Jokes EtcHilarious!!! Akpos' Telephone Call To A Radio Programme by Emisco3310(op): 12:51am On Jan 23, 2016
The topic of the radio programme for that day
was, "share the type of play you used to do as a
child". Akpos called in and said, "I used to act
like an armed robber. Thank God my dream has
come through, and I have built houses and
bought cars through the job. The presenter of the
programme asked him which job he was talking
about. Akpos replied, "the job I used to practise
while I was a kid". The presenter said, "No, I
can't understand". Akpos said, "Ok, what I'm
saying is that I am now a professional armed
robber! ",and the presenter fainted.
One word for Akpos!

EducationAlas!!! The Overlooked Simple Acts That Ruin People's Life!!! by Emisco3310(op): 7:51pm On Jan 22, 2016
" Man Inhumanity To Man, A Surefire Path To
Sorrow, Failure, Agony And Anguish! "
Imagine you cleaning a surface and someone
pouring sand, dust and sawdust on it. This
means two things. It destroys the just done work
and makes the next work more difficult. Next
time when you are cleaning the surface, you will
need more effort to do it.
Imagine you vehemently wanting to make a
withdrawal in a bank, and when you get there
you are told that someone just disrupted and
destroyed the queue, and you won't be able to
withdraw now. If you have not made a meaning
out of these, then try to imagine when you have
left home for long and you are hyper hungry.
You get home and you are almost opening your
mouth for food to enter, but alas! Your mum
says your food has just been eaten by a dog!
How would you feel? I can hear you from here
saying, " I go too kill the dog! ", while some
would say the security of the dog and the owner
is not guaranteed!
One of the most pressing natural phenomena is
defecation and urinating! Imagine you being very
caught shot, i.e, seriously wanting to relieve
yourself, and after you have unzipped your
trousers, someone suddenly grabs you from
behind and you are denied urinating or
defecating. How would you feel?
Now, let's come back home from our journey of
assumptions and imaginations. Whenever you go
to the toilet and you can find just a single clean
toilet to use, do you feel happy? Sincerely, you
don't! This is exactly the situation with those
who are involved in dirtying and messing up
toilets in our various hostels in schools and other
places!
Now look! For everything we do, there are
repercussions! I swear by Him in whose hand is
my soul! Nothing would a person do except that
God sees it and such thing is recorded! Now
answer this, will you be happy to see such deeds
in your record?
Do you think those people who are unable to use
the toilet because you have spoilt be happy with
you? Don't you think they can curse you? If they
do, don't you such curses can go straight to
their target, i.e,YOU?
The worst part of your case is those elderly
mothers who, as a result of the economic
hardship, resorted to washing your toilets for the
the amount that is even not worth it? Are you
saying it is their fault because they chose to be
illiterate? Many are graduates on the street, who
cannot feed themselves. Remember that, in all
that we do and all that do us, God id in control!
Their situation is not absolutely their fault while
your status is absolutely not your making! If
these women curse you for destroying and
complicating the work which they do out of 'no
option', I doubt if you can escape! Many are
graduates who will be found facing hardships
just because of such evil deeds they perpetrated
while in school.
Moreover, I swear by God, I heard this with my
own ears! One of those women who wash our
toilets was shouting one day with emotional
pain. She said someone defecated into a black
nylon and put it in her waste bin. Imagine such!
If one of thise women were to be your mum and
she narrates this to you, won't feel like crying
and curse the person who did that? Let's do
away with insincerity and let's always think and
say before acting, " what if they were my
relatives? "
Furthermore, my brother, even if you are rich, it
doesn't mean you have escaped the
consequences of your bad acts! Many are rich
people who have no tranquility, nor know what
peace looks like!
We all blame, criticize and condemn our political
leaders because their bad actions directly or
indirectly affect us negatively! Do you know that
your bad actions also affect others negatively?
No wonder we curse the evil doers everyday, and
they still move and bounce around! If our curses
on one another come to pass, only few people
will remain on earth because almost all of us do
evils in our various capacities and " satanic
jurisdictions ".
*If you want to achieve great happiness and
success, don't do to others what you can't take!
This is what can solve our numerous local and
global problems.
*Conclusion : Please be warned and stop
destroying others' work so that your work won't
be destroyed and burnt! Try this, at least, for
the sake of your great ambitions and foresight,
which I know is how to become great in life.
God bless you as you repent!

