MEET THE CHRIST APOSTOLIC CHURCH BEST SUNDAY SCHOOL CANDIDATE OF YEAR 2018

Sister Elizabeth Omowunmi Ogunbode popularly known as SISTER LIZZY was born at Satellite Town,Festac Area in Lagos state. Who Hailed from Modakeke ,Ife East local Govt. Area in Osun state, Nigeria. She completed her primary school education at BEGINNERS NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL and her secondary education at SATELLITE SECONDARY SCHOOL SATELLITE TOWN OJO LOCAL GOVT AREA IN LAGOS STATE. Sister Elizabeth O. Ogunbode is a graduate of Mass Communication from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye, Ogun state in Nigeria.

She is an active member of Christ Apostolic Church, English Assembly, Dutse Zone in Abuja.

She serves actively in the ICT department of the church and a distinct member of the district youth executive, DISTRICT YOUTH FINANCIAL SECRETARY . She also serves in the Drama department of the church. She is a strong motivator in all the departments she serves.

She is a strong vocal in the national youth choir, Medayese Region. She sings to bring the glory of God to manifestation in any gathering she has the opportunity to minister.

Sister Elizabeth O. Ogunbode is punctual and participate actively in every Sunday school class. Her consistency and commitment in the Sunday school class gave her the role of a leader in the class to mark the attendance.

Sister Elizabeth O. Ogunbode, though an applicant, is an active, committed and faithful child of God. She has devoted most of her time to the service of God. As we know that no-one would do for God that God would not reward here on earth and in heaven.

Coming out as First Position in the 2018 Christ Apostolic Church National Sunday School Examination, CAC World Wide and the entire World celebrate her today.

A notorious house breaker was caught early hour of this morning in elekahia, Portharcourt. this boy has been disturbing the community for years, last month this same boy came to my Compound and stole 3 different phones with his gang. early hour of today around 4am in the morning this same guy came to my Neighbor house and enter their room through the toilet to get access to the room before he was caught. after serious beating of his life the confession started tripping from his mouth, he said they use charms to identifies phones and money from people room before caring out their operation and immediately they enter the room they pour charms powder on the victim to enable the person to sleep off. two person has be arrested by the police and investigation is on as one Williams is wanted by the police officers.
this one of the things we face here in rivers state...

The Port Harcourt division of the appeal court has ruled that Ali Modu Sheriff is the legitimate chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
A three-man panel of justices delivered judgment on the PDP leadership tussle – between Sheriff and Ahmed Makarfi on Friday.

This judgment is one in a series of judgments on the impasse.

Mohammed Liman, justice of the federal high court, Rivers state, had sacked Sheriff as chairman of the PDP, while the Abuja division of the court, presided over by Okon Abang had declared Ahmed Makarfi’s caretaker committee as illegal.

Owing to the conflicting judgments by the lower courts, both parties went to appeal to seek redress.

Makarfi challenged the decision of Abang at the Abuja division of the appeal court, but the court could not take a decision because Sheriff had already filed a suit challenging his removal by a high court in Rivers.

The PDP leadership crisis started in May 2016 at its national convention in Port Harcourt.

Sheriff had called for a cancellation of the exercise when he got wind of the alleged plot of some party leaders to remove him.

But the convention went on as planned, during which a caretaker committee chaired by Makarfi was set up.

Legal battles and intrigues between the factions then ensued.

The General Overseer of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Worldwide, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has said there is dearth of good leadership in Nigeria, adding that the church is the worst hit.
Baba Adeboye explained that the problem of corruption in Nigeria was traceable to lack of contentment and greed.

The cleric spoke on Wednesday in Ikeja, Lagos, during the Third Annual Birthday Public Lecture organised by the church to commemorate his 75th birthday.

Adeboye, who was represented by his wife, Folu, expressed sadness at the lack of true leadership in the society, calling for a return to cultural values.

He said, “Leadership is at the core of our problem in this nation. Some people sit in their room and comment on newspaper articles, but have you removed the log in your eyes?

“If there is anywhere leadership should be recommended, it should be from the church. But it is unfortunate that the worst leadership is from the church. We should go and check ourselves. Are we in true leadership or we are in falsehood? Because this has been the groaning of my heart for many years and I pray about it fervently.

“I challenge the leaders in this church that what the Bible says about elders, I have not seen it. But things are changing and I want us to be part of that change.

“The problem of corruption which we have in this nation would not have been there if everybody is contented with what he or she has. But people love to do more than they have. They want to show off to their children, and the children also when they get to school or are with their colleagues, are not satisfied because they were not brought up to be satisfied.”

He appealed to elders in the society to live in a way befitting of their status, adding that women as home builders should also train their children to positively influence their future.
