Please stay away from this company: AMERICAN EXPORT SERVICE INTERNATIONAL - based in down town Los Angeles. I shipped some items from california and I didn't get the package until after a month. Tried them again and this time, the package arrived lagos after 7 days and its over a week, clearance is still in progress. Been calling them for an update at least but they don't answer call or reply emails.
But I have used sgk global shipping service based in houston. They give tracking number once items are dispatched. They are effective and reliable. Takes 5 days for packages to reach lagos.

Do you buy items from US? Be careful not to fall in the wrong hands. Look for clients that have used the company so you'll have an idea of the quality of service. I have tried a couple and trust me, you should stay away from: AMERICAN EXPORT SERVICE INTERNATIONAL: they dont reply emails, they dont answer phone calls and it takes forever to get your items delivered. Please be mindful when picking cargo companies unless if you will need the items in 6 months. that will be enough time to get your package

I have been using sgk global shipping services fro the past 3 years . even though they are based in houston, i pay fedex to deliver my packages to houston and it takes 3 days - cost is about 30usd. sgl global will give you tracking number and it takes items 5 working days to hit lagos. they ship only on saturdays. i tried another company based in LA, California : AMERICAN EXPORT SERVICE INTERNATIONAL : they dont reply mails, they dont answer phone calls in both the LA office and the Lagos office. my packages arrived their lagos office and stayed for 3 weeks and they didnt contact me. i had to call the LA office and luck was with me that day because they answered my call. i decided to try them again, this time its worse. my package arrived lagos on wednesday and they are yet to clear it and as usual, they dont answer calls. stay away from AMERICAN EXPORT SERVICE INTERNATIONAL - incompetence, bad customer service

I used the company twice - first time, my packages arrived lagos and stayed in their office for 3 weeks and the lagos office didnt contact me, until i contacted the LA office. Decided to give them benfit of doubt and tried them again. this time, the packages reach lagos and its almost a week now they have not been able to clear. But you can try the company if the items you are purchasing will be needed in 6 months time. incompetence, bad customer service. terrible.