EducationPhotos: See The Long Queue Of Buckets And Kegs At A Tap Water Spot In OAU by Emisco3310(op): 9:42am On Jan 21, 2016
In spite of sending students home because of their demand for
improved welfare condition, the condition of the
school is becoming worse day in day out.
Students of Obafemi Awolowo University face the
pathetic rigour of queuing for hours at tap water
spots. The most painful part of this is that OUA
has a dam from which it generates water.
I challenge the school's management to openly
tell us the reason for everyday scarcity and non
supply of water to halls of residence.
I challenge the Federal Government, in its bid to
improve the education sector, and as a way of
preventing some tyrant leaders in the helm of
affairs in schools and institutions from watering
down its efforts, that the FG should please
categorically probe the management of Obafemi
Awolowo university.
I also advise the FG to set up an incorruptible
panel or committee to checkmate the the
managements of higher institutions.
God bless the Federal Republic Of Nigeria.

O ya, share your experience of how and where you heard about Nairaland. As for me, I heard about Nairaland from my younger sister who cannot even remember it again if asked. And this happened in 2012 at a UTME tutorial centre. She told me that she was given a bonus by MTN to visit the website - www.nairaland.com without data. I was very excited to hear this, and since then, I have been visiting Nairaland, and later became a member. I'm proud to be a member of Nairaland! What about you? Share your own experience too.

FoodNigerians Warned By Doctors Against Drinking Garri by Emisco3310(op):
Medical personnel in Nigeria have warned the
public against soaking garri which is like a fast-
food among Nigerians as it poses a grave health
risk.
The Medical and Health Workers Union, Lagos
State council, on Saturday, said that it would
embark on public enlightenment to discourage
drinking of gari for now to prevent Lassa fever,
according to the Nigerian Tribune.
Mr Razak Adeofalade, Chairman of the union,
stated this in an interview with the News Agency
of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos. According to him, the
house rats that caused Lassa fever are mostly in
contact with Nigerian most staple food, gari, a
cassava product.
"We are going to encourage members of the
public to stop drinking gari at this moment, it is
better that the cassava flour is utilised for 'eba’
because of the use of hot water.
"We are waging total war and that is: 'War
against Rats,’ and that is what we are going to
do to ensure we do not have another victim of
Lassa fever in the state.
"We will also be telling them to ensure that their
fruits and raw vegetables are properly washed if
they must be consumed raw and cook to the
appropriate temperature.
"The whole essence is to enlighten our people
because education carries a lot of weight in this
whole activity," he said.
Adeofalade added that the union was also calling
for adaptation of best practices for food storage
to prevent epidemic. According to him, the union
is determined to wage war against rats in the
state and public enlightenment on fighting
epidemic.

Education70-year-old Woman Bags First Class From Open University by Emisco3310(op): 6:35pm On Jan 16, 2016
FORMER President Olusegun Obasanjo was, on
Saturday, awarded Masters Degree (MA) in
Christian Theology by the authorities of the
National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN). He
graduated with 4.25 Cumulative Grade Points
Average (CGPA) at Abeokuta Study Centre of the
University.
A total number of 10,652 others students of the
university were also graduated on Saturday at its
5th Convocation ceremony held at its permanent
site, Abuja, where 15 students graduated with
First Class honours.
The convocation ceremony, which was full of
surprises, also witnessed the graduation of a 52-
year-old grandmother, Mrs Abdullahi Amina, who
came out with First Class degree from Islamic
Studies. She graduated from Gulak Study Centre
of the university, that is in the heart of Boko
Haram rampage.
This is even as President Muhammadu Buhari
said that there was no alternative to
diversification of the nation's economy in view of
the current dwindling oil revenue occasioned by
the fall in prices of crude oil in the international
market.
Buhari, who is the Visitor to the university,
pledged to look into the issues of non-
mobilisation of the graduates of NOUN for the
compulsory one year National Youth Service
Corps and rejection of NOUN Law graduates by
the Nigerian Law School.
Mr Udo Ukeme Effiong emerged the best
graduating student after scoring the highest
Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.71
from School of Science and Environmental
Management, while a 70-year-old Rear Admiral
Orishamolade Stephen Ola made First Class in
Mathematics.
Vice Chancellor of the uiversity, Professor
Vincent Ado-Tenebe, said the students had
fulfilled all conditions for award of various
certificates of the NOUN.
He noted that the former President Obasanjo
bagged MA in Christian Theology, having sat for
about 10 examinations.
Ado-Tenebe also disclosed that Obasanjo was
given admission to study MA and Ph.D in
Christian Theology, therefore, the former
president would now continue with his Ph.D
fully.
Two traditional rulers, Emir of Hadejia, Chairman
of Traditional Rulers, Jigawa State and
Chancellor of University of Uyo, and paramount
ruler of Agwu kingdom, Felix Okechukwu Asadu,
were among the students of NOUN that
graduated.

