TITHE can't be narrowed down to only the tenth of the increase of our agricultural produce. Though some of them were mentioned, because most of them(Israelite) back then were predominantly farmers. E.g in Lev27:30, says "And all the tithes of the land, WHETHER of the seed of the land, OR of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord: it is holy onto the Lord. U see the bible is not specific here, that it MUST BE crops not cash.

Concerning where tithes are to be sent to.

Tithes are sent to different places at different era. E.g, Abraham didn't send his tithe to the Levites. See Gensis14:20. but the Israelites did as commanded by Moses. So if we pay ours to the church bank account for the progress of work of God, I don't think it is out of place.

In the new testament, JESUS DIDN'T TEACH US NOT to pay tithes.If it was wrong, HE would have told us. Rather HE emphasized true righteousness first before tithing.

That's what HE is saying in matt23:23, "Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, for you pay tithe of mint and anise and Cummins, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith; these (law, judgment, mercy & faith ) ought you to have DONE(First ), And NOT TO LEAVE THE OTHER(TITHING) UNDONE. See also Luke 11:42

Rivers state university(formerly RSUST) putme processing which started on Monday, 04 Sept. The screening exercise, unlike usual just kicked off yesterday Monday, 11 Sept. As I went for my own screening today, which was scheduled by 2pm. I happens to find out that some persons are still on their own processing. Don't just know sha, how some will be writing exam while some aren't done with their registration. Anyway I thank God that mine has come and gone successfully. Although, there was a little kind of challenge, I must tell you it wasn't really easy guy. Anyway we got to do it all the same. Couldn't imagine, having applied for law, these people gave me 20 questions from mathematics out of 50 questions to answer. And your guy got no clue about that, guess what? It was like a very big mess. However, got my reverse one and three over 50. Just pray I get my admission this year, and get out of this their damn putme of a thing. So if you are an RSU applicant, you can share your experience and relevant info here with us. Lets discuss it together. Wish you all the best.
