Dear Sisters and brothers on this forum, please i need your advise badly.

For those whose mothers or mother in law have had to apply for visa to be with them at childbirth, is it advisable they apply before or after their daughter's arrival to the US. I am just afraid of stories that touch the heart (visa being cancelled etc), on the other hand, i want to apply earlier enough so we can go together.

My mum applied after me( due to logistics though) and her purpose for travel was to help her Daughter who is having a baby. She went with all the payments, hospital correspondence etc but says it was not even checked

Please help !!!