Business2016 Greatest Road Map And Defeating Uncertainty by Emisco3310(op): 9:01am On Jan 04, 2016
It is not exaggeration that all things will vanish,
even humans. The uncertainty faced by all the
inhabitants of this world is so great that what will
happen in the next minute is unknown and
unprecisely predictable to anyone. In all about-
to-happen events, the situation is, "tomorrow
shall tell". In this same world, the rich of today
are not very sure they will hold the same status
tomorrow. There is a wise saying that, "the
change of the poor is better than the change of
the rich",meaning that a poor man can change
and become rich while a rich man can otherwise
change and become poor. Although, the saying is
subjective, it holds in most cases, which if you
look around you, you will see some examples. It
is this same uncertainty that makes people say,
"one source is not enough which makes a teacher
also engage in selling". People also say,
"yesterday's is different from today's which
makes a herbalist consult the oracle on a daily
basis". If we think very well, we shall see some
benefits and advantages which we used to enjoy,
but which are no more available to us at this
period. For instance, as kids, we used to enjoy
special care and attention from our parents,
ranging from receiving money for food, clothes,
enjoying their shelter, etc.
If this is the case and situation of this world,
shouldn't we tap and harness any available
opportunity? If we can't say what will happen at
the end of today, let alone tomorrow, then, are we
not supposed to convert what is available today
to what can be used tomorrow? As people say,
are we not supposed to "save for the rainy day"?
There are many possibilities surrounding the
uncertainty of this world. What we have today
may have additions tomorrow, it may multiply, it
may reduce, it may drastically reduce, it may even
vanish or disappear. The QUESTION is, which of
these possibilities are we sure will happen? It is
true that people do forecast and predict, but, is
their forecast 100 % sure to happen as predicted?
The answer is no! Then, out of the common
possibilities in forecast, which do we know will
happen? We don't know. Then, we need to think
and rethink!
The uncertainty I have been shouting since is one
of the greatest challenges of the industrialists and
workers. Only God knows what will happen next
to an industry or company. If that is taken, then,
what is the fate of workers? Their fate is
suspended and hanging! The most secured job is
owing a self-sustaining and buoyant business.
But, because of this uncertainty, their fate and
that of their owners in the future is also not
certain. Then, how can an employee relax when
even the employer is seriously working to beat
uncertainty and uphold his status, and, even make
it better by expanding his business. The industry
and labour market are faced with uncertainties,
but it is unfortunate that the workers or
employees are not realising they (employees) are
very flexible in the hands of their masters. They
can be fired easily the same way they were hired!
This phenomenon is so great that, even, the
labour unions are defeated by these employers in
most cases. Or, what will the labour unions do if
the employers give the excuses of economic
recession and economic melt down? There is a
limit to how much the labour unions can defend
you, therefore, defend yourself now!
As a worker, who is currently enjoying an
uninterrupted or interrupted salary, consider your
current job as a means to achieving the job of
your dream. Or, is it your dream to always work
for someone? Are you satisfied and pleased with
being an employee rather than employer? If you
don't know, then, go and know that "the richest
are investors and business owners". "A 'pure
employee' can never be among the rated and
celebrated world richest". My sweet advice for you
worker is that you should let saving be your
number one priority and the first item on your
scale of preference. And avoid the mistake some
people are making as a result of one wrong
notion they have. Some think that one can only
invest or set up a business with huge amount of
money. They think business is only for the rich.
This is a highly deadly and initiative-killing
notion, which should be buried if someone wants
to attain greatness. Setting up a business is a
very simple and interesting thing, in as much as
the person setting up a business has business
opportunities around him or her. Setting up a
business simply requires looking around you to
see what people need or what constitutes a
problem for them, thinking about how to solve the
problem, working on your findings and getting
your cash from that, simple! Don't be surprised
that a business can be started with just $50-500,
roughly #10,000-#100,000 depending on your
business line. And this can grow to an
unimaginable size. It all depends on you!
I want you to know that certain work, like mining
work, for instance, is not very regular. Today you
may get work and tomorrow you may not get,
which means uncertainty affects mining work.
Then, won't you beat uncertainty by saving for
the future by investing or setting up a business
with what you have today? Won't you avoid the
mistake made by many youths when they use the
money which they painstakingly work for in buying
luxurious and highly fashionable things which
cannot bring back a penny, rather, they will even
be spending on them. You can make a research
on "with how much did they start the big
businesses in town today"? Don't be surprised to
see ridiculous amounts of capital, which you even
spend daily on unnecessary and unprofitable
items.
Moreover, if you go to the area of internet
business, you will even see businesses started
with zero capital. Do you know that some of the
greatest internet entrepreneurs today started with
zero capital? Then, why won't you use your
money wisely? Why would you spend huge
amounts of nairas or dollars on fancy things that
cannot return just a dollar when you can save a
large portion of it, which will accumulate over the
time and use it to set up your own business and
start planning on how it will become big and
great?
Dear worker or employee, it's of great importance
for you to build your own business instead of
always looking after others' businesses. Or, won't
you mind your own business? While should you
be always running after someone who can sack
you at any point in time? I want you to consider
your current job as your "money or capital
market", from which you will acquire capital to
start your own business. And be reminded that it
is not a curse to work for someone, but it a curse
to always work for someone without thinking of
getting freedom! Don't eat with the ten fingers as
people say. Let saving be of paramount reason
why you are working. Sacrifice all the fancy
things of today for more important great things of
tomorrow. Please, plan for your future! Enjoyment
of tomorrow is more important than that of
today. Or, what is the essence of an enjoyment
which is ended with career sorrow? Or don't you
know that the sorrow in career can deform and
make someone bitterly sad and useless? In fact, if
someone is faced with downfall in job, like being
sacked, such a person can become insane and
unsettled for the rest of his/her life. Or, in what
mood or state of mind do you think those who
are sacked are? Good mood? Certainly no! So,
why not avoiding such with that amount you call
'small' or chicken feed? Or don't you know it is
"an egg that becomes a cock"? Any "living thing"
like business, if it doesn't die, it can become
something unimaginably great! Don't kill your
initiative! Plan to work for yourself! Don't spend
all your life span working for someone! Plan to be
a boss! Stop working without rest! Plan to stop
that work which doesn't give you time! Plan to
fire your boss! How excellent is it to fire one's
boss! it's a great thing indeed! I love it! It is at
least better than being fired. It is indeed
pleasurable to sack one's boss!
Wealth is what everybody loves to have, but do
we all strive to become wealthy? Are we not
assisting poverty against ourselves? Do we dream
big? If yes, do we pursue big? The reason why I
have been shouting investing and setting up
businesses since is, do we know that a "pure
employee" can never be among the rated and
highly ranked rich people in the world? Why?
Simply because he works within the limit set by
his boss! Even, if he says he wants to work
beyond the limit, no matter what extra output he
produces, who will take the extra gain or profit?
Employee? Sincerely no! The highest reward for
him is to receive a little increase in his pay or
bonus! What tangible thing can such bonus do
when, even the main salary is relatively worthless.
Imagine if he were the business owner, to whom
would the extra profit accrue? Surely, it would be
for him!
Furthermore, remember that the celebrated
stinking rich people today are not employees! Or,
are Bill Gate, Mark Zuckerberg, Alhaji Alinko
Dangote of Nigeria employees? The answer is NO!
They are not, rather, they are business owners,
investors and employers.
Also, I want you to know that employees are
"slaves" or servants to their masters or bosses!
The case is worse if they don't think of how to
set themselves free. Setting up a business or
investing is like setting yourself free from your
master.
Furthermore, note that a small self-owned
business is better than a large company that
belongs to someone else, from which you can be
sent out at any time.
Nevertheless, you may argue that there is
meaningful level of certainty in your job. But, have
you not forgotten natural factors? What if, for
instance, the resources you extract vanish or
become economically worthless? And one of the
easiest way companies relieve themselves of
economic recession is reducing the number of
their workers. Are you waiting until you fall victim
of job loss?
Do you know how many bank workers were fired
in the last year? What about sacked workers in
other sectors, including government parastatals
and institutions? Sacked school workers? Only
God knows their number.
Another fantastically interesting thing about
business is that it can be run simultaneously with
your other paid job. You just need to hire
someone below you to look after it for you,
simple! Isn't it? It is!
Now, it is worth asking that which category do
you which to belong? Those who employ or those
who are employed?
Now, how is it done? Take a step now by looking
around you day and night, even when you are
sleeping to see business opportunities available,
of which you can take advantage. This is one of
the most basic aspects of setting up a business,
without which I may advise someone not to try
going into business. But, the good news is that,
no one without one business opportunity or the
other. It is the work of nature! Why? No one lives
in isolation. And, "business is the only job all
humans can do comfortably without one affecting
the other". It is universally impossible for all
humans to be employees! But we can all be
business owners just by selling or providing
services needed by people around us, by also
buying goods or services rendered by others who
sell what we need. Simple! After seeing an
opportunity, then capitalise on it by investing in
it. After investing, then, always think and struggle
on how it will grow! Try also to increase your
capital base by further putting some of your
salary or earning in your business. Don't forget to
act now! What did I say? Act now! I repeated this
because it once affected me. "The greatest enemy
of progress and success is not acting or
attempting at all". "It is only a started task that
can be completed".
Also, remember another great factor of success,
"time", without which nothing can be achieved. It
is so great that, it is an unnoticed number one
greatest factor of all things! In fact, it is a factor
of production! It is only that it is hidden! Always
remember that time is not by our side, and that it
can never be tied down like other "factors of
doing"
All this can better be achieved at this youthful
age. The rich people of today started at young
age. Therefore, make hay while the sune shines!
You are fit for the task now! Then may be too
late! Act now! Invest now! Own a business now!
No matter how small it is, own one now!
You are sure to become great and successful.
Just start somewhere now! ACT NOW!
You will later thank me and pray for me. Seeing
you at the top, sky is not your limit! ACT NOW!
May God bless us all
Bye for now!

