I have attended for Chevron but it was online. Safe to say I have not written any Exam as hard as that before , hopefully Seplat own is not has technical has Chevron own . They were all scenario based questions and very technical calculations if you haven’t been active in the role advertised it will be very difficult. We were shown the question, you will solve and type calculations into the answer box and submit . This is the narration of one of the guys that took the test too . “ Good day everyone. I applied for the facilities and petroleum engineer positions, wrote the aptitude test, got invited to write both petroleum and facilities engineering skill test.

My experience with the petroleum engineering skill test was terrible. Wasn't mentally prepared for questions that technical, ran out of space to calculate on paper and was quite challenging given that I didn't study petroleum, chemical or process engineering.

The facilities engineering skill test was much better. There were 5 sections: electrical, mechanical, civil, process and project management. I spent a total of 4 hours and used up 7 pages of higher education paper to write my answers.

The petroleum and facilities engineer skills test were on Nov 22 and 23 respectively.

I’m really confused with this , different mails were sent to me to write for both Facilities and asset integrity scheduled for the same time . When I got to the page to select test both level 1 and Level 2 links were there , I didn’t know which is which so I started with level 1 when I was done I did level 2 also . So these one that people are saying level 1 is for technician level 2 is for engineers I’m confused.

someone who wrote facility test Aptitude test was given petroleum engineering skill test. So how come , are these people joking

That’s because the person applied for two positions and Dragnet used the score for the facilities Engineer aptitude test to grade them for the petroleum Engineer position.

For Pet Eng! The questions weren’t that bad for someone who has practiced for a few years. The only snag was the browser freezing multiple times and then no calculator. I was having to keep logging back in until I got to question 12 and couldn’t log in again. Absolutely terrible testing experience.

For someone that has few years experience it won’t be a problem, they said 0-2 years experience, I was expecting basic petroleum engineering questions even if they will give calculations I was expecting normal Darcy equations and co .

I was praying for it to end complex calculations and you have to type calculations no calculator it was frustrating

I can't select 1st (of any month) as my date of birth on the firs website, but I can select any other day. Since yesterday I've tried everything. I'm afraid to use different date as it cannot be changed later on. Please any solution?

I had the same issue , Once you get to the month click the arrow to show the previous month it will display first of your birthday month select first it will work like that .
