President Tinubu approved the appointment of Thompson Oludare Sunday as the Managing Director (MD) of the Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC).

The President also approved the appointment of Kabir Sabo Kataka for the position of Executive Director in the corporation.

From the NBS report of 2003-04 when Tinubu was still governor, poverty rate in Lagos was 69.4%.

Obi left office in 2014, there was no NBS absolute poverty rate for 2014. So it's myopic to attribute the reduction to Willie Obiano..