EducationRueben Abati's Vituperation, A Hypocritic Intervention - OAU SU President by Emisco3310(op): 8:19pm On Jan 03, 2016
Reuben Abati was the Chairman Editorial board of
The Guardian newspaper and later became Special
Adviser on Media and Publicity to President
Goodluck Jonathan. For years, Abati has the ears
of President Jonathan and was infamous for
defending the misdemeanors of his boss. During
my early years of political consciousness, I so
much admired Abati's Opinion on Guardian
Newspaper every Saturday. Abati's write-ups
inspired persons like myself to contribute on
national issues even on the dailies. I was so
elated to hear he was appointed Media adviser to
President Jonathan. To my greatest
disillusionment, Abati years at the presidency was
a misrepresentation of his assertions on paper.
Going through the Guardian newspaper Sunday
13th Dec, Abati lent his voice to the clamour of
Great Ife students, condemning the terrific welfare
condition and proffering ways forward. I must
salute Comrade Abati for going the struggle, as
this is commendable, however I will like to let him
know that he was in the presidency for years and
yet could not proffer such way forward.
Maybe I should demystify, the horrendous welfare
condition did not start overnight. It is a fallout of
poor underfunding which President Jonathan's
government is also guilty of, since he could not
divert some of the Abacha loot to the sector but
conveniently divert funds to is NSA account.
During this period Mr Abati did not write to
publicly advise his master to take this education
sector seriously.
The issue of poor welfare is not peculiar to IFE. I
can say it on good note that OAU has a better
welfare than most federal Universities, but, unlike
their contemporaries, Ife students don't settle for
mediocrity. The intense academic rigour could not
permit us to keep mute in the face of such
dilapidated and ill-capacitated infrastructure.
Every OAU student is conscious and inherently
abhors oppression. This is why we are
championing the cause for qualitative education
in Nigeria through proper funding and enabling
learning condition. This is not only commendable
but is in alignment with our historical
responsibility to champion pro-student causes.
We appreciate Abati's opinion, but we will
appreciate him more if he can organise his
paymasters to come around, donate and invest to
our public tertiary institutions.

