in the country’s
improving foreign exchange environment and ability to facilitate capital
repatriation. The index provider will review Nigeria’s status again in
March 2026, and if the reclassification is confirmed, we expect it to
enhance Nigeria’s visibility to global investors and potentially attract
renewed inflows from passive funds tracking FTSE Frontier Market
indices.

This week, we anticipate selective buying in the market as investors
position ahead of Q3’25 earnings releases
. We will closely monitor
market movements for attractive entry points, particularly in
fundamentally strong names. If necessary, midweek changes will be
made, with updates communicated through the Daily Market Summary
to ensure the portfolio remains optimally positioned."
