Folks dont know all about constant kinetics and speed. When a car A is doing a constant 160km/h, and car B is 25m behind yet doing constant 160km/h, theres no way B will catch up with A.
If a honda accord V6 gets to 160km/h in 23secs, and a C230 does 160km/h in 27secs, theres no way the C230 can meet up the accord unless the accord decelerates or the c230 accelerates.
100km/h in accord is still 100km/h in MB (assuming both has same speedo error margin and are at constant 100km/h speed).
Reason why the accord migh not feel much more involving to drive is becase of its drive configuration which is FF whearas an MB is FR/FA, the suspension setups and weight distribution.
That said, the Honda has a much lighter tuned steering than the MB, its also got a multi link rear suspensions with upper and lower arms in front which is a very engaging setup and offers some sporty feel to the Honda.
Verdict: the honda accord V6 will rape the MB C230 over and over.
Source: real life testing of both cars on a constant 120km/h cruise for a 76km distance in which the honda never gave me any lag but i felt lagged in the MB.

Stop over speeding, its wrong, its illegal besides, I no trust Peugeot's brakes system. All Peugeots I've test driven none have a brake system that gives me confidence.
Besides, I've seen with my own eyes as a Hummer number (Toyota hiace bus) which was fully loaded tried to over take a peugeot 406 in Zuba, both of them started racing, an unfortunate student of College of education crossed the road, the bus and the peugeot stepped on their brakes, the bus came to a halt, but the Peugeot brakes locked, sliding the car till it hit the girl who died on the spot, and then the car stopped some yards. On sensing the danger, he zoomed off.

a Japanese v6 will surely defeat an MB in city driving/race due to the heavy nature of MB, even the 550 models that have a 5.5 liter v8 take about 5.5secs to hit 60mph, a 3.0 v6 Japanese car will do that for u in about the same time because it has less weight. But on the long run, those japs don't stand a chance. Anything from 80mph and above, u will think that japmobile is reversing.. if u ask me, MB are not meant to be driven very fast like a maniac in the city, I think that drops their class, u are not even suppose to drive more than 70mph in the city and accelerate moderately, maybe that's all part of the German engineering , u wana race, get on the freeway or get an open road!

Get the Benz if you WANT a refined adult car or get the Accord if you NEED a basic transportation vehicle.

If you're comparing a Mercedes to an Accord then just get the Accord.
You don't need a Benz, you want one in order to experience the marque.

I just hope all of us talking about the performance of these two vehicles have driven them both, not quoting what they saw on the net. U will surely enjoy ur honda in city driving because it accelerates faster, less weight than the Merc and more space. But when it comes to journey and freeway driving, that honda doesn't stand a chance. Mercedes benz are very heavy cars, u will need to stand on that throttle for it to move, but when it does, na only one God oh! I don't think that the honda having more HP than the Merc proves that it is faster. Put them both to test, LIVE, and see how it goes. OP I suggest u do that. U will end up buying the Mercedes.

An accord V6 can go more than 130 miles per hour most times they're limited electronically.

For size alone, I go with accord but for travelling purposes, I go with the C230, although I know the V6 accord will dust it on the expressway.

The accord V6 is a monster on the road. Faster than a C230. The accord is a bigger car its classified as Midsized sedan, while the W203 is a compact sedan. The Honda Accord EX-L V6 is a much more luxurious vehicle than the W230 even though its classified as a mid class vehicle.
Its cheaper to run, own and maintain, parts are abound and technicians are abound. The Accord is sleeker than the W203. The W203 can handle sustained high speeds than the Honda accord due to its drive configuration.

As much as the C230 will chew the Accord, the benz is just cramped up to me and miniature I will pick the discussion continues over the C230 I don't enjoy miniature style