FamilyGirls And Their Black Lies!!! by Emisco3310(op): 8:12pm On Jan 03, 2016
I was listening to a radio programme, which had
one segment tagged as an abbreviation - sser -
'so se e ri?', meaning, 'has it happened to you
before?' The topic for that night was "share your
bedwetting experience". All guys who called in
confessed that they used to bedwet, and some
guys even said it took them a long time before
they stopped bedwetting.
On the other hand, come and see our ladies and
their 'forming forming attitude'. Of all the ladies
who called in, only two or three married women
confessed while some other girls who were
unmarried girls said they stopped bedwetting at
a very tender age of 1 or 2, while others denied
bedwetting at all. Is that possible? Is it true that
some did not bedwet while they were young? I
doubt it! But, I won't just jump into conclusion
like an ocean diver jumping into the river. 'He
who decides a case based on one-side hearing is
an old wrong doer'. Therefore, you talk the talk, I
talk the talk, we talk together! Is it possible not to
have bedwet while young?
FamilyHow To Maintain Religious Commitment And Family, Friendship Relationships by Emisco3310(op): 8:23pm On Jan 02, 2016
Experience has shown that it is very difficult to
be in good relationship with friends and relatives
while having a deep religious commitment,
especially, if those friends or relatives don't hold
the same faith, religious belief or denomination
as you. It has become a common thing that
when someone becomes committed in his/her
religion, he/she parts away with old friends,
relatives, and even parents. Although, it is
always true that bird of a feather flock together,
if you chase away all your old friends and
relatives, who would you call to your belief? Or,
is your own religion for you alone? Won't you
invite people to it? You should call and convince
them to be committed too.
Note: You should only call to a valid and true
religion!
It is unfortunate that some families have
collapsed just because a member has just
become religiously committed. Some have
received curses from their parents. Some have
even created bad images for their belief or faith
unknowingly as a result of their bad character. Is
it a sin to be religiously committed and serious?
It is a shame if someone's friends and relatives
cannot benefit from someone's faith or belief.
It is not a curse or overstatement that not all of
them will accept, but, do your best and leave the
rest. Among those who would not accept, some
would call you a bigot. They would say you no
longer have their time. They would say you are
cantankerous. But, don't be discouraged.
If you are sincerely doing a particular religious
practice, which your friends or relatives don't
accept, and which causes differences among you,
there is no problem. Just try and make efforts to
find textual evidence and references and put it
before them in the best possible manner. Not
saying, "hehe, you that you said so so and so,
you are in trouble now, here is my evidence
against you". Rather, say, o you my friends or
relatives, I love you and hate anything that can
cause dispute among us. Tell them that it is not
possible for friends not to have disputes and
differences, but it is always possible to settle
them amicably. Say, on so so issue in which you
have differences of opinion or faith, here is your
evidence. Say, you have not brought the
evidence to defeat or ridicule them, but to
strengthen your relationship and friendship with
them. After showing them the evidence, ask
them that do they now know that you can do it
without cutting off your friendship tie with them.
Tell them that you have been doing it based on
this evidence, and I hope that they will accept
and still love you.
In addition, you need to be extra good, nice and
kind towards them following every instance of
differences. If you used to call or text them once
a week before, increase it to like twice or three
times. Take advantage of those aspects in which
your faith or religion has made it permissible for
you to do things in common with them and do it
so good that they might be convinced that you
really love them.
Furthermore, you should try to eat with them and
let them eat with you too. This will strengthen
love among you. If they present you gifts, accept
them without hesitation, and try to also present
them with gifts. Always be helpful to them.
Moreover, if it were your parents, for instance, if
they ask you to do just a thing, try to do
additional two or more things that you are very
sure will please them. Be extra careful here, and
don't gamble! Only do that which will please
them! If they ask #100 from you and you can
afford #200, please give them, or at least add
any amount you can afford to it. This will send a
serious message to them. It is called "aroko",
meaning a "symbol" in Yoruba land. Bet it with
me! Whether in your absence or presence, they
(friends or relatives) will confess that you are
now more nice and kind, and they will decide to
let you be and to let you continue with your faith
or belief or whatever you have chosen to do.
Note: Be sure to always try to do good to them
more than you used to do. Increase your
kindness towards them. This will make them
realise that you really love them, and will make
them convinced that you are really acting
according to a valid religious faith. They will be
happy to see that your faith has improved your
character. They may not know all other things
about religion, but they know their right due from
their children including you. That's why you
would see them saying, " Is it your religion that
says you should no longer show respect to us?
Does your religion say parents are not
important? If your religion doesn't teach good
character, then it is not a good religion, so leave
it now". And, as a matter of fact and evidence,
there is no such religion that says one should
not be dutiful and kind towards parents, friends
and relatives. You may not need to verbally tell
them to accept before they are convinced and
decide to make you (child) their model.
Character does it all! With good character, you
can package "shit" and give it to people and they
will accept it.
Furthermore, always try to let your friends and
relatives know what right your faith has given
them. Tell them, oh, do you know that you can
do this do that. Do you know it is upon me to do
this and that for you according to my faith.
Also, it is very essential to always tell them that
you love them, and try to show love and
kindness towards them. Always be ready to help
them, at least with kind words!
This is not only for a faith or belief, but also for
anything you have chosen to do or follow, be it a
career or otherwise, which your friends and
relatives have objected to. This method also
works for couples. You can convince them
amicably and gently. And I promise you, with this
and prayer, they will let you do what you have
chosen to do.
With this, I hope you will be able to marry both
religious commitment and good friendships and
family relationships.
Thanks for reading!
May God guide us!

