@electromagneto and other gurus, I have applied for MSc program at the University Jean Monnet but I want to know of to choose private or university housing as this question is part of the application process. Is CROUS private housing?

Thanks

Crous is for students and sometimes, can be the cheapest accommodation. Private or public accommodation does not affect visa application, what matters is your housing contract which is one of the needed documents.

He probably thought I was an empty head that's too lazy to use Google. Most of the schools in France have websites that aren't user friendly. The few one's I have seen that have correct sites are IESEG biz School, Grenoble, HEC biz School and INSEAD biz School but they are all top biz schools and are very expensive. So I saw where he mentioned that there are cheap schools and I politely asked him to mention just one and he replied in a degrading way. It's annoying.
If you have any questions then shoot at me, I connected with folks there and I could help you get your questions across but I got a not too interesting view of France from a French college at work and she said there aren't too many jobs especially for non nationals and the French people aren't very receptive to non whites and non French people. But hey the education is worth it and their degrees are top notch. One of the best in the world.

Ogatboy gave the right information, if you can't use masterportal, try campusFrance website to check for schools that teaches in English. The French people are good but it's true about job, if you want to come to France to work, it's better you don't waste your money as it's not easy to get a job and most of the available jobs are for French speakers. I hope this helps.

Hello, I just started application for MSC in som schools in France, I have tried checking other pages for students in France especially prospective students to share information and ideas but I got none. I have started my application but will like to know if there is anyone in my shoes so that we can run the application together and won't mind meeting students who are already in France.
