Atiku is a DISASTER, not an option. |
And there are universities in the south that don't even consider northerners (particularly Muslims) for admission. |

London - Around 160 requests a day were made in late 2017 to access pornography websites from computers within the Houses of Parliament, Britain's Press Association (PA) reported on Monday. A total of 24 473 attempts were made since last June's general election from devices connected to the parliamentary network, according to data obtained by a PA Freedom of Information (FOI) request. Prime Minister Theresa May is already reeling from a wave of sexual misconduct allegations in Westminster. She was forced to dump minister and long-time friend Damian Green last month after he apparently misled police over claims pornography was found on computers in his Westminster office in 2008. The parliamentary internet network is used by MPs, Lords in the upper house and their staff. Authorities claim most attempts are not deliberate and point to a decrease in recent years. Parliament blocked 113 208 attempts in 2016, down from 213 020 the previous year. "All pornographic websites are blocked by parliament's computer network," a parliamentary spokesperson told PA. "The vast majority of 'attempts' to access them are not deliberate. "This data also covers personal devices used when logged on to parliament's guest Wi-Fi." Trump slams Nigerians for not returning to their ‘huts’ after seeing America — Report December 23, 2017Samuel Ogundipe United States’ President Donald Trump described Nigerians as people living in huts which they would not want to return to whenever they visit America, the New York Times reported Saturday. The paper published accounts of some administration officials who were present at a meeting about the administration’s immigration policy in June. Mr. Trump has pushed controversial immigration policies since becoming American president in January. Amongst his first policies was to ban visits from several countries — mostly from the middle east. The policy has been overturned and upheld by different American courts. The Times reported that Mr. Trump had a ready-made excuse for almost all the countries his controversial immigration policy targeted. He said he was banning people from Afghanistan because the country was a terrorist haven. When asked about why he was restricting people from Haiti, he described them as being infested with AIDS. On Nigerians, Mr. Trump said they would never “go back to their huts” in Africa, the Times reported, citing two officials who were presented at the meeting held in Mr. Trump’s office but who sought anonymity. Although some administration officials acknowledged that the meeting took place, they denied that the president used “AIDS” and “huts” at the meeting. Nigeria was eventually not included in the list of countries whose nationals were banned from entering America. https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/253398-trump-slams-nigerians-not-returning-huts-seeing-america-report.html |
Ograke:Saying "the most simplest" is not necessarily a grammatical blunder. Tautologies are permitted where emphasis is on emphasis. Thanks. |
stolid:But even 'opportune' is an adjective, and not a verb as used in the phrase above. Saying "if I were OPPORTUNE to..." is like saying "if I were WALKED to" since you've used opportune as though it was a verb. The best word that fits into your construction is 'privileged', not "opportune." Example of how opportune is used as an adjective is: "If not for Buhari's OPPORTUNE victory at the polls, Nigeria would've become uninhabitable under the PDP-led government." |

It is a BIG shame that all CAN could offer was fasting and prayers. This same CAN whose leadership cruises around in private jets worth millions of dollars could not release a meager N3m to save one of its notable members from the hands of kidnappers. How wicked, inconsiderate, selfish, and above all political for the Christian body to have left this pastor to his faith for 70 ugly days in the kidnappers' den. |

k These people are surrendering in order to create the impression that NA is winning the war. This surrendering trend may just be another tactic by Boko guys to regroup themselves and reel off new future attacks in more sinister and deadly fashions. |