A boy grimaces while being treated at a hospital
after being injured in a firecracker explosion while
celebrating the New Year in Manila, Philippines
Friday, Jan. 1, 2016. Despite the total ban of
some firecrackers, many Filipinos welcome the
New Year with fireworks allegedly to bring them
good luck and to drive away evil spirits.
MANILA, Philippines -
The number of firework-related injuries has
reached 384 as of 6 a.m. on the first day of 2016,
according to the Department of Health (DOH).
The number of injuries reported is 53 percent
lower than the same period the previous year and
57 percent lower than the 2010 to 2014 average.
A total of 380 out of 384 cases were caused by
fireworks or firecrackers while the other four
cases are from stray bullets.
The DOH said that 219 out of 380 injuries were
caused by piccolo and other firecrackers such as
five star, kwitis and lusis.
Health Secretary Janette Garin suggested that
piccolo should be banned in the country. Fifty-
eight percent of the injuries were caused by the
illegal firecracker.
Most of the firework-related injuries came from
the National Capital Region with 243 cases or 63
percent of the total cases.
The DOH reported one reported death from
firecrackers. The lone casualty was a reported
drunk man who hugged a "Goodbye Philippines"
after igniting the firecracker.
Majority of the cases involved persons less than
14 years old, the DOH said. Nine children had
their fingers amputated due to firecracker-related
incidents.
Meanwhile, there was no recorded case of
firecracker ingestion this year.
The DOH is seeking to implement total firecracker
ban in the country by 2016.

