I don't know what transpired on the day of protest but a part of my mind is telling me those guys were unjustly suspended. I don't blame the management because most of the student Union have sold themselves. They are now slaves to the management.
For example, in The Polytechnic Ibadan, a lot of abnormalities are going on and the union seemed not concerned.
Imagine an institution mandating students to pay for Internet service whereby we haven't seen the service.
Our hostels are dilapidated, and so many other problems I can't mention yet.
Until student unions are bold and stop fighting for their own selfish interests the management will continue to trample on our rights.
