Politics / Re: 2015: Enugu Imploding, Chime's Political Fortune In Final Days by emexc: 6:27am On Nov 24, 2014
all this media war against the most outstanding governor by the deputy Senate president's e-rats will yield little result. by virtue of his position, the governor is the leader of the party in the state, so he undisputably has the party structure.

Politics / Presidential media chat- Phone lines deliberately cut-off by emexc: 9:29pm On Jun 24, 2012
How can GEJ talk for two hours in a phone-in programme on a national television with just only one person getting connected to speak with him. I tried calling d line and it was not connecting, i feel it was deliberate. Does it mean GEJ is afraid of defending his achievements on air? Your opinion please

Politics / Nigeria Is Sinking by emexc: 5:33am On May 16, 2012
In my opinion, i think this administration has failed nigerians. Fuel @ N97 per litre and plans are on for more increase. By june 2012, new increment in phcn tarrif will take effect still no improvement in power. Corruption now at its highest level inthe history of nigeria according to transparency international. Insecurity @ its peak. Most federal roads in worst shape. Infact the list is endless. All the money that obj saved when he was president has gone to the thin air without any quality project to show to justify the spending. The president doesn't match his words with action, he has not brought any single boko haram member to book since he started promising us that. What about the ultimatum he gave to cement manufacturers to crash the price of cement or ...., cement price as at today is N2300 soon it will hit N3000. I feel the country is sinking deeper in the mud under this present administration, what do u think guys?

1. Removal of fuel subsidy. 2. Depletion of our foreign reserve. 3. Re introduction of toll gate. 4. Introduction of islamic banking. 5. Endless increment on phcn tarriff, the list is endless. One thing has been established in view of the above mentioned, GEJ and SANUSI are seriously confussed. But in your opinion who is more confussed than the other?

Nairaland / General / Erastus Akingbola by emexc: 6:57pm On Oct 09, 2011
Its sad hw erastus akingbola was painted black b4 nigerians. D truth remains dat d economic meltdown of 2009 really messed ibplc up,as it did 2 many other banks but it was capitalized on to rubbish akingbola. To me i feel d man doesn't deserve d kind of ill treatmnt he got considering all d effort he put since 1989 to grow intercontinental from a merchant bank to dis current position.
Nairaland / General / Erastus Akingbola by emexc: 11:50pm On May 17, 2011
D easiest way 2 kil a dog is 2 give it a bad name n then kill it. Forget d ugly picture d current cbn governor is painting about akingbola. Akingbola started intercontinental bank as a merchant bank in 1989 n grew it 2 where it was b4 cbn's intervention,if he was dat bad d bank wouldn't have gotten 2 dat level. Am not trying 2 say dat he is a saint,he must hv made some mistakes but he really helped so many families thru massive employment n even d economy.we shld try n find out d state of d banks/economy b4 n after d interventn, banks are nw sacking there staff massively instead of employing, banks hardly gv loans dis days. Due 2 sanusi's careless utterances, many foreign investors left, consider d xchange rate of naira 2 dollar b4 n during sanusi's tenor, also consider d rating of nig banks b4 n during sanusi's tenor. I sincerely believe dat things were not as bad as we were told, its just dat he took advantage of d recession in d world economy 2 do what he did.

Great people of Imo state, the Great Lord that did it on 26th of April 2011, has not changed, He will still do it again on 6th May 2011. Let us all come out and vote/guard our votes for Rochas till he is finally declared the winner of the guber election in Imo state. Ohakim's case will be worse than Gbagbo's own cos 9 out of every 10 persons in Imo state don't like him. Ohakim must go!!!

NYSC / Re: Should Youth Service (n Y S C) Be Cancelled In Nigeria? by emexc: 10:56am On Apr 26, 2011
In my own opinion, scrapping won't be d best option. Repackaging it in such a way dat corpers of southern extractn serve in south while people from north serve in any northern state wil make more sense than d current practise

Nairaland / General / Re: Watch This Video Of An Icon Of Change In Imo State by emexc: 6:33am On Apr 01, 2011
D Gov of Imo state has nothing to show for the four yrs he has been in office. Go to port harcourt and enugu and see d wonders d 2 governors are performing, enugu is not an oil producing state like Imo and d gov is doing dis much. We are just tired of d present govt in Imo state. My prayer is dat our votes will count dis time around, as dis is d time 4 reward.