LiteratureTime, The Major Difference - A Powerful Poem by Emisco3310(op): 3:07pm On Jan 01, 2016
Do we all know that the major difference between now and then is time? In other words, for every change or development, there is a time difference. Then, you were young, now, you are old. Hasn't there been time change? Or, don't you know that between your birth and now is time? Between your birth and your death lies time. Let me quickly remind you that no matter how young or old you are, your age is made up of TIME! Between you and younger people is time,so don't be too proud! You were poor yesterday but rich today. Time is the major difference between the two states, so, don't look down on the poor! The difference between you and a pregnancy is time don't be proud!
Lessons taught by time is enough to become humble. "Time is the greatest resource with which ALL OTHER THINGS are achieved". Use your time wisely!

Time;

The difference between earth creation and its end
The  difference   between   life   and  death
The difference  between the dead  and the living

The difference between struggle and success
The difference between the rich and the poor
The difference between  success and failure

The difference between student and teacher
The difference between leader and follower
The  difference  between  young and old

The difference  between  parent and  child
The difference between mother and daughter
The  difference  between  father  and son

The   difference   between    illness   and   sickness
The   difference   between   famine   and  abundance
The  difference  between  happiness  and   sadness

The difference between matriculation and graduation
The difference between ignorance and knowledge
The difference between employment and retirement

The difference between Jonathan and Buhari
The  difference  between USA and  Nigeria
The  difference  between  village  and city

The  difference  between  sleep  and   wake
The difference between day, week, month and year
The  difference   between  2015  and   2016

FamilyPictures Reveal Why You Must Thank God by Emisco3310(op): 11:31pm On Dec 29, 2015
Why do you always complain? Why don't you
thank God and be happy with what you have?
Why don't you help and give to the needy and
those who have less than you? Or, do you think
people in those pictures are crying because of
inadequacy? No,they are crying because of non
availability! They are crying because they are
hungry! You are thinking that it is not possible?
May God not let you know hunger! It cannot be
explained by those who have not experience it
before !
See the following pictures and be grateful to God!
